I understand this uses the theme’s custom accent colour is the background (in the same way that the category tags do?) so the text is in white. I would like the text to be black with white (or possibly a light grey if better) as the accent colour throughout the site. So this would effect the category tags too.
Thanks for that – what I mean for social counter buttons is on the Social Counter widget where there are “Like / Follow / Subscribe ” buttons to click for different social media, example: http://www.screencast.com/t/CvFGvE2OW
Fetch works for me but not checked many others – it’s free.
I forgot to include:
3. ‘Continue’ you sometimes see in Modules linking to more content.
Thanks Emil – I will check it all out. What I was thinking for the titles was instead of the current white on grey to change it to black on white: (e.g. header colour #FFFFFF header text colour #000000 ).
I wanted Title Case rather than CAPS but I have used the theme panel Translate to change this.
Hi Radu – It was working ok yesterday but now no longer working.
Hi
– I added the social counter to my footer menu and it worked ok for an hour then started to show zero for Twitter so I have removed it. It seems ok where I have it in other sidebars but I will let you know if the problem resurfaces there also.
Thanks – Have uploaded this newer version via ftp replacing the existing .zip
I will check later in the day if it is still working but for now it’s working.
I think maybe a mistake as 15 May is the one emailed to me by Emile today as the latest version.
Thanks Radu – I have received the files and uploaded via ftp but the problem remains, twitter count is not working. The file shows it was last modified 15 May 2014 if this was the latest version?
Yes for me it still shows Version 1.0, uploaded today, date last modified 15 May 2014, 11.56.
+1 Not working for me
Hi Marius – it is now no longer working…
Thanks Marius – I did the manual plugin delete of existing social counter and then upload new one, and it seems to be working fine, I will check in a few hours but thanks for this.
I saw today’s update but the Social Counter has the same date (6 May 2014) as what I’m currently using, so is there any point updating this plugin?
Thanks,
Is there any news on fixing the social counter for twitter?
thanks
Think you’ve hit the nail on the head – all other social counter plugins I’ve seen require twitter oauth stuff and secret tokens…
Makes me wonder if users will be able to feature twitter follower counts if they don’t have this additional information.
When you say “removed and installed again from the theme plugin request.”
Does this mean I should delete the plugin then when WP says the plugin is missing I upload from the new theme folder?
When I look at other similar widgets they ask for various Twitter API’s e.g.API Key, API Secret, Access Token, Access Token Secret, so I wonder if the TagDiv widget is unusual for not needing this info?
Eg here, scroll down to twitter:

Yes I agree – working for me now. I was looking at this alternative to maybe replace it with: http://wordpress.org/plugins/social-count-plus/
Thanks Marius – is there anything else the tagDiv Speed Booster isn’t compatible with ? If not I may give it a try.
My page speed scores are 31 mobile and 41 desktop. I have done the W3 cache as described in the tagdiv support page but not done Speed Booster yet.
The plugin links to the twitter account fine but it just shows zero. I list about 70 social counters at the moment for different organisations, each have their own sidebar, so on their pages they have their won sidebar with social counter, twitter timeline etc.
Can I send you the URL privately somehow?
Thanks – I did this, no improvement unfortunately.
I have the same problem. A sample link: http://youtu.be/r_rVyt-ojpY
Spoke too soon – broken again.
