It seems I was able to find the problem. The pages and posts have used the ‘Default Sidebar’, which seems to be broken. The page loads correctly after changing the sidebar in the Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Template Settings

However, everytime I try to open the WordPress Widget admin area, I get an error message telling me to contact the wordpress support. It seems something is broken or not compatible here anymore.

I would like to add the information, that only pages and posts are affected.

However, I miss a feature where you can setup a blank template for page (like you can for posts). Or maybe a site where some basic design things like title or breadcrumbs could be disabled for pages.

To describe it short: I need a tabbed content module, where I can place ACF capable elements/modules on each tab.

I tried to achieve this with your description, but after creating a custom module it’s not possible to use the Flex Builder Block. It simply doesn’t appear on the left menu. The count of elements seems to be very small comparing to the view, when I’m styling custom post types.
Did I do something wrong here?

Totally agree with one of the commenters.
I run 3 websites with your theme and your error message was displayed to my long-year customers, who think I’m using stolen software now. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A NO-GO! Please change this asap.
Unfortunately, the damage to the trust of my customers is very large and in some cases can no longer be repaired.
In my community I know other developers, who using this theme as well and thinking about to change to another one.

UPDATE: I’ve managed to solve the problem, by registering my CPT in the functions.php. Now the custom posts appear in the live results.

However, these custom post types are using attached thumbnails from external directories. They don’t show up in the result (which is not a surprise).
I see that the live results are using the ‘td_module_mx2’ template. Is it possible to overwrite it with a custom template, which I can store in the child theme directory? In this case I could use my own get image functions…

Thanks a lot, but the problem has been solved. I’ve de-installed and re-installed averything Newspaper related and now it works again.

Can’t give you cPanel access, because there other websites hosted as well.
