I have also noticed this when using ” Standard” cache also. I have to manually purge and clear browser cache all for time to update the time feature block on all my pages

I just found to make it go away I had to untick ” Sticky”

Was the correct method?

I have gone into the search page template. But there is no option to remove it

You need to add the option to make “Blocks” NOFOLLOW.

I have seen so many people using this theme for news sites. I think they have no idea there front pages are bleeding off authority very badly by splitting it hundreds of ways

The theme is SEO flawed bigtime

My domain is Ranked No1 and has big page authority on the front page. The current live site shows only 5 internal links. Now that I have my staging site and out your theme on it, this has created over 400 internal links. This is a massive problem. If I put this live on my main domain with this new theme on top the “Page Authority” is going to split off 400 ways. The theme is going itself is going to kill my landing page “Page Authority”

Google also only recommends a MAX of 100 internal links per page.

So if I live my site now with your theme on top. I am going to lose my No1 page 1 rankings

I am ranked No.1 in Australia for the search term ” TECH NEWS” If I use this theme now my rankings are going to TANK.

You need to fix this issue. The block are a bad idea. You need to lift them off the page or make an easy way to “NOFOLLOW” whole blocks.

I have just discovered this big seo issue. It is so bad now after three weeks of planning this theme and getting it right. I now have to abandon the whole project. The theme itself due to the SEO issues will kill my news and media business

I think you need to consider this in your next up date. This is a massive SEO restriction and big problem This in itself is making the theme very non seo friendly. Allowing over 400 internal links that are ” FOLLOW” on the front page is a very very bad thing.

All you need to do is add an option for ” BLOCKS” to be follow or nofollow

I have tried this css I found. To remove from category and keep on posts pages.

I found this info here but they are using different plugin

So I tried to use your CSS and added in the top suggested

It did not work. Still hidden from all pages. I want to show in my posts. But remove them showing in category pages.

I am urgent for this solution

Can someone please help me urgently. It is just one tiny thing that I stopping me from going live and I am past my launch date.

If I can get this fixed I can finally put this on my live domain. This is only thing holding me after all this time

I think your problem might be the same thing that tricked me when I started looking at this theme

Make sure you check the “General Tab” which is on the left of filter and see ‘ “Offset Posts”

Please provide the CSS code that will apply to “all category pages only”

And so it “Will Not” apply it to my posts

I think you have not read my question correctly. Which is a little bit frustrating.

You have provided CSS that removes the 3rd party author box from “ALL PAGES”

As I have written. This author box is showing up in my “Category pages” It should not be showing in a page such as category/technology/

The CSS provided removes the author box from all pages on the site and no longer shows in my posts “Where they need to be”

1. Remove the 3rd party author box from category/technology/ page
2. Must still remain in my posts

Why would this box be showing in category pages anyway? It does not do this on my site site

I am getting this error also now. Tried all suggestions did not work

It seems this theme is not compatible with almost everything. It’s like trying to nurse a baby.

Ive had to do so many reinstalls, restores from backups and ive been trying for almost two weeks now trying to get my site to a live state where it can be published.

I am not pleased.

This error happened to me when all I was doing was changing the mobile theme. No “Plugins”

Always blaming it on the “Plugins”

Perhaps it’s the theme that’s the issue! The issue being the development of the theme has not been made plugin friendly.

I think this theme has way to many moving parts. It’s needs to be stripped down and brought to the basics

In over 2 weeks of trying to develop a site. I’ve spend a week troubleshooting issues

I have my site almost ready to launch. Its a staging site of a current live site.

Live – techbusinessnews.com.au

Please look at the staging site. This is now urgent as I cannot go live with this problem

I am using the covid-19 header on technewsstage.com

When you start scrolling down the page the header should be popping down the drop down menu. It’s not doing it. And its a stock standard function of this header

But its not doing on my site for some reason. I have uninstalled and re done the header about 10 times. I have also even reinstalled the whole site from complete scratch and it keeps disappearing.

The moment I go into divi and and touch anything and hit save I lose the drop down posts that come down in the menu.

There must be an issue with the covid-19 header on the cloud.

I have totally reinstalled a site and the newspaper theme 4 times now. While totally isolated from caches and other external factors.

I am referring to the drop down menu at the top of the covid-19 header that I drag down from the cloud. Now even if I go to edit it and not actually do anything at all, and just hit the save button the drop down menu that shows 4 posts and images vanishes and I cannot get it back.

Ive tried 4 times on new installations and it keeps happening. I believe there is an issue with the cloud file.

Please check it and get back to me or let me know what the issue is

I think I found the problem with this.

I think the issue was being caused by the footer CSS padding because I put in a different footer template and now its fine.

For one moment you can click. But then unclickable

Hello thanks for the video. This was not exactly what I was looking for.

I used CSS and it made my front page full screen perfectly but adding css into the customizer. But it did not work on the single posts pages.

Do you have some css I can use to make the post pages full width like my front screen. I have managed to this once before on a different site using newspaper. But its not working now for some reason.

Do you have css code you can give me to make the single post page full width on the desktop pc. As said its working perfect for front page

This is my issue. The responsive version is not applyingg in this manner. A default header plane basic version is shown with the default logos ect. Caching issues have been ruled out. The theme is dropping back to default images on mobile when no mobile pages or plugins are chosen to be used.
