@cookingpanda, I get premium support from WPTouch because I’ve upgraded it to nearly as much as it could to unlock the extra cool features for me and my visitors. I have been in communication with them for over a week now and they are trying to see if they can get these two products working together, but I haven’t heard anything positive yet from them. I just sent them another message asking for a status update. I’ll let you know when I hear back.

Thanks for all the help. I implemented your code, but to be honest, it’s still not to my liking. I tried to change to Style 8 – logo + menu on one line and it looks nice on the desktop, but not on the phone or tablet.

The biggest gripe I have is that when it’s in mobile/tablet mode, I’d like the logo and menu/search icons to be in one line. I can’t seem to get that working and not have the logo be really, really small in mobile mode.

If this is the way it is, I’ll live with it.

Nevermind that last part. Looked at it again and realized I missed defining the function (<?php echo $this->get_category(); ?>)

However, the categories that I want to show are sub-categories, so the parent category is still showing even though I added it to the excluded list. Any way around that?

I can work around this for now, but long-term I’d like to show sub-categories without the parent category showing.

Also, how can I get this working with module 6? I tried copying the last half of the code from module 3, but that didn’t do anything.

Thanks! That helped. The logo looks better on mobile phones, but it’s still wonky on tablet sized devices. I wish I could specify logos in certain sizes instead of having to use just one for all devices.

But at least it’s better now for most devices. Thanks again!

FYI, I was able to work with the plugin developer and resolve this issue.

Can someone please clarify how to replace the current share buttons with this one? I disable the themes sharing capabilities, but the only way I can get it to show is to add this to the bottom of the loop-single-1.php, loop-single-2.php, etc. files in the footer section. This puts it just above the comment section. I’d like to to be higher than that, right after the post content. The only way I can find to do this is to edit the post and add it to the bottom.

This won’t work however since I have thousands of posts. Where can I put this so it’s automatically inserted in that location?

1. Can I have it just show certain categories? I don’t want all shown, I’d like it to only show one of three different possible categories. And if it’s none of them, then to not show at all. Would that be possible?

2. Can this be done for all modules the same way? How about the main slider or carousel? Is it possible to implement this on those?

With my current theme (hopefully soon to be old theme), certain categories have color coded titles. I do this as a way to quickly look at a post or list of posts and see which ones are in certain categories.

I’m also trying to get WPTouch to work with this theme. I just purchased it and am disappointed that I cannot get them working together. About 75% of my visitors are on mobile and I need WPTouch to work. For multiple reasons…first, the ad support. 90% of my income is from mobile ads. I can’t find a way to show certain ads for mobile only. I have exclusive agreements from time to time to show certain ads on mobile devices only. Also, and honestly, I just don’t like the way this theme displays on mobile. The WPTouch theme that I use is perfect for what I need. Oh, yeah, I’ve spent a LOT of money unlocking most of the WPTouch features. I’d hate to throw that money away to use an inferior product.

I love the way the theme looks on desktop and it works perfectly for that. However, this might end up being a make or break issue and if I can’t get it resolved, I’ll have to look at yet another theme to switch to.
