True words. Effort from Tagdiv-guys is outstanding.

Obviously the old shortcodes have been replaced. That’s the only thing that me keeps me from upgrading. It would mean hours/days of work.

Where are all the shortcodes from V.4? I’am using over 500 dropcaps, several quotes etc..

Well i bet they are about to fix it. When there is such big updates you should always test it before..

Saving in text mode is the only working way, but as soon as you jump back to the visual editor it deletes all the set breaks.

I am using like 4-5 breaks in each of my articles, so it’s more than just annoying but i got used to it.

I deactivated all the plugins and emptied the cache, but still the same.

As soon as i dont use the “unique articles” anymore the problem is solved.

Any further ideas?

There is a problem with the unique articles-function on my website.

After the first infinite load in Block 6 it shows one article again, which you can see here: http://www.luxusleben.info/

Good job you are doing there but seriously, i wouldn’t recommend to install these untested, unknown plugins.

I once did it and after some months i had to note that many visitors had problems with the rendering etc, even though i couldn’t simulate that problem.

Even caching plugins can make a lot of problems, there can’t be any ‘perfect settings’ because it depends on many factors, may it even be your web hoster.

Be careful guys with these system-interfering plugins 😉

I have the same question.

What he means is that a category page should be without sidebar, just showing the articles of this category. When you set it to no-sidebar, then it won’t appear in the articles of the category as well.

Wordpress would tell you if there was a missing style-sheet in a theme and not let you install it.

I think you should chill out a bit. They obviously got lots of other stuff to do to get it working with wp 3.9 again and it’s already great that they support each single user by even customising their themes (my opinion ;-))

what exactly do you find difficult? of course every theme differs to each other and takes some time to get into it, but it just builds up on the wordpress basics and is quite easy to customize..

There is a menu item called “translations” where you can translate all these points.

I urgently need the “Appearance>Customize Page”, please fix it soon!

It only works when you got a category at a higher level and then some sub-categories..

Just drag this higher category into your menu, make a mega menu out of it and then it will be showed as on the picture.
