I understand the setting you suggest, but if I set the ‘limit post number’ to 4 .. then only 4 posts will ever get displayed. I have 8 in that particular category.. this is the problem!

The ‘Single related post’ element works just fine, but I wanted the posts to display randomly rather than the latest created display first and so on?

It seems this can not be done?… even with added CSS ?

Also .. were can the ‘Single Related Posts’ element be found in tag dive composer ? it seems to of disappeared?

Hi Bettina,

I have changed it from ‘Single Related Posts’ element to a Flex block like you suggested, so I have the option to display randomly.

But now I have all the posts displaying at once! … I only want to display 4 posts and then users can use the pagination arrows to move to the next ones and so on. Is this not possible?…

Because if I change the limit post number to 4 it will only display 4 and not the 8 I have in total obviously

The MOBILE SERVICE section needs to in one column only, this might solve the problem.

Hi Calin,

I did move the MOBILE SERVICES section under ‘memorial hall’ menu, as a test and the sub menu’s work fine!

This is only one column … so perhaps it has something to do with the 4 columns, which the BUSINESS DIRECTORY obviously is, now we added the code ??

There is one major concern!

I have tested the Business Directory, on Safari and Chrome desktop browsers

Chrome is fine, but Safari, under the MOBILE SERVICES ‘sub menu’ no professions are showing ?… I have not experienced this before in WordPress.

The same on Safari tablet, but mobile phone is fine ?

I have started to add individual pages for each profession as you can see.. the support login is still the same as before or go to

But the column width ‘4 columns’ is to short, as you can see, the profession titles are not on same line!..can some code be added to lengthen this please?

Thanks, ok I get the splitting up the page into 4 say A-Z pages. I would require to add new code though to enable the scroll effect in the different pages?

Do you think creating a separate page for each sector ‘100 pages’ would cause problems? .. or not?.. I think it would probably take me the same development time.

Can you please explain in more detail your reply about setting the page in 2 or 4 ??… as I don’t understand what you mean?

As I said this problem has to be resolved the best way for users, as obviously how it is now is not working.

The majority of users will view the site on a mobile.

I can make a separate page for every sector, but thats over 100 pages!!, is this the best way??, or an I going to incur the same problem?.

Also the burger menu when viewing the business directory page isn’t working??

Since the last theme update I’ve incurred issues with speed and plugin conflictions? …. which php version do you recommend?.. currently running 7.4

Thank you for your support in this matter. Its much appreciated.

I have been testing on both safari and chrome browsers! … and tweaked the column numbers.. deleted the code on the mobile entry as it wasn’t working properly.

The mobile is the worse problem? …only the Business Directory page, across all devices is ridiculous slow?? and also now only reads down to ‘Garden Nurseries’ on mobile why?

Why is this the case? … any suggestions?

I have a redirection plugin active as you can see to go to the lite version… whilst work is ongoing to finish the main site… is this the problem?

I also duplicated the main home page called it ‘Stage’ and changed the url of the headers for testing purposes.

I changed one of the older posts template so we can test how it looks and works

Hi,

I have tried to set menu on right, sorry but with no success, I can not get the menu on same line as logo!

Please login with these details below and go to header 1 in my cloud templates, If you could fix please, that would be great.

I do have another header home in my templates, but that has menu on the left which was easy!

The site is still in development, and has a re-direct plugin in use because a lite version is live at the moment.

But I have also a staging plugin in use, for testing purposes.
