Hello tagDiv team,

I was just revisiting my old posts in the forum for NewMag.
Wondering if the development team plans to make changes to the theme width or allowing a fill width option?

What I did to resolve the issue:
– Deactivate third party cache plugins
– Install and activate WP Super Cache as recommended on tagDiv forum
– Delete third party cache plugins
– Revert wordpress theme to NewsMag default; no longer using child theme

You seem to be correct regarding the use of child theme possibly causing non-alignment for elements.
As previously mentioned in another thread, this issue is now [Resolved] after reverting theme to default and clearing all caches.

What I did exactly is:

– Disable all cache plugins
– Install and activate WP Super Cache following the DIY tutorial provided by tagDiv
– Revert back to NewsMag CSS and stop using child CSS
– Clear all caches

voila!

The issue with the block and front page tiles appearing incorrectly no longer occurs.

Hey Catalin, hope you are able to help us out. I had to move my front page to another URL for the meantime to circumvent the issue.

You may find that the issue with mis-aligned and unorganized blocks still occur on this page – > http://www.goproace.com/gopro-news/

Note:
– Issue occurs only for Blocks, but not Grid.
– Issue occur for pages, but not for posts.
– I tried to create new pages but each time the issue return.
– On mobile or responsive view, the site page looks to be out of alignment: all of the block and grid tiles are pushed to left side of screen, therefore not centered.

Thank you for looking into it for me. Unfortunately the issue persists.
Please checkout the current page. Also when I try to create new page, the same problem occurs. However, when creating new post the issue is not occurring.

Sorry the problem still persist as I have always been using 1/1 theme layout on visual composer

Also would you happen to understand why Block 2 and Block 6 are appearing incorrectly on my site front page? For both blocks I have set to 3 columns (3×2 tiles or 3×3). Right now on desktop view these blocks show up as 2 columns and 3 rows or more.

Any help would be great.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function visual_composer() in …

Gwen’s steps are a perfect quick fix. I used this to update Visual Composer as well.

…Somehow the NewsMag theme panel gets glitchy (UI colors changed, drop down options spacing issues, missing functionality) when applying the magic bunny code/ custom mods on NewsMag version 2.0
The mods didn’t create these issues on the previous NewsMag version.

When the custom mods are removed, things seem to work again.
As for website functionality, when the logo on sticky menu appears, it displayed twice, stacked on top another.. Seems very odd, and I cannot figure out what is causing these issues.

Curious to see if you have solved the issue?

I had the same issue as well – could not really figure it out..
The issue seem to have went away when I started adjusting the borders and margins.
I haven’t seen the issue since I’ve adjusted those settings.

Yes – the border got removed, but the space between the module above and the one below is still apparent.
When I demo the newsMag theme created by divTag it doesn’t have that extra space.

In the screenshots that you’ve provided, is it possible to adjust the length of the area located at where the arrows are pointing to?

To turn off the top-border for that row, should I go into “edit this row” tab — > “design options” — > and change the border to “0” for top-border?

I’ve tried changing the row options, and the module options to “no border” but the problem still persists..

First off, thanks so much Chris for putting all of this together – koodos to you and supporters alike for building up a community… and despite numerous attempts of asking people to stop asking questions in this sticky, some people simply cannot listen and let temptations lead to questions for the “drift” king himself.

Just to empathize with you, I spent about 3 days going over tons and tons of material pertaining to page speed, caching, functions.php, .htaccess, whatever I end up stumbling upon in hopes of getting that elusive high score .. Frankly, I wanted to blow my brains out (jokingly, not seriously I assure you).
I cannot fathom putting in the amount of work that you have for this sticky alone, and also in other threads. The pattern is clear, people will always turn to someone like you for the spoon fed answer they want. It’s mighty clear the way you’ve put it – I think you said somewhere in this forum that managing the website is purely the responsibility of the website owner, not tagDiv, not the community, it’s the owner’s responsibility. And I loved the buy a race car analogy.

.. well, anyways I think I’ve said what I wanted to, which is again koodos for everything you’ve done – truly truly great work. Same can be said for the rest of the supporters in this forum… I’m still new here, so give me another week and I’ll have nothing left to vent.

I did have something to contribute.. I found a resourceful YouTube vid about W3TC. Which I have started using.. Seems like a path many themers end up with.. It’s not spam, I assure you, the guy in the vid Craig Chamberlin gives an hour long tutorial about cache settings using W3TC. A for beginners, believe me when I say an hour of watching this guy is waaaaaaaayy better than trying to figure this sh#t out on your own in the wee hours of night.
