Hi
I had only
- Copy & Delete Posts
- Wordfence
- Wp Super cache
I disabled them. Same result.
I also tried to set a picture for that post and then remove it but nothing changed.
I could just replace the “no-thumb” picture but it will be overwritten on the next update

Hi
same here
I replaced the thumb here https://imgur.com/LLWWzeu
I recreated the thumbs using the suggested plugin.
The new thumb is shown during lazy-loading, but then if the post has no featured image, the default grey no-thumb is shown.
Tnx
Uhm I’d like to change aspect f pages. But not by editing the same again and again, or reimporting cloudtemplates evry time a create a new page.
Bye the way:
– what are these for?

– and what are these other three?

I have no other plugins than Newspaper’s. It’s a fresh install.
All settings should be visible using gutenberg as well like using Classic Editor?
Anyway, I solved by installing Classic Editor plugin from WordPress

Authors, not subscribers.
Authors don’t see backend topbar. They could see it yesterday.

In the address bar you can see the url of website.
Sorry, I do not know what else to screenshot.
It did not work.
I tried many backups. Even one from January. The menu for authers does not show up.
The caret thing is solved.
Sure, Sorry, wrong forum!

Ok I solved.
the layout scramble was generated by some garbage html in one post with a “double author” set by a plugin.
I updated the theme and suddenly a huge tagdiv icon bumped at the top of the page
![]()
Can I fix it just displaying it as “none”?
The issue apparently is connected to custom post types. (not custom shortcodes)
If I use only “post” as post type filter, the issue seems fixed (I admit I only tried publishing 2 test posts)
The custom post types are standard posts with some other meta data and they used to work up to last week,
I checked but the content has all closing tags
I am trying to recreate the page and when adding custom post types in block filters under every (custom) post I see the alert below
"WP booster error:
td_module: td_module_single($post): $post is not WP_Post"
2. The error appears on one other page.
I deactivated and deleted tagDiv composer, then reinstalled it but nothing changed
issue closed
It had nothing to do with the theme
In my custom functions.php I had
wp_enqueue_script(‘googleanalytcs’, ‘/’ );
instead of
wp_enqueue_script(‘googleanalytcs’);
and that caused the syntax error.

Hi Calin,
I want to try to get rid of
“<!doctype html>”
Since I see a js error
"Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'" at line 1
how can i see the 3 header files you mention?
grep “<\!doctype” -r *
amp/vendor/ampproject/common/src/Dom/Document.php: const HTML_DOCTYPE_REGEX_PATTERN = '#<!doctype\s+html[^>]+?>#si';
amp/vendor/ampproject/common/src/Dom/Document.php: const HTML_STRUCTURE_DOCTYPE_PATTERN = '/^(?<doctype>[^<]*(?>\s*<!--.*?-->\s*)*<!doctype(?>\s+[^>]+)?>)/is';
amp/vendor/ampproject/common/src/Dom/Document.php: // Detect and strip <!doctype> tags.
amp/templates/html-start.php:<!doctype html>
amp/back-compat/templates-v0-3/single.php:<!doctype html>
td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php:<!doctype html >
td-composer/mobile/header.php:<!doctype html >
td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php:<!doctype html >
td-standard-pack/Newspaper/header.php:<!doctype html >
wordfence/views/waf/debug.php:<!doctype html>
wp-mail-smtp/src/Admin/Pages/TestTab.php: <!doctype html>

Yes my client confirms this problem is on safari only.
unfortunately many of her clients use safari.
Thanks for our help.
Sorry links were garbled

Please see here the missing editor MOBILE icon

That is my config setting.
I edited the text and removed the icon.

The problem is in the MOBILE view.
In my editor I do not have the fourth (mobile) icon, if it ever metters..

Not having that icon, I cannot reduce the screen size to mobile size, hence I cannot see the “SPORT” tagline. I can only see it by mobile phone or desktop via code inspector.
Now I’ve set “Show tagline > HIDE”, but the SPORTS tag still is visible IN MOBILE MODE

Is there any other place where hat tagline is set?
Hello,
yes it’s something like a (polite) theme impplementation request:
> I do not know any plugins that can share the links/posts on whatsApp web
There is no need of any plugin, just plain html:
On the desktop:
via wjhatsapp web
Then click “Continue and Go to chat” > “Use Whatsapp web”
WHATSAPP ICON is displayed ONLY WHEN Screen width is mobile-like.
The button is hidden while in desktop mode.
The Mobile buttone uses the “whatsapp://” mode that in desktop mode it’s not working.
With desktop mode there should be displayed a link like
https://wa.me/?text=Article+slugged+url
See here
This link brings you to the whatsapp page where you are pompted with “Don’t have whatsapp? Try whatsapp web”
Can you point me to the plugin I can extend so I can add the desktop version of the whatsapp button?

I disabled almost EVERY plugin
The ONLY Active plugins are:
- Password Protected (by Ben Huson) (also disabled temporarily with no issue fix)
- Query Monitor (by John Blackbourn)
- tagDiv Composer
- tagDiv Standard Pack
nothing else.
