Hej, ok I will try this. Nevertheless it would be cool to have an option for other elements that are not in the header.

Hi,
I don’t think a screenshot is needed because this is an issue I experience often in the Tag div composer:
For example I use a “Text with title” or “Single image”. When I don’t want to show this element in the landscape/portrait/phone viewport, I select CSS – Display: hidden. So this element is hidden for example in the phone version.

But: The element will be loaded as it just is hidden.

Now I want to design a very wide header image for my first page – but a different one for phone users. If I just select “display: hidden”, the very big header image with a couple of MB will be loaded in the phone version – which is not useful. It should not be loaded in the very first place.

I hope now it’s clear 🙂

Okay I do understand that. But why does “Single background images” not use the size that I chose? It is displayed very small and therefore I chose a smaller size… But it still displays the original one.

Hi Calin,

yes, now it’s like that: I created a new header yesterday with a cloud template. I just changed some colours – to be sure that I didn’t make some mistakes inside the header that ruined everything..

So I now changed the header in the theme panel and it looked nice. Besides the problem that at some sites some photos aren’t loading! You can see my website with the “no template” header again and compare:

https://www.annaobermeier.at/ueber-mich/ loads like this with the cloud template header: https://prnt.sc/uyiyq5
Or the blogpost https://www.annaobermeier.at/an-der-alten-donau/ loads like this: prnt.sc/uyiz81

Hi Calin,

this worked and I now understand why there were two headers. So now I still have the problem that I don’t like the “no template” header and want another one that works!

Hi Calin,

the weird thing is that I don’t use a cloud header like you wrote. I chose “no template” at Theme Panel – Header – Cloud Library Template.

Also now the website is using more than one header. The header that the frontpage http://www.annaobermeier.at is displaying, is my custom header. When going at another site like https://www.annaobermeier.at/minisessions/ – it is the “no template” header. At Safari and Firefox the same problem.

When I refresh the page with Command Shift R (without cache in Firefox) – everything works at the “No template” page. At the frontpage when refreshing like this, it’s also crashed again and looks like this: https://www.annaobermeier.at/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Bildschirmfoto-2020-05-04-um-12.43.13.png . So it is pretty clear to me that there is a big trouble with the custom header / custom cloud header. Unfortunately it doesn’t work as you explained.

All the best

After some investigation with my friend:
I activated the plugin “tagDiv Standard Pack” which was deactivated from the theme itself and had to be updated in a very weird way. Then I chose “No template” for my header. I think this last step is the MAIN PROBLEM:
Now it seems to work. I had troubles with custom headers in may, as you can read in my last post.
Now see the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/umg7vj
Left the website with safari which still shows the old header.
Right the “no template” header.

I want my header to look nice like in the left browser. But it seems that everytime I make a custom header, my whole website crashes….

I made a workaround which works for me… unfortunately I dont know how to delete this post.. 😀

I noticed, the problem is not the zone.. It’s the “td-equal-heights” CSS code which doesnt work anymore inside this footer… Anyways, I try to fix it by myself..

Hi Calin, I asked my host for the php.ini changes but he wrote that my allow_url_fopen is already “on”…

Hi Calin,

so it’s not possible to create a footer in the backend without already being “live”?

(How do I manage that the sections of my cloud-template-footer all appear among each other in the mobile version? When I don’t use a cloud template, but the style 9 of the footer template, with widgets – then they appear among each other. Unfortunately this doesn’t work when I style a cloud template…)

Or – Is it possible to have a different footer for mobile?

Update Nr 2: My boyfriend has Newspaper aswell and he has the same problem – he can’t edit the footer (from the cloud library) because the Tag Div Composer doesn’t work.

When we’re at the overview site of the cloud templates, and hover over a footer – there is no “edit template”, while we can see it at other cloud templates.

I deactivated ALL other plugins, then activated them one at a time and the problem with the Warning doesn’t appear anymore…

Update: When I deactivate Yoast, at least the zodiac footer is imported… Anyways, I can’t save it most of the time and I can’t edit inside Tag Div Composer at the old footers…

Also I found out, whenever I am able to save it… and I watch the preview, the footer is imported two times and there is this message:
Warning: getimagesize(https://www.annaobermeier.at/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/logo-1.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /www/htdocs/w014a910/lovely-photos.at/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792

Unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore now… When I add a new cloud template – choose for example Zodiac Footer – Create template – it says Import completed. But there is no imported Footer, it shows my main footer and nothing else…

Hi Calin,

seems like nearly all of the requirements are fulfilled – I don’t know where I can get the information about my php.ini memory limit, so this is the only where I dont know if the requirement is fulfilled.

Cache plugin and page speed optimization don’t have anything to do with that, right?

Hi there,
my host wrote that die option “allow_url_include” is deactivated within the PHP 7.4, so I changed it to 7.3 where it is still active. Unfortunately I still get the message… And also when I click “View” it doesn’t only show the message, it also won’t show the logo.

Hi Vlad,
it’s http://www.annaobermeier.at – I already upgraded my PHP version, I think the memory limit is also right but maybe you can have a look what seems wrong.
After I made the changes, today it’s a bit better but yesterday when starting with the new theme, it was also fast at the beginning.. then the problems came..
