Column Text is now not working for me on Firefox as well. I can add text but it does not save what I added. Is there any other block I can use to add shortcode?

Thank you Calin. We ended up creating a custom header and displayed all the menu and submenu items as you suggested in a support post.

Working with @Simion with tagDiv support, he was able to identify the issue with our sites being caused the AdRotate Pro plugin causing a high number of hits to the Admin-Ajax. If you have this plugin, go into Settings and then select the Stats tab. Change the “How to track stats” option from “AdRotate Tracker” to any other option (I used Google Global Tag).

@Vlad S, I’m also now not able to add a new Column Text block to the page – I just get a constant spinning circle (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/L2xav9.jpg). I will email your team our site login credentials.

Hi Vlad, this is not code I am trying to add to a page. This is text I’m trying to add. For example, if I go to https://www.adcreview.com/about-us/advisory-board/ and try to edit the first Column Text block (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/9FyTcp.jpg) and I click Edit Text the Visual tab is blank and doesn’t allow me to add content (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/qUgG3i.jpg)

The issue went away for a short time after the tagdiv team made an adjustment on our site last month (not sure what was done) but it returned this month. I also completely disabled the heartbeat and my host had me block two bots that were causing high hits. Not sure if this is resolved yet.

Hi Vlad, yes I saw that but I would like to have the text appear small like the ad title. Is possible using the heading?

@rrystrom digging into this further, each of the blocks throughout the theme use ajax, so having filters in blocks, etc. will cause a spike. Since I’m only seeing this impact one of our site (oncozine.com), I went through and made sure we are disabling all features on blocks and category pages that use ajax. The only filter we were using was on the Category page, so I disabled that. @tagDiv any other steps I can take? Sorry for error in my original post I meant TagDiv Composer, not Visual Composer.

It was Ad Rotate (free version) causing this issue on the current version of the theme. I asked Arnan, publisher of that plugin, to reach out to you guys to find out what it would take to become an approved plugin. If there is any information or application process to become an approved plugin for Newspaper, please share so I can pass this along. It would be really nice to have our favorite theme and ad plugin play nicely together.

Thanks for getting back. This only bolds the first item in the List Menu vs. bolding the List Menu page based on which page you are visiting. The way it should work is that if I’m on this page:

https://staging1.bionavigen.com/services/translational-sciences/

then “Translational Sciences” should be bolded.

When I’m on this page,

https://staging1.bionavigen.com/services/immune-oncology-drug-development/ then

Immuno-Oncology should be bolded in the list menu. Hope this makes more sense.

Vlad, just to confirm, I’m not trying to bold the word “Services” in the right rail. I am trying to bold the page name, “Discovery”, indicating you are on the Discovery page.

That is not an option with the List Menu shortcode (see screenshot https://snag.gy/tGmk5S.jpg).

This is working now. The issue was that I was using the “Hide” function within the custom ad to not show that ad on desktop and tablet, which was causing the shortcode to not function.

One question, in this help article https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ you show ways to only show on desktop, tablet or mobile. Is there an option to just hide on mobile? I’m trying to prevent the side bar ads from pushing to the bottom of the post when viewing on mobile.

Sorry just saw this question. When you create an advert using adrotate, you want to specify the width and height, just after where the image source appears for the ad code. There are two short cut links to insert this into the code (see arrows). See screenshot https://snag.gy/rw0G3m.jpg

Thank you Vlad. The reason I wanted to add additional custom ads was to be able to control which ad sizes appear on desktop vs. mobile devices. Using the Ad box, is there a way to only show that ad on desktop and tablet, but not mobile?
