Thanks!
You are so right. I’ve been using the child theme so that my styling won’t get messed up or lost during an update. Might need to rethink that one.
Thanks again!
Suzanne
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I was able to fix it. What I had to do was completely change all font-family code on the main themes style sheet, make all the child theme settings in the theme panel the same font, and do custom css in the child theme for h1 – h6.
That’s a lot of time and work just so things so correctly in IE.
Thanks,
Suzanne

Okay, I’m probably missing something pretty simple here, when I try to access the style sheet or open it this is what I get:
/*
Theme Name: Newspaper Child theme
Theme URI: http://themeforest.net/user/tagDiv/portfolio
Description: Child theme made by tagDiv
Author: tagDiv
Author URI: http://themeforest.net/user/tagDiv/portfolio
Template: Newspaper
Version: 1
*/
@import url(“../Newspaper/style.css”);
/* —————————————————————————-
Your custom style…. here 🙂
*/
How do I access the complete style sheet? That would solve all of this. : – )
Thanks,
Suzanne
Hi Lucian,
Since the Quattrocento is a part of our brand we definitely need to use it. I don’t understand how to use it with your css example. Would you mind give me the code to put in the custom css code area so that it will show on ie?
Thank you very much.
Suzanne
Okay, I just deactivated your recommended plugin Animated Gif Resize. Now it works fine. What do I need to do about the plugin?

Hi Lucian,
I deactivated all plugins that the theme requires and there is no change. If you go to IE the cursor doesn’t even move forward. In firefox it moves forward but you can’t see what’s happening. I spoke with SendPepper again. They have retested everything on their sites. The form works on all browsers. Please help soon. I’ve already gotten two emails of people wanting to opt-in but couldn’t.

No need to reply. I found it.
.td-sbig-title-wrap .td-sbig-title, .td-slide-item-sec .td-sbig-title-wrap, .td-mobile-post .td-sbig-title-wrap a {
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.7);
Thanks.
Thanks!
Great Theme! Great Support!
Thanks Radu,
I was using that header and uploading a transparent .gif background. When I saved it as a .png (same file) it now shows as a transparent background. Strange. So do I use a logo that’s 1200 x 400 for the Retina logo upload?
Thanks again,
Suzanne
