It is still not working so I have installed the CookieYes plugin. Both are currently live but only CookieYes appears to work in both the mobile theme and desktop versions.

I am monitoring it. It appears to have been a caching issue.

Hi, it seems to have corrected itself.

I would like to think it is related to cache but know it isn’t. The only other thing I have done recently is download a couple of templates from the Cloud Library.

To get around the issue I have added the following Custom CSS…

.td-footer-wrapper {
background-color: #222;
}
.td-sub-footer-container {
background-color: #0d0d0d!important;
}

I would appreciate knowing what has caused this issue as I shouldn’t have to put in Custom CSS as a way of fixing this problem

Hey Calin,

Thanks for the reply. I selected the element.. it is Block 15. I don’t see any setting to change the post titles, I was able to change the hover colour to yellow… the other settings do not affect the post titles though.

General settings for that element:

Style tab seems only to have font styles, but not colours:

Thanks 🙂

Here is the page even without the short code – https://gyazo.com/d28eef201b5f173b8d0a4dfa108a7ed9

post content color does not seem to be available for this element, coloumn or row – https://gyazo.com/a8e18dce4fd8f61879075c7d27e3f8f7

unless I have missed something?

Hi… I have not used tagdiv composer on this page… but it is assuming for some reason that I have.. even if I remove the shortcode. I don’t think it is a plugin compatibility issue. Is there a way to reset the page to default (not a TD Composer page)?

Its not working at the moment. Some kind of SSL error…

The Irish Place

Hi,

Yes they are only loading on the homepage. Before they would load on every page. How can I correct this error?

Thank you

Hi Bogdan,

Thanks for your reply. This is not the case.. I mean the little icons next to each menu item. They appear in the homepage, but not the other pages…

Having amended the CSS as per your instructions the issue has been resolved.

Many thanks.

Has this been fixed in 8.6?

Amazing, Thanks!

Hey Simion… heres some examples…

for this page – https://www.theirishplace.com/2205/the-treaty-stone/

Scroll down to the image aligned right of the statue. Change the view to iPad/iPhone and you can see the text over runs the edge of the image (screenshot 1). If you then rotate the view to iPad/iPhone landscape the problem is more obvious (screenshot 2).

Hey.. I got the font set to load… it was a file referencing issue to the fonts folder.

But I am still having an issue with alignment and the iconfont effecting the font weight of the menu text.

Thanks,
Killian

Thanks Simion.. unfortunately not though. I don’t have the mobile plugin activated.

I tried editing the css as instructed – no difference.

Hey Simon,

It seems to still happen sometimes. Definately on mobile – see screenshot:
https://gyazo.com/8905b9ec2e65ab3f02c51e9cd2a9f878
(thats landscape view on iphone5, portrait the featured image was full width and the caption layout was correct.) Also same issue on ipad.

I think it also happens when i am logged in to the WP dashboard and looking at the frontend site pages.

Running theme version 8.5.1 with all updated plugins.

Thanks,
Killian

I have changed some wp-config settings and its working out ok now.

1 problem is that open sans is still displaying in the sub-menus and some of the widgets such as the social counter – which is not how it should be.

emailing log in details now.

The Irish Place

please note that when I added the class the font of that particular sub-menu got changed to ‘serif’ and the font of the other sub-menus is ‘open sans’ …..even though I have set them all to Raleway (only the top level font is displaying as Raleway) – I cannot not workout why.

OK thanks, doing that now…

Ok, I have add the class to 3 of the menu items to demonstrate what happens.

It displaces the menu text and the icon does not appear… just a square box in its place. The alignment is messed up. Also it seems to have effect the menu texts font-weight.

I implemented it on 3 menu items:
Home, Heritage and Events.

I mean I made the changes… then saved them. But nothing on the site changed…. then I checked the theme panel again and the fonts were back to their previous setting.

I changed them again… and saved again… same thing happened. No changes on the site and when reloading the theme panel my edits were not evident.

So I am confused.

I tried this many times over a few days and so far I have not been able to change those font settings.
