HTTP2 is the forefront of progress. Most hosts already support it and I have 8 websites already with it enabled.

Not sure why you have not included compatibility in such an astronomically important shift in web technology.

another vote for this, it refers to “Default Font” but nowhere can you actually change it other than via CSS file.

I have installed the latest version of newsmag for a project and still having the same issue/problem with according and tabs.

The theme is not compatible with visual composers features in it’s current form.

When will you be solving the problems? There are a few now including the anchor link menu item problem (other post) and at this rate it does not seem like these problems are going to be resolved.

The client is insisting on a 1020px max width for box size so that the takeover (background) adverts are not cut off on smaller resolution screens.

Any guidance as to the elements I need to change will be appreciated, thanks.

The only reason my client(s) are requesting this is as most of them run on 1020px to 1024px for background advertising/takeovers. So the artwork needs to be re-done every time so might be good if you do add this as option in future, different width but other than that thanks for awesome theme!

I thought as much that is why I asked first. It’s one thing to change the width but I noticed the menu, social icons etc gets cut off and that is before I even look at the rest of the layouts so I am going to go with your advice… don’t change the width lol

going to assume this plugin was never created as have two projects I am about to start and really wanted to use newsmag BUT, GeoDirectory looks crap out the box so hhmmm either other plugin or another theme sniff sniff

The same problem is with others but also, if I use “TABS” as example, as alternative, then for some reason the tabs load but always 1 missing so I cannot use that as an alternative either.

The tab shows just now content shows inside it.

If you can let me know when you have found a solution as I have two websites affected.

aha, found it… I sort of remember with newspaper theme I had the same problem.

I had to edit loop-single.php and I added this:

<?php } ?>
Just before this:
<?php echo $td_mod_single->get_content();?>
That way the excerpt will display just below the image. I would think for the different styles (I am using default) you just need to move it up or down to fit where you want it to display.

I can see you what you added to the parent mega menu but not sure why the links don’t work.

If you inspect element on the links you will see the jquery error

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: http://nicolook.com/testing/caminos/caminonatural-nosotros/ jquery.js?ver=1.11.3

Look at MAX MEGA MENU, that might solve your problem and it’s a free plugin so easy to test.

Headerstyle 8 is the one we both use.

I cannot mess with the live site they have 700 to 1000 real-time visitors on it at any time during the day. What I will do is setup a dev url then submit so that you can see.

I had a quick look and you are trying to add mega menu to a sub menu item.

It has to be the PARENT and not a sub item of a sub item.

Does this make sense?

So
– INSTRUCTIONAL needs to be the MEGA MENU that is a page let’s say “INSTRUCTIONAL”
– SUB ITEMS is a menu you create via Visual Composer and I think you can, not sure, you add sub menus to that.

But as you have it, having a sub menu item as the mega menu, it is possible, I think, as a standard feature with this theme. You will have to create/use a custom mega menu something like MAX MEGA MENU as it seems like they support it.

I have restored Version: 6.5.1 and logo is displaying again. Not exactly ideal as now we cannot update.

Do you perhaps have the fix?

We are using STYLE 8, so clearly style 8 is not setup / working properly.

PLEASE can you check as we have to be able to update the theme and we are using a child theme and have all the custom CSS in the theme panel setup.

How did you resolve it?

I also found,

The ONLY thing that changed on the site was update to the theme.

What you need to do is create a page eg. “3Menu” or any name.

Then you create three (or as many as you need) columns with visual composer, add some text in or you can add a widget position and assign a menu to each widget position.

Then, you go to appearance, menu manager, add a menu item and select the page under mega menu option.

Then in the drop down that page will display.
