Hi, it’s http://www.amisun.com.
We have Robin image optimizer plugin, if that could be the culprit. It all started after the latest Newspaper update and affects android mobile and tablet only.
Thank you so much!!
Hi Simon,
It did work before and this is the first time it has not worked.
The only reason it is working on the video you were working on is because I took a screenshot of the video and added it as the featured image. I didn’t have to do that before. The featured video generated its own image.
Where do you go to update the PHP?
Thank you!
Similar experience on Bluehost VPS. Server going nuts. Deleted TD composer.
Not true. TD composer claims “required”, but you can wipe it completely and use WP Bakery Builder. Use one or the other. Especially if you built your site with VC. My point is how bad it is for long time users who upgrade to 9.01. Really, not a quality experience, and I have come to like TagDiv quality otherwise.

One of the really bad things about Newspaper 9.01 is that the theme says TD composer is REQUIRED in all red, as if the theme won’t work without it. Nothing could be further from the truth, and for those upgrading, this is a real deception. Change “required” to “choice of two composers” or something. You are killing people with this bad UI.
Have been using Ad Rotate two years. Works pretty well. Can’t get video ads to work yet, but not pursuing it heavily. Other than that, it’s effective.
I spoke too soon. It seems to have corrected itself in the update to 4.9.1 for new posts, but photos that were rendering correctly before are now exhibiting the same text wrapping problem.
Seems to have corrected itself with 4.9.1. Thank you!
I centered them because the text wrap is not working. When I set a photo flush left, for example, in draft mode the text appears on the right of the photo. But in preview or publish modes, the photo is to the left, but there is white space – not text – on the right.
The quote I am tying to change is the block quote as in your screencast image. Just the basic [oversized quote mark] function.
I have gone into the settings I mentioned in the original post. I have attempted to change the point size, trying 10 and 15 points to see what effect. It appears not to have any effect on the basic block quote (as in your screenshot) when I manipulate point size in the – theme panel – Theme fonts – post content – default block quote settings.
If I change this, will it only impact future posts, and not ones that are in draft?
If the answer is that it impacts posts in draft, then I can tell you with certainty that the function is not working.
Let me offer you a different idea.
I am trying to change how the block quote looks in the default post template. Can that be done here:
Newspaper – theme panel – Theme fonts – post content – default block quote.
Thanks
I got it working. I had an install glitch. Reinstalled, and works. One test case complete.
Does your theme allow/provide for any jQuery? Has your team ever encountered jQuery? Could I please get some technical detail other than “we don’t do that”?
I realized it is not supported. Can I get 5 minutes of thought?
Could someone think about this for a few seconds instead of just reading me a rule book?
There are 300,000 installations of that Plugin. It is the number one Google Map plugin in the world. Newspapers do publish maps, do they not?
