Thanks for answering but I must say that it’s a little bit “strange”…
Still no solution for pages ?
THanks ! But I guess it doesn’t work in a child theme… Isn’t It ?
I realize now that the problem happens only on Pages and not on Articles…
Any idea ?
Same problem for me…

install a fresh copy of wordpress and our theme (no plugins)
I told here that I’ve done exactly what you suggest, but it still doesn’t work.
In the meantime, I installed WP Modal Login.
I’ve just created a fresh new install of “WP 3.9 / Newspaper 3.8 with Demo content” on this server.
The problem is the same with the Login Form:
- can Register
- but cannot Login (continus “Please wait…” message)
Same problem.
With Newspaper 3.7 I was able to login.
No changes in my plugins.
Since Newspaper 3.8 update I cannot.
If you are working with a child theme, deactivate it before attempting to install Visual Composer (activate Newspaper parent theme).
In Visual Composer Elements of Newspaper theme:
- no more access in visual Editor area
- no more TinyMCE toolbar
since WordPress 3.9 upgrade.
🙁
OK. I’ve installed WP-Ajaxify-Comments.
It’s working fine !
I think belikeliquid is talking about the message that appears to the visitor (not to the admin).
I agree.
After a visitor leaves a comment there is no message to say if the comment is approved or not, etc…
Hi,
By the way, “Home > Authors” too… 😉
Neither do I, this time…
Thank you anyway.
@Marius who say “we have missed to remove it” (about the link “Manage sidebars”):
why not to correct and keep it ? It would be very convenient !
