Site is extremely sluggish. I’m using Newspaper with the Magazine Pro “prebuilt” theme.
Might one of my plugins be going to war with Newspaper? I turned off all previously used page builders.

This can be caused by more factors.
It can be from the host. It can be from the extra plugins. It can be from external resources.
What I recommend is to make a full backup for your website and after that make some tests using only the necessary plugins.
Make sure that the theme requirements are set https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ after that try the settings from ours guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
I hope this will provide some improvements.
