vamos por partes, antes de todo cambio realiza un backup de tu sitio y base de datos.
teniendo esto vamos a lo siguiente
por ftp descarga una carpeta de uploads/año/mes/ todo el mes. Abres Riot, seleccionas JPEG, quality 80%, encoding PROGRESIVE. ahora seleccionas todas las imágenes y las arrastras a RIOT, se abrirá una segunda venana de riot (batch optimizer)con todas las imágenes, maximizas esa ventana y verás un boton SETTINGS, seleccionas overwrite existing files, seleccionas la misma carpeta de originen donde tienes las imágenes y le das en STARt.
el proceso va a demorar según la cantidad de imágenes. Esto solo tocará la imagen dejando el mismo nombre, solo reduciremos el peso pero no las dimensiones.
Al tenerlas todas las subes por ftp nuevamente seleccionando sobreescribir existentes.
Y listo. Todo queda igual no debe de darte fallos.
si a caso algún fallo que te pudiera dar es que tengas codificacion ANSI o UTF8 u otra codificación y descargues una imagen con un nombre y subas una con otro.. Ejemplo:
En tu web tienes la imagen moños-económicos.jpg pero al bajarla a tu computadora en otra codificación es mo&n0s_econ*´0/micos.jpg ya que la Ñ y los Acentos se transforman a otra codificación. En este caso tendrías que verificar que lo que subas se llame igual que lo que bajaste 😛

BTW – I checked out the M&S “The Wolf” video and shared it. I noticed you’ve got your name entered wrong for the Twitter via username. Shows via @Festival Snobs and that space breaks and benefit of the via tag. Should change it to via @FestivalSnobs if you want it to do any good, since that’s your handle on Twitter.

Для работы сайта мне необходимо создать собственный Custom Post Type (post) и Custom Taxonomy. Плагин CustomPress я взял для примера, так как он удобен. Также я могу создать CPT вручную, используя WordPress Codex.
На самом деле способ создания CPT не имеет значения, вопрос в другом, как функционал темы правильно подключить к CPT “post”, чтобы использовать все возможности темы по аналогии с Блогом?
После создания CPT, в админке для него нет следующих блоков:

In all my posts, the images always show in their original size, even though I repeatedly include their intended size in HTML or via Image Detail window.

I have specified 200px width for all images, whereas they still appear as different widths, as per their original size.

I changed the code and it works.
Now I still have 2 more issues:
1/ In the page with multiple categories, we can choose a Primary Category.
It will be nice that ONLY the one choosen appear in the title and not all.
For example here there are 2 categories in the title (there is Matos, Videomania instead of only Matos) :

also, i figured also this: I use the top 10 plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/top-10 and after i install newspaper version 6.2 on my site, it’s hit on one post, count it doubled on top 10 plugin. For example: On jetpack stats and on “post_views_count” on wp_postmeta table, one post has 1.000 views (the real), but the top 10 shows 2.000 views.

You need custom modifications to achieve that, as you will have to change the log to position absolute and target it for each screen device using media queries. update. the bid grid is fine, but the posts on “ARTICLE DISPLAY” under the big grid doesn’t show correct.
this part shows the next “X” articles, after the “X” articles in big grid. For example, in case you show 5 articles on big grid, under of this, shows the nexts articles, begins on 6th article in this category.
I want to show all the latest articles under the big grid. Now, this part, show latest articles, after the 5th.
Do you have any plan for the future version with these features ? I have suggested this for the team in the past but still not get it in most versions.
I think it would be great features to turn off some spots for mobile and tablet views. For example, you can turn off sidebar, header spots or footer spots in specific views (mobile, tablet), to make the mobile version is more faster and look great.

Hello just purchased the Newspaper theme yesterday. Am very new to it so am having a bit of trouble. I am trying to seperate newspaper categories for each section. For example I have news sections called “Editors Pick” and “Lifestyle” but they all have the same sub-categories which are “All”, “Business” and “Travel”. I can’t find where I can change this. I would like “Editors Pick” to have the sub category “Business” and the “lifestyle” to have the sub category “Fashion”.
