When post’s image is portrait (wider than high) everything is perfect, but when post’s image is vertical (taller than wide) I need the image to be left aligned and not filling the whole content body width.
So I can’t save those images as Featured, but I need its thumbs for the frontpage.
I’m using Post Template Style 2 through the site.
Example:
Here is a post with vertical image.
On the frontpage of the site, Block 2 “Noticias” seems a blank image instead of the article’s image thumb (article’s image is not Featured).
You know, the theme is creating the image’s thumbs anyway, so IS THERE A WAY TO USE THE NOT-FEATURED-IMAGE-THUMBS ON FRONTPAGE (BLOCKS)?

It doesn’t work that way, due to dpi of the monitor, font size on different devices, differences in font files on different devices, etc.
In other words, expecting the words to “wrap” identically in the editor and the live page will never happen. A web browser is a fluid reader, and not a fixed device like ink and paper (e.g., “real magazine”).
You have no finite control over layout as you do with something like QuarkXPress or similar print production.
So, for example a web-safe font, and even a Google font may have different kerning, metrics, letter spacing, etc. depending on device, and somebody might even have fonts over-ridden to “always” use Times Roman, vs seeing PT Sans or whatever.
So, a line in the editor which is 8 words long, might only be 7 words long on the “actual” page, as it’s only a virtual preview, and not a “pixel accurate” preview of the live page. WordPress isn’t that precise. It’s a blog platform which has “matured” into a CMS. It’s not a professional publishing application for multi-platform publishing at a micro-control-level.
In other words, it’s impossible to make something like “identical” on all devices using this kind of product, or really any modern CMS; because the web isn’t a fixed viewport on ANY device.

In the same way, the “metrics” and DPI of different devices makes WordPress admin panels render slightly differently per device — this is a function of WordPress… so if the “line” is set to take 50% of the view; well, the view is going to vary in width per device. So, 50% of 640px on a desktop might be 50% of 600px on a tablet due to responsive layout and resizing to fit the new device; etc.
Nothing is inherently wrong or needs to be fixed, this is just how it works.
The divider line is an “aid” not a 100% exact representation — it’s not a WYSIWYG setup 🙂

This will add an ad to every article of my website.
What if i want to add an extra Ad on a specific location on a specific page?
I have tried that, but the ad does not show up. Is this limited by the theme?

These 2 are appering correctly.
Now in the page itself, i have added a Google Ad code for a 3rd Ad, right after the H2 title

That one doesn’t appear. Is this blocked by the theme? Do you have an idea?

There is few issue i can’t fix at all.

For posts main content you also have an option in theme panel but only to make it thicker, if you want to set a lower font weight you can use custom css to do it: http://screencast.com/t/4GkMSXlhj42

Thanks for the response. According to the WordPress documentation, it may be possible to remove the filter by passing in the object:
If a filter has been added from within a class, for example by a plugin, removing it will require accessing the class variable.

Hello! My problem today is that often my homepage, which has the normal slider in the top & first 2/3 of the page, renders all the images from top to bottom, rather than as a slider. I limit the slider to 4 articles at a time, so those 4 featured images often render below each other, as in my example photo here. That photo shows the slider images rendering on top of each other, and the ones below the main slider space go under the blocks and content below, and it makes it look quite ugly and messy. Any idea what’s up?

you have a whole bunch of errors, one seems related to ads, one with JQUERY, as if a plugin is trying to load something; a bunch of “access denied” errors; and looks like some error related to a social media element, and a slideshow element.
If using a plugin for any of that kind of thing, it might be the fault!
try disabling all your site plugins, except for Visual Composer.
If you are using a caching system, or you see a big [clear cache] button in your admin (as with GoDaddy), you need to clear that.
With only the theme active and Visual Composer active. Hit refresh [F5] on one of your post pages; the “view counter” should increment by 1 when you do so. Did that work?
If so, then turn on your other plugins one by one and re-test until you find the plugin which is breaking the theme.
Only you can do this, as you need to learn to manage your own website.
If you are using a caching system/plug-in you need to use an advanced setting in the theme to enable “ajax counter” capability; where the theme attempts to use javascript (JS) to increment the counter, since the caching would normally preclude or block that from working (e.g., the idea of caching is to serve up a page which does not change; so how can the counter change on the page if it’s cached and not actually being served as new page – logical, right?).
This is the best way to “debug” why your particular instance does not work.
Then post an update here with a sample page link to one of your posts, if you can’t get it working. 🙂

I’ve noticed that some places the font is bolded or has a thicker weight that I would like. For example, the Nav Bar. Where can I find the option to unbold the font in there? Or maybe use a thinner variant for the main post content.

I think we messed with this on one of our sites with CSS awhile back, but might not be what you need; originally this issue came up due to changing the font size would change container size/line height, and sometimes different fonts have different line heights, etc. Try playing with something like this:
.block-title {line-height: 28px}
If I’m mistaken, I apologize. But we actually ended up doing something cool and making the entire block solid to get rid of the whole (stupid) underline look and instead having solid bars:
.block-title {line-height: 28px;background-color:#666}
this is not the latest-latest version of Newspaper, and I think I need to update from WP4 to 4.1 (doh); but example:

I have a problem with the premium Plugin Sabai. There is a conflict with the Newsmag Theme.
I can’t click on the tabs which are made from this plugin. My site is not public now so here is a screenshot of the tabs and a link to the official demo where you can find the tabs.
I contacted the support of the plugin, but they can’t find the bug. So they wrote me:
we’re not able to locate the code that is causing the issue. Can you contact the theme developer which code we should be looking and possibly a fix for the issue?
