Good. But just for confirmation: We are using icons in header & removing social counter plugin should not break it in upcoming theme updates, right?
I am using Google auto ads option. Now if I install your Official AMP for wordpress & mobile theme plugins, do I have to use your ad manager (or another ads plugin) to set ads locations or will the ads be placed automatically by the google?

Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

I am using a Genesis child theme on one of my wordpress sites. In all the posts I have inserted one image at the beginning of the each post using wordpress “Add Media” option. I have also selected the same image using “Featured Image” option. The current them shows the image once only at the beginning of the posts.
Now I want to use Newspaper theme on this site. But the problem is when I use Newspaper theme the image is shown twice at the beginning of the posts. One way to resolve this is to delete the image added through the “Add Media” option. This will take a lot time as I have hundreds of posts on the site.
Can you please suggest any other way to resolve this issue.

We do see that Flex Blocks allow for the rounding of corners on thumbnails within a block. Wondering if there is some way to specify to round corners for thumbnails only by category? For example, only present rounded corners on images of columnists or images of opinion articles vs. news articles? Anything more granular than by block? And are we able to use regular blocks yet to achieve the rounded corners, even with CSS, or still limited to Flex Blocks? Thanks so much!
Our website: WDWThemeParks.com is using the Newspaper theme with a bit of customization. We have developed a tagging system where a post that’s tagged to a particular page will show up in that page’s news feed.
For example, our page for the Disney attraction: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is located here:

On the sidebar it shows the most recent posts tagged to this page and you can click through to “Read More” where it will bring up the full feed of posts tagged to this page:

The problem occurs when I want to view the second page of posts. If you hit the right arrow at the bottom of the feed it will bring up new posts, but those new posts are for the entire website and are not unique to the tagged page’s URL.
Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

So you need to go in Newspaper> System status and in url replace this parameter(admin.php?page=td_system_status) https://i.imgur.com/gsPlyLn.png with this one (admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1) -> https://i.imgur.com/oLmHo4G.png and pres enter, after that set the theme key and everything should work.

But are you sure this will not break anything now or in theme update? We don’t want to waste time fixing on our live site.
For example: This social counter plugin is only for those follower numbers etc right? We have small social icons in header. so deactivating will not cause any issue with it right?
I have already disabled it in yoast.

Its not only about indexing. Main problem is, why this page is even there!
Say I have a long article which has multiple sections (could be pages by using page-break or using a special H3 to separate it)
The real question is: how can I make it Infinite Scroll; which means as the user scroll the post will load its other sections and then even the ur of the post will change accordingly: example.com/post-title/1, example.com/post-title/2, example.com/post-title/3 and etc. as you keep scrolling.

I just installed Newspaper and I’m encountering strange technical issues:
1. When I open an article and scroll down, scrolling back up results in a whole bunch of text (from further below) appearing on top of the article.
2. On category pages, the sidebar does not appear as a sidebar. Instead, it appears under the content section of the site.
3. The category pages I created are not showing the proper number of posts (either two or zero – randomly it seems).
Is there a place I can send a support request with the login info?

I just checked your website and the ads on mobile are displaying 300×250 size -> https://i.imgur.com/uNxUBdG.png not the difference is that each mobile has a different resolution, for example for the mobile devices with a big screen the ads will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/cq2byLR.png (the ads will have the same size), in this way was build this system for mobile ads. What you can do is to pick a fix mobile size ->https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7031480?hl=en

The problem with page 1,2,3.. from search, it seems that when google indexed your website, you have some pagination and you access these links you’ll be redirect to 404 page if these are no longer available on your website, for these that are still there will be redirect to that address, for example https://globaltechgadgets.com/category/technology-news/page/2/
If these were already indexed by google then it will take some time until these will be remove, but disable the cloud template from yoast to be indexed will prevent this for other cloud templates.

For our AMP pages on your newspaper theme, we are trying to edit the_content using
add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘prefix_insert_post_ads’ );
Normal pages work, but AMP doesn’t. Are you removing that filter, what can we do to edit content?
We want to be able to add certain tags after a number of paragraphs.
Also please tell us how to properly edit the wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/ theme in the child.

Also wondering how i can get the Sign in/join removed from the top left header. I already toggled it off in the newspaper theme panel settings a week or so ago.

How to Fix

It’s an easy problem to solve, just add the complimentary aria-label to the duplicate landmarks and clearly label what they are. For example:

There is a issue with amp version in mobile. Menu is broke along with pages. I think some plugins are conflicting. can you please check?

I have migrated to a fitness template (fitness pro demo) based on tagdiv page builder that has been packaged as a part of the theme. I like to keep the template intact. However, I have few plugins which I had activated earlier and is made for WPBakery Page Builder/VC Composer.
After activating the WPBakery, I see that there is a layout issue with the mobile version of the template. It introduces a thick white line on the right hand side.
Any suggestions to fix this is appreciated.

When using Mobile view (both responsive and Mobile theme)
The 300×250 Ads are being displayed smaller (width wise) than the actual content.
However, if you look at the responsive sidebar, when shift to Mobile view, it looks PERFECT!
How can I enlarge my Ads size spot on the mobile view so that it will look as beautiful as the size that the sidebar can display.
Please note, all of my Mobile Ads spots are using 300×250 ads.
Also the Sidebar is using 300×250 (while in fact the display are covering 335×255 – which is the content size)

(p.s. – I’m using media.net so I cannot adjust the Ads size they only have fixed sizes)
