I just changed my theme to NewsPaper and i’m having some issues with the thumbs size, some images are not taking the full size for the blocks like in the categories and some others which is pretty problematic, i didn’t have this problem when i was on NewsMag, the images were always auto adapting their sizes to the block size .. how can i have the same thing in NewsPaper ?
Basically i don’t want to bother myself with images sizes, the theme should automaticaly use all the block no matter the size of the image, i remember that on my previous theme, some images were automatically zoomed or resized to fit all the block, i would like to have the same thing there, i hope i’m clear enough …
Also another problem is that the speed of my site when testing on PageSpeed Insight is really horrible compared to before … how can i fix that ?

Unfortunately Newspaper Theme does not offer automatic resize options. we recommend to upload the photos full HD or 800x600px.

Regarding the thumbs size, are you sure ? this problem wasn’t present when i was on NewsMag and NewsPaper is supposed to have more functions so there should be some tricks to not have to edit images ?
Also could you please tell me how can i reduce the width of my footer to make it the same width as the rest of the site ?

What Vlad S, want to say is that the theme is not resize the images, the theme is generate thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
The footer can be reduce from theme panel (if the footer is a standard template) or using tagDiv Composer and check the stretch row from footer template (if you are using a pro demo or a cloud footer).

Thank you, i just used the regenerate plugin and it fixed the problem with the images, it works like a charm now 🙂
Regarding the footer, i’m using the default one but i don’t find any option to reduce the width, i also tried to change the footer stretch in theme panel > template setting > force full width but it changed nothing so i’m not sure.
I have another question regarding the standard pack plugin, it’s said in this post that to gain even more speed we should desactivate the standard pack plugin but each time i do it, my home page get all buged .. pretty sure i’m missing something, could you please help me ?

About standard pack, you need to check the full article about this plugin -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/ before you disable it you need to replace all the standard blocks with flex blocks and other few elements, in this way when you disable the standard pack, you website will still look normal and not full of short-codes.

Regarding flex block, the equivalent is only available for the big grid, but there is nothing similar for all the other blocks ..
So if i understand well, i need to recreate all my homepage using the cloud ? isn’t there a way to convert my current homepage or maybe upload it as a custom cloud template ?

You can use blocks and sections from tagDiv Cloud Library, or you can install a pro demo and but you need to make sure that you use your own content and not the one from demos, this will be delete when you change the theme or you uninstall it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

I nearly finished re-building my homepage using the cloud but i can’t find any block or section template that have the trending bar i use right below my main menu, could you please advise me one ?
i also have a problem with the mobile version of my sub-footer, everything look normal but if you try to access to the contact form or any other legal pages, you will see it’s buged .. could you please help me with that ?

There are some elements that are set in tagDiv Composer like trending bar, this do not need to be replace it will work with tagDiv Standard Pack disable.
Just make sure that you set the cloud template for footer in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/Inz7ZPC.png in this way this will be the same in your website.

Thanks for your reply, the problem is with the mobile version only, if i try to visit any of the pages that are in my footer menu, it simply doesn’t work, there is just the title of the page displayed and the ads but nothing else … however it works perfectly on desktop.

Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

I fixed the problem with the mobile pages except for the contact form, it displays correctly but when i try to send a message, it doesn’t work, how can i fix it ? i use contact form 7 plugin.
Also i try to put a homepage made with cloud templates only and disabled the standard pack plugin but i didn’t see any speed improvement when testing with PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.

The standard Pack from Newspaper X is for standard style/templates, using standard plugin all the style from the theme will be loading in your website, if you rebuild your website only with cloud templates then you can deactivate the standard package, then you should be able to see an improvement, the cloud templates will load only the necessary style. Please make a test on a staging website, get the Newspaper 10.3 from your themeforest account install a PRO demo and deactivate the standard package check the results and after that try with a standard templates with standard pack enable.

I checked the link you sent me but it doesn’t help, the contact form works perfectly on desktop, the problem is with the mobile version, i did a copy/paste of the code in the mobile editor, the form show up but it sends nothing
