I too am experiencing these issues and have had to disable AMP and Mobile Theme. My thread is here:

The response is disappointing.

You are suggesting i need to install and run a plugin manually every 24hrs to delete the excessive transients being created.

The second article also cannot help as the MqSQL database is in read lock situation.

I have had to export out and import in the tables into a new database and reconfigure wp_config just to get my site operational again.

The core issue here is that with mobile theme and AMP activated wp_options is being flooded with transients. 900mb worth inside 24hrs.

I am on my own searching clear i am not the sole person to have this issue:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/the-amp-gate-is-becoming-a-nightmare/

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/what-this-in-wp-options-table-_transient_timeout_amp_img_/

I need TagDiv to know the problem, investigate and fix it.

Hi,

Is look like you have set some auto ads code in theme/plugin files or theme panel and this is not use -> https://validator.ampproject.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.exobaston.com%2Fe3-2019-samurai-shodown-rimururu%2F%3Famp
Or maybe the plugin doesn’t insert the code where it’s needed. Try to enter both codes manually, one between the head tags the other after the opening body tag. According to the Google specifications that should work

Hi,

You need to chose another logo for mobile, in this way the logo on AMP will be the same as the one from mobile.

If this one is valid, it’s amp version doesn’t load. It still loads the normal page.

In the second screenshot that you have sent if I try to check the preview result, this is what I get – https://prnt.sc/nzxuki

The link I used is also valid as AMP. But the AMP version of the page doesn’t load.

This is what I see now when I test using the search console
Google Index – https://prnt.sc/nzxww6
Live Test – https://prnt.sc/nzxx1o

If you search for the link in the URL, it won’t open the AMP page.

Hi,

I see it there as well, it is below the content for some reason. Did you maybe make modifications to the post template files? Try setting a different post template to see if the same happens. The sidebar container should be part of the same general container with the post content, but from what I can see it is below it.

If you did not modify the files, try setting a different sidebar. Use a simple sidebar with a block in it for example. If the problem remains, we could take a closer look at it.
Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hello, I have the latest version of the system updated. I don’t understand one thing though … the footer of the home page is different from that of the internal pages. The footer is set as the same. I am aware of it a few days ago, but checking the settings it seems to me to be ok. Thank you so much Rodolfo and always congratulations for everything.

Hi,

Seems to mention that validation failed for all those AMP links. I tested one of the links from the screenshot, it’s valid – http://prntscr.com/nzx6oihttp://prntscr.com/nzx7mm
Maybe you fixed the problem, looks all right at the moment.

Thanks

Hi,

I can’t see the screenshot unfortunately – http://prntscr.com/nzwgd3
I did check the website, the thumbnails seem to be created properly from what I can see.

There is a difference between the images photon serves and the original theme thumbnail, not that noticeable however.

Jetpack thumb – https://i1.wp.com/newzealandguide.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/abel-tasman-national-park.jpg?resize=218%2C150&ssl=1

Original thumb – https://newzealandguide.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/abel-tasman-national-park-218×150.jpg

Original image – https://newzealandguide.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/abel-tasman-national-park.jpg

Do you maybe use additional image processing or optimization plugins, code or server modules? Maybe test without photon, check how they look then.

Thanks

Hello, i just moved from my old site https://www.concisenews.global to a new site https://concise.ng.

The issue now is i am unable to replicate some changes i made on the old site to the new one, Primarily i want to increase the width of my post to 1200 0r more, i basically want it to fill the page as much as possible so there wont be space left at the Left and right hand side of the website.

https://prnt.sc/nzvn7s This is my old website and exactly what i am trying to do on my new website. (You can see the red arrows indicating the space)

https://prnt.sc/nzvm9u My new website (You can see the red arrows indicating the space which is too much)

How do i go about this?

Hi, this does not seem work, otherwise I would not ask 😉

Let me give you an example. Perhaps you will be able to tell me, whether I am doing something wrong.

Here is the link to the Facebook Page post

Here is the shared article on my website

There are 33 FB likes on the website, yet only 4 on the FB page.
Is there a way readers on my website would click the website’s FB button and to have these likes than reflected on the FB page?

Many thanks in advance,
Vic

Hi,

If you plan to achieve that layout, please note that you can do that style with Cloud Template Library. As an example, you can load the Block 67 from Cloud Library from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/N52XSU1C and then, set up that block to a row and for another one, you can set up it but change the image position. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ayzdGC0C

The footer page can be used if you want to display a page in the footer, instead of a footer template. It will affect the whole website. The predefined footer templates are limited in some ways, so in this case a page designed with the composer for example, can be set to display there.

That depends, for example if the pages contain theme provided elements, like blocks and grids, these should work regardless of the composer used or being active. But if the pages contain specific WPBakery elements like tabs, accordions, masonry grids, these won’t be recognized by the composer. The same would happen if a page contains composer specific elements, and it is edited with WPBakery.

Hi,

An example would be helpful, which links should jump and where. Maybe there is a way.

For example this demo’s menu items jump to specific locations in the homepage
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_dentist/
Or links in the page content like in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/smooth-scrolling-html-menu/

Thanks

Thank you Calin,

I managed to get the 3 featured posts but I am still getting an overwhelming amount of “An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused” errors.

I activated the tagdiv mobile plugin and the Amp wp, but I’m still getting errors, on posts and pages.

Would you mind taking a look on exobaston.com?

Thank you

The header and footer of all AMP Pages is terribly disturbing. How can I made the header and footer of posts the way it looks in mobile format without AMP.

Please loot at the pics…

My host has a 1Gb limit on out MySQL Database. This is fine as it sits around 200Mb on a normal day.

However. I activated the mobile theme. Activated AMP and within 24hours 900Mb of transients related to AMP were added to Wp_Options table before I realised what was going on. The transients all relate to AMP.

I ran a transient delete plugin. This removed them from table but only moved then to overhead in the database.

My host has placed a read lock on my database until I get it back below 1Gb.

But I can’t optimise the table to be rid of the overhead as the database is read / write locked!!!

So I have a 200Mb table and over 900Mb in overhead I can’t delete to recover access to my database.

Our host is kicking it up their support levels but it doesn’t look like they will help much.

As a news site we have been crippled for the weekend by not being able to add any articles as the database is in read / write state and WordPress is reporting all sorts of errors.

When the database is restored IF it is. Then I don’t the untold damage to the site.

Searching this forum other users have encountered the same transient and wp_options table issue in relation to AMP.

Where was the warning from TagDiv about transients and steps to take avoid these issues.

I DID try the mobile site and AMP on a test site. But obviously with reduced traffic on a test site. This issue did not appear.

Help!

I am using the AMP plugin with the Newspaper theme. From the last few days, the AMP pages have stopped working. All the settings are turned on in my theme panel and the particular posts have AMP enabled as well.

Here is a screenshot of the problem that I’m getting on the Search Console. Please tell how can I fix this.

In TagDiv Composer is there a way to set the columns to a custom width? For example I am using the 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4 column layout. Is there a way to make it 1/8 + 3/4 + 1/8?
