I am also interested in this. WPBakery has an option titled “Prevent duplicating posts on page” which works great.
This is useful when offsetting posts and not wanting certain posts to appear in certain parts of the page.
Hi,
1. I suggest to use tagdiv composer pagebuilder because all the new theme features will be developed for it. We provide and keep WPBakery support more for old users who for some reasons do not quit using it (like a legacy).
Can you provide more details about the issues you have found using our pagebuilder plugin? We will gladly assist you.
2. I’ve replied also in the other topic. It is better to solve the demo install issue, so you can see exactly how is made and you just replace the image. That’s why we provide the demos, so the user will not need to create a layout from scratch!
Thanks!
Hello !
I am sorry for the misunderstanding !
New users don’t really use wp bakery from what we have seen and our developers have left that option to the users choice so it is only manual. In order to update it follow our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you !
Unfortunately I have a lot of problems with your tagdiv composer.
question 1:
If I install wpbakery that I know best, are the pages recognized and in particular the home or not?
question 2:
Why can’t I find a way to put the image like in your demo?
See the image below:

Sorry, I Know that and I have three licence of themes but
I’d like to Know, when you update the theme with a new version of bakery builder, if I have a old copy of theme that I have updated, why the copy of bakery doesn’t update automatically too.
Hello !
Please note that WP Bakery came in a bundle with Newspaper Theme for Newspaper Theme. If you want it for other websites it is recommended to get a copy from them.
Thank you !
Hi Tuxon33,
It looks that now the mobile version is displaying correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/kVv8JHL.png -> https://i.imgur.com/3S7vAFh.png
We still provide the WPBakery plugin with our theme, but we do no longer use it for our demos, for example for pro demos these are made only with tagDiv Composer and cloud templates.
If there is still a problem, please let me know!
Thank you!
Hi,
I see you have update the theme in the new version and you have update the bakery builder too.
How I can take my updated copy of bakery for my website?
Thank you
Hey there,
I’ve just updated my site https://tucumanactualidad.com/ and I can see it is not working well Mobile…
Is there anything I should look into, any setting?. So far everything seems to be green and updated properly…
PHP version on server is now 7.4 and no critical message on system status.
I have no clue what could be the problem.
Also, is Version 10 still using the WPBakery Visual Composer?, because I see you have now your own tagDiv Composer, and if the WPBakery isn’t used anymore, I’d like to remove it.
Thank you for your help.
Hi lebaconsulting,
Yes, WPBakery Page Builder is a Bundled Plugin that our theme is prodding as alternative for the users that do not want to use our builder (tagdiv Composer with tagDiv Cloud Library).
Usually this problem appear only when you are using a pro demo made with tagDiv Cloud Library and you have enabled WPBakery plugin. We recommend to use only one of them, not both, please check the plugins that you have enabled and let only tagDiv plugins.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello!!
I’ve founded the plugin that is making conflict, it was WPBakery Page Builder and this was included on the theme plugins.
Thank you!!!
Hi,
This problem can appear when you are using the WPBakery, if you have this plugin enable then please disable it and try again.
If there is still a problem, it can be from a setting like allow_url_fopen = On;
-> https://chemicloud.com/kb/article/how-to-enable-or-disable-allow_url_fopen-in-cpanel/
-> https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/developer-corner/php/using-php.ini-directives/php-allow-url-fopen-directive
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your reply.
I have disabled WPBakery plugin and it works now.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed if you use WP 5.5 then you need to use Newspaper 10.6.1 or 10.3.7 because the compatibility was added only in 10.3.6.1
What you can do is to use and WP under 5.5 or update the theme.
Now I understand that your website is base on WpBakery, what you need to to is to use enable tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard pack and WPBakery, do not activate tagDiv Cloud Library because these plugins are not compatible.
Now because you have an old version, is possible that after update to appear some problems, but most of them we should be able to help to fix.
Unfortunately there is no plugin or tool that can convert the content made with WPBakery in content for tagDiv Composer, sorry!
What I suggest is to try this on staging or sub-domain to not affect the live website and after the update is stabilized you can change it on live website.
Thank you for your understanding!

We are stuck on Newspaper 9.2.2 and TagDiv Composer 2.3 as our site which is very large is built on Visual Composer (WpBakery) predominantly and updating to the early release of Newspaper 10 broke the site – meaning we would need to convert every page (1000+) to use tagDiv composer. Now that WP 5.5 is out, we have to run jQuery Migrate Helper – as TagDiv composer causes lots of jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated errors.
The question does the latest version of Newspaper now migrate the old Visual Composer Pages properly so we don’t have to rebuild the site or is there a fix for our version of TagDiv composer for compatibility with the latest version of WordPress?
Thanks, Vlad S! I’ve updated the plugin but the WP Bakery plugin doesn’t seem to be working at all. Not working for both pages and posts! Presently installed versions are as follows;
WordPress 5.5.1
Newspaper theme: 9.8
WP Bakery: 6.4.1
Kindly help.
Hello !
You can find the latest version of wp bakery in each update we get. You can download that from themeforest as you can see here: https://i.imgur.com/X915iDh.png
Thank you !
Hello Every one,
I can not update the “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin. I think this plugin comes with the theme. The theme version used in my site is “9.8”. When I am trying to update the plugin it shows the WPBakery Page Builder login page. Please suggest the solution.
Hi,
If the posts are set from panel -> https://i.imgur.com/FizD6Q8.png then these will take the layout set in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/0pCpC95.png (also you can set it from frontend -> https://i.imgur.com/8ruTY8o.png) but this will work only for these posts that doesn’t have set an individual post template.
Disabled WP bakery should fix this problem -> https://prnt.sc/v5eurl but it can not set all post from global.

Thank you!
Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I have disabled WP bakery and all of the pages still havent been moved over to global template. Is there a way to override all settings without having to go to each post individually.
I recently upgraded from newspaper 7 and it seems to be using the outdated template settings on some post.
Also, The navigation sub menu is unaccessible now. I have went through and made adjustments on the plugins but it seems to be a theme issue.
Hi,
1. Yes, this can be done as in this image -> https://prnt.sc/v5ethg then all the posts that does not has set an individual template will have the one that is set global, also this one https://i.imgur.com/3wo1GFS.png is the same with this one -> https://i.imgur.com/HDmyRxo.png
2. Usually this problem appear https://prnt.sc/v5eurl when you are using a cloud template and Wp Bakery plugin, if you have this plugin enable, please disable it and the layout will be display normal.
If the problem still persists, please provide me a link where I can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi TrueNorth,
If the pages from the old website were made using tagDiv Composer then should be no problems, only if it was use other builder. For the example if the pages were made using visual composer (WP Bakery) then you have a change to still work if you use that builder, but is possible that this to no longer be recognize by WordPress 5.5
Let me know what boulder did you use for old pages.
Thank you!
Hi,
Here is how I see your website on my mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/oau5fFw.png this is because you are using the mobile theme plugin.

These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
