Hello,
Please do not use both page builders at the same time. Do not keep both builders active at the same time. Only install td composer or wpbakery. not both.
Thank you!
Hi,
When I install the WPBakery plugin the newspaper homepage gets disorganized.
Instead of showing one row with several columns, the website displays every column below each other.
When I deactivate the plugin the columns are presented nicely next to each other. again.
Anyone who knows how to solve this?
Hi Bogdan,
I disabled everything exept WPBakery Page Builder. Still the same issue.
It’s activated just like any normal plugin. You get ‘bundled version’ with the theme, but you don’t get separate ‘support license’ with WP Bakery. You could buy one if you wish, but it’s not included in price of theme. See theme docs on how to setup the plugin 🙂
Happy holidays.
(I don’t work here)
Need help. My WPBakery Page Builder cannot work properly.

Also, i cannot click delete block > http://latihlogika.com/screenshot/screenshot2.jpg
I edit the blog page with Page Builder plugin WPBakery. But its impossible to use Sidebar. Crashing page. How to fix it? I want to edit page the Backend editor.
Good theme with lots of options but I seem to have a problem when creating a homepage as a “page” instead of a blog listing. As a news site, we use bylines of many different writers who provide copy through syndications or wire services we subscribe to. The articles are posted via a “CHB” account and then we apply the correct bylines of writers using the “byline” plug-in. If we use the “blog” home page from recent posts, the “byline” names appear properly but when we create a new home page using TD Composer, the bylines are lost and the “CHB” line appears instead as the writer who created the article. This didn’t happen with the WP Bakery VC Composer but we are like the TD Composer and are using it to create our home page. The bylines appear find on the category archive page listings and the post template but not on the articles and excerpt used one the home page.
Example: Here is the latest homepage: https://www.capitolhillblue.com As you can see the lead article in the biggrid list at the top lists “CHB’ as the author because the article uses that ID and not the “byline” that is supposed to appear.
Second Example: https://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/69693 This is an article that appears from the link on the home page. The correct byline is listed in it.
Third Example: https://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/category/congress This is an archive page. The correct “bylines” appear in the BigGrid on the top of the page and also on most recent articles listed under it.
Is there a coding that can correct the listing on the home page?
Dear, I believe this code snippet has to do with Newspaper … Does the theme (or WPBakery Composer, which was part of the theme) not use Ajax and jQuery? Does not Newspaper need to call these scripts in any file?

Hi
i’ve installed the theme 8.5, both tagdiv and visual bakery composer, but i cannot succeed in designing the HP using block. If I try to include a block that display the articles horizontally – on 2 or tre columns – in a full row of part of a row (2/3, or 1/3) i get as a result as much as one article per row. See screnshot below.
what am i doing wrong?
(i’ve worked with this template on another webiste with the 8.0 version and visual composer: all went flawless)

Good day…
I am having bad “Google PageSpeed” test results for my site http://www.adelturk.com (Result: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=eng&%3Furl=adelturk.com&url=adelturk.com )
I did disable all plugins that are not coming with original Newspaper theme to avoid possible slow time. So it is only 4 plugins active which are came with theme ( tagDiv Composer | tagDiv Multi-Purpose | WPBakery Page Builder )
Would you please take a look at the result and tell me why the results are not okay. It shows %89 rate for
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ here >> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=TR&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper%2F&tab=mobile

Hello johnfelipe,
Unfortunately, I have inspected your backend page but I saw that I do not have any access to your panel and plugins section. It seems that the TD Composer works as expected, without any problems. Regarding on WPBakery Visual Composer, please notice that regard is not theme’s related and as I have explained you above, the multi-site has not been tested with our theme and also, we cannot provide support for this, sorry! For more information about this, please check here -> https://blog.visualcomposer.io/what-is-wordpress-multisite-explained/
Thanks.

I have added my newsletter signup image from my media library to my home page using the single image element from WPBakery Page Builder and have added a link to another page on my website, but the image does not link to the page. Please advise.
Hi,
when i try to setup a blog page with wpbakery ;
share buttons are disappear at the top and bottom of the page.
How can i make them visible automaticly like default ?
Thank You.
Hi bro, this is an answer
then pls tell me if i need change something, because author of wpbakery tell me is network supported, theme is not network supported?
Sorry I meant backend editor and I have been using visual composer for the past two years with your theme and it was working as of two days ago. I am aware of the tagdiv composer and have been familiarizing myself with it however we have some visual composer elements on our site that we would like to continue to use. Is there anyway to re-enable visual composer (Wpbakery page builder)?
I think I’ve found more details about the problem. These three items (the TagDiv Gallery in posts, the Visual Composer WPBakery Slide, and the home search button) are being blocked by Firefox and Chrome.
The message from Firefox is: “Firefox has blocked parts of this page that are not secure.”
Do you know which theme files I should change to try to fix this block? What can be unsecure about these items?
Hi there,
Today we updated our Newspaper theme to v8.5.1 and now wpbakery page builder will not load up when we go to edit a page. None of the code is displayed along with the frontend editor. The webpage still works, it displays everything when viewing the page we just can’t edit the page.
Wpbakery worked when we activated one of the loaded wordpress themes. When viewing help items on wpbakery’s site they suggested that the editor may have been disabled by our theme.
Please advise on how to fix this. Our site is condostudio.ca
Today we also activated an SSL certificate through siteground.
We are planning to do a travel website with an own cityguide category. The pages there would be WP Bakery pages. Now I’d need a 2nd sticky menu for the own city – please see https://www.screencast.com/t/WVbPStQc as the start stage and https://www.screencast.com/t/Pu0Auxhd as rolled up.
Is there any way to produce that more or less clean using TD Newspaper JS code? Or which parameters would I have to use for own JS code? The sticky navigation would be an own WP bakery row so an individual class can be attached.
Kind regards,
Herwig
I have that same homepage that you want working http://www.satellitebeachdaily.com
pages->all pages>homepage – front page
Create the homepage-frontpage with WPBakery Page Builder Backend Editor
add rows to the page, then fill in the individual rows with the type of blocks you want to use (add element) by clicking the + sign in each row
You can then divide the rows up in 1 single column or multiple columns
Themify is different theme company; which panel are you trying to open exactly?
Do you mean TagDiv Composer? WPBakery?
You can’t generally mix different theme components.
You may need to be waaay more specific.
I don’t work here; just some feedback.
I need to have a custom Homepage and use a News page for the Blog (both set in the WP reading settings). And then I need to have the News (blog) page without the sidebar. But have the sidebar on single posts. I don’t see any way of doing this, because it says that the same sidebar settings are used on index.php and single.php. I had to rewrite the index.php in a child them to be able to do what the client wants.
Since there are so many settings for every possible archive page, it would make sense to have a separate setting for the sidebar for the blog and single post pages.
And I am not using WPBakery.
Sorry rlappare if I stole your thread. Perhaps your question was different from mine and I should have opened yet another thread.
You can have a homepage with no sidebar. Are you using WPBakery? Here is my homepage with no sidebar. http://www.satellitebeachdaily.com
