Hi,
If you want the same banner on all video popups the just set it in the theme panel > block settings > modal video popup – https://prnt.sc/MAPzgYe2os2a should be set using html tags as in the image I provided (similar to banner for ads – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/)
Hi,
This option can be configured for individual blocks and grids using tagDiv Composer:
https://prnt.sc/ktDPdXsOdwJd
Alternatively, you can set it globally from the Theme Panel: https://prnt.sc/MAPzgYe2os2a
You can also add an image/banner there, which will be displayed under the videos shown in blocks with popup enabled: https://prnt.sc/dVyhsT_a617L
Hi,
Please edit the homepage using tagDiv Composer and select the block that displays the latest products. In the General tab, check if there is a number set in the Offset field. If a number is set, it will skip that number of products—for example, if it’s set to 3, the block will skip the latest 3 articles and display the ones after them.
What you should do is remove any number in that field and leave it empty. This will ensure the block displays all the latest products without skipping any.
Hi,
The tagDiv Standard Pack, as the name suggests, includes the old theme templates. These templates cannot be edited on the frontend and only offer limited control through the theme panel, where you can enable or disable certain elements.
They are based on an older code structure (from several years ago, before the transition to Cloud Templates), and unlike the newer system, they load all CSS and JS files regardless of whether those elements are actually used.
If you are using Cloud Templates, there is no need to keep the Standard Pack plugin enabled. After disabling it, check your website:
If you don’t see any shortcodes, it means no standard templates or elements are in use, and you can safely keep the plugin disabled (or even remove it).
If you do see shortcodes, I recommend re-enabling the plugin. Then, using the Theme Builder, replace those old elements (for example, swap them with Flex Blocks). Once everything is updated, you can disable or remove the plugin.
This way, tagDiv Composer and Cloud Templates will load only the necessary CSS and JS for each page/template, improving overall performance.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are referring to the word “Africa” between the images, please edit the page using tagDiv Composer and select the text: https://prnt.sc/Qx2_fH2qKhNW
This text might be a separate element. If that’s the case, you can simply drag and drop it to the desired position. However, it could also be the title of another element (some elements allow you to set a custom title for the block). In that situation, you will need to remove the existing text and add a Title element in the location where you want it to appear.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to edit the Big Grid 3 block on mobile, unfortunately, there are no options available. What you could do is use CSS to increase the size of the grids so there is more space and the images can be seen a bit better.
.home .td_block_big_grid_3 .td-big-grid-post {
height: 300px;
}
Set the above css in the theme panel > custom code > advance css in the phone section. You can adjust the height numerically.
Hi,
Those ads can be replaced/removed using tagDiv Composer, edit teh page/template and look for the ad box element, usually in the ad box is set in image ad a banner that can be removed or you can replace. Also, check if you have any ad blockers in use, if you use one, please disable it and check again in tagDiv Composer.
I have narrowed this down to the “TagDiv Standard Pack” plugin that is part of the theme. When TagDiv Standard Pack is disabled, the duplicate block disappears.
How can I fix this issue?
For more clarity, I am running Newspaper 12.7.5 and WordPress 6.9.4

I’m running the latest version of Newspaper and WordPress (using WordPress.com hosting). I’m currently working on optimizing my page for improved performance. The page is alpha.roadtovr.com.
And issue I’ve spotted is that there is a huge block of custom CSS files which is duplicated in the page source under “Custom CSS – generated by TagDiv Composer”. You can see here that these are an exact match of each other back to back:
This is present despite disabling all caching/minification/concatenation options that I have access to. It exists on every single page of the site, regardless of the body content of the page.
I can’t tell for certain but it seems this could be a bug with the theme itself?
Hi,
I tested the website on a few gadgets we have and it seems to be ok on all of them – https://i.imgur.com/oT8ezBg.png
To add a bit of button style on the cart page, you can use this custom css:
.cart .wc-block-cart .wc-block-cart__submit-container a
{
background-color: #17c57a;
color: #fff;
border-radius: 4px;
border: 1px solid transparent;
}
.cart .wc-block-cart .wc-block-cart__submit-container:hover a
{
background-color: #0fa062;
text-decoration: none;
}
Hi,
Thank you for the update and for sharing your findings! You’re correct, what happened is that AdBlock was blocking ad elements, which made it seem like they weren’t removable. Once AdBlock is disabled for your site, everything works as expected.
This is entirely due to the browser extension, not the theme. We’ll consider adding a note in our documentation to prevent this confusion in the future.
Thank you!
By the way, adblock was not blocking the ads on the actual website initially, they showed up, but it did block them from the getgo in the composer and cloud template files when editing them. You might wanna add a note about that in some of your help files regarding ads, not entirely sure why it behaves like that, but it was driving me absolutely insane. Today it randomly updated and also blocked them on the website, and I initially thought the problem had fixed itself, but double checked in a different browser and noticed they were still there. When I turned off adblock for the domain, they came back, and also appeared in the composer.
Wait I think I figured it out… I think AdBlocker was blocking your ads even in the WordPress cloud template editor o0 I turned it off because it started blocking them on the site, and now I can see them in the editor. Wild!
Hi,
I just purchased your theme (Newspaper) yesterday, and have generally had no problem setting it up.
However, I’m having a somewhat serious issue where your own ads show up no matter what, even though I’ve disabled all ads in the Theme Panel, as well as gone over the page (front page, posts, etc.) and there are no ad blocks on those pages.
I should add that I’m working on the template NewsWeek.
I’ve been stumped by this for 2 days now, and feel like there are no options I haven’t gone over. I’ve double and triple checked that all ads are disabled (I don’t run any ads) in the Theme Panel under ads. All the way down, all disabled, for everyone. I’ve checked the individual pages as well, and there are no ad blocks. I’ve cleared the cache several times.
But your ads linking to themeforest keep being there. What am I doing wrong here?
Hi,
Articles that are displaying the “EXCLUSIVE” tag on blocks are articles that are locked using the tagDiv Optin builder to articles lock – https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/ – https://i.imgur.com/KtiKFIo.png – https://i.imgur.com/k9L7hZi.png
Thank you!
My site is http://www.foundmyjam.com and I cannot access the right sidebar menu that allows me advanced options. For instance if I am updating/creating a new post, when I edit a block of text (for example) there is a right side bar menu that lets me choose advanced options like appearance, font size, color etc. That menu is gone and does not show up and I cannot figure out how to get it to show up. There is also another problem… this same menu would allow me the ability to “unpublish” an article and now I can’t do that… this menu was there to give options to do a whole host of things and now it is gone and editing and building posts is compromised.
Thanks Calin! Another thing: How do I set an exclusive label text for individual posts? The block setting shows the label option but nothing appears.
Hello Calin,
Thank you so much for your help. I truly appreciate it.
That’s what I thought would be the case. However, I have another question: what is a shortcode element or block?
I don’t see that in the TagDiv options.
Best,
Marcos.
Hi Marcos,
Our theme do not have this kind of functionality, but it can be achieved using an extra plugin, something like:
– Feedzy RSS Feeds
– WP RSS Aggregator
https://prnt.sc/noEU2vUl2rpq
1. Open tagDiv Composer
2. Add a Shortcode block or shortcode element
3. Paste the RSS shortcode from the plugin
Example: [feedzy-rss feeds=”https://englishsite.com/feed” max=”5″]
Hey everyone,
I hope you are doing well.
I’m reaching out with a quick question regarding my website, and I hope you can help me.
I run a very successful baseball website called Elemergente.com. It’s mostly in Spanish, but we are looking to launch an English version. My question is: can I add a block in the Newspaper theme that displays the most recent news from another website?
I mean… is it possible to add a block like this, but instead of the news coming from the Spanish website, have it come from the English one?

Is it possible to do that?
Thank you,
Marcos
Hi Daniel,
The Newspaper theme does not provide this functionality. What you’re describing is closer to advertisement/impression tracking rather than standard article tracking.
By default, Newspaper only controls how articles are displayed in blocks (latest posts, specific categories, etc.), but it does not track how often those blocks are shown.
Hello,
we are seeing an issue with the Newspaper theme where arbitrary ?p= query parameters are accepted on paginated archive pages.
### Examples:
* https://www.4kfilme.de/page/15/?p=test
* https://www.womeninadria.com/page/15/?p=blabla
### Behavior:
* Any ?p= value (even invalid strings) still renders a normal archive page
* No redirect or 404 is triggered
* Multiple URL variants return identical content
### Impact:
* Duplicate URLs are indexed by Google
* “Duplicate, Google chose different canonical” warnings in Search Console
### Question:
Is this expected behavior, and is there a recommended way to handle or block such query parameters to avoid duplicate content?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I have a question: I use Matomo Analytics and would need a way to track how often an article was displayed as a content teaser. In other words, the total number of impressions of the article in blocks (whether on the homepage, sidebar, landing pages, category pages, etc.). I would like to be able to inform customers who book an advertorial how often their article was displayed somewhere on the site. Can Newspaper do this natively in combination with Matomo, or is there a way to set this up? If not, could your developers program a plugin or something similar, or set this up in a sustainable way?
All the best,
Daniel
Hi,
You can explore all our demos here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=all and choose the one that best matches your image sizes and overall layout.
If the issue only affects the single post template, it can be adjusted quickly and easily. However, if changes are needed across the entire site, it’s definitely possible, but it will require a bit more work—each flex block may need to be adjusted individually to ensure the images display properly.
Also, if you can share a link to your website, I’d be happy to take a closer look and suggest the best solution. In some cases, it might be enough to regenerate the images or change the thumbnail size used in the blocks.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m wondering if someone can help. In my TD composer I have a block, “Block 1” which is built of two columns. Left column is Module 4, a query showing a single article. Right column has four queries (single posts) of Module 6. Module 4 shows the comment count, the Module 6 posts do not. In global options (Theme panel –> Block settings –> Meta info for Modules/Blocks), comment count is turned on. Is there a way to add it to the Module 6 divs in that block?
Thanks!
