If you are talking about the Visual composer frontend option, unfortunately the theme does not work well with this feature so the developers decided to exclude this option from the theme. You could enable the frontend editor by removing this code from the theme td_wp_booster_functions.php file found in the theme folder->includes->wp_booster – https://www.screencast.com/t/Xp3wnzNx but it will not work properly if you have tagdiv blocks on your pages. If you want to use a frontend editor you can try the additional plugin TagDiv composer when it will be made available, as it is currently in development state.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. The ajax filters are fully tested and work will all of our blocks of the theme and should work without any problems. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results.

Each block is different, and it contains a combination of modules which use different thumb sizes – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ Also here is more information about how the cropping of the feature images works – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/ In your case from what I can see when the post has a featured image set, the module gets smaller in size somehow when it should remain the same. Try to use your browser inspector and check the thumbnail size for a block and module where this happens – https://www.screencast.com/t/kOTSIpm6kN and compare it to what it should be in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/PyZlIubvU Or if you could provide a link to your site we can take a look at this. In most of the cases any image or thumb related problem is caused by a plugin, so you could try also to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and see if it still happens.

Unfortunately the theme api is not covered by the theme support as it represents customization. Maybe you did not create the code properly. I can’t say for sure. Try to download the pre-made plugin from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/ and see if the video issue is still present with our premade plugins. Please download the top one as there are 2 versions. The second one is for older theme versions. (unless you use newspaper 6.5 or older)

I suppose that you want to change the thumb sizes for Block 7, right? Sorry, but please notice that our theme does not have any such an option for it and if you want to change our Blocks, you should do it yourself because this is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! As a hint, you should edit the td_config.php core file to achieve this.

Sorry but our theme has no such element that can provide a random assortment of images. Sorry. You can search for a plugin that can maybe provide such features. Our theme blocks can only provide posts, not simple images. The image box element was created to show images with a custom link but there is no random images option. Sorry

The blocks are made from modules and you can control the excerpt length on each of the modules.
