Hello khabor,

I have checked your website and I saw that your blocks and your sidebars are displaying fine. Please notice that to the mobile mode, the sidebars will appear only after your blocks, to the bottom of the homepage because this is the theme behaviour -> http://screencast.com/t/bXY80TjZ
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your problem, provide some useful screenshots so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,
That block is translated through the translations section of the theme panel as it is predefined content that comes with the footer style and it cannot be changed from the theme settings. Please search for BÀI XEM NHIỀU in the translations section of the theme panel.
If you want to change it;s settings, this cannot be done as it is a predefined block. If you want to have a standard block and access to the block settings in the footer, you must chose one of the empty footer styles and add content in the footer 1 2 and 3 section of the WP widgets area: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you!

Hi,

I instal Newspper7 yesterday and try to do something with this theme. I have a problem with Visual Composer.
1 – Should I see some editor or only code to VC when I try to change something on page?

[vc_row full_width="" parallax="" parallax_image=""][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block_trending_now limit="5"][td_block_big_grid_1 td_grid_style="td-grid-style-1" sort="featured"][td_block_14 category_id="" limit="3" custom_title="PROMOWANE" td_filter_default_txt="All" ajax_pagination="next_prev" sort="order_posts"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

2 – Can I put some cutom post type in to VC? Ex. events from The Events Calendar plugin?

Regards,
Daniel

Hi,
That’s the thing, you can’t. If there is no visual composer, there are no blocks. You cannot use blocks on the mobile theme. If you want to use blocks, please remove the mobile theme plugin and use the standard responsive version of the theme. The mobile theme does not use visual composer, blocks or other resource consuming elements in order to have top loading speeds. It;s a bit of a design vs speed choice. If you want to have complex design using blocks, sliders, etc., go with the responsive version. If you want to have speed, go with the mobile theme.
Thank you!

I have issued with the popular post block that is at the end of the page. ( one of 3 blocks there).
It never changed since the day I have it on. Those 3 article have the date as December 21, 2015, January 9, 2016, and January 21, 2016.

I don’t know where is that block to access in order to review the setup. The name of the bloc has been translated to “Bai Xem Nhieu”, but I cannot locate where is that bloc to review it. It can be viewed at https://chantroimoimedia.com
Please help.

Hello sourabh grover,

If you want to have your own sidebar, please notice that you can create it and customize it as your desire. First of all, you will have to create a new sidebar from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3wExeik7uh and then, from widgets area, you will have to add what type of blocks or elements you want using the Drag and Drop method, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/1fsTtAXWv -> http://screencast.com/t/1Owo6WB7R For more information about what you can create your sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

I think I understand what you’re saying. But the link https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ I do not get what I want. It has helped me to understand that does not work with copy-paste.

Now, I wanted to know what would be the html for [tagDiv] Block.

For example, in my homepage for mobile I want to put [td_block_slide autoplay = “10” category_id = “369” limit = “3” custom_title = “” header_color = “# 467524”] and [td_block_13 custom_title = “Latest Forecasts” category_id = “26” limit = “3”]
Logically if I copy in Mobile Editor not work.

As I translate html for Mobile Editor?

Hello avicabessa,

I suppose that you want to add your ads after every post when you are using the Blog mode (front page displays your latest posts), right? So, if you want to do that, you will have to use the do_shortcode method, create the shortcode using the Visual Composer and then add it in the loop.php file. First of all, you will have to add your custom ad code in your Custom Ad 1 area from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/8960iRYbP and then, using this snippet of the code > echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');
This will have to be added like this -> http://screencast.com/t/b43jvDsyt and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/nZHwT04z3

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Try that. I’ve activated everything there. The special characters are still messed up.

When scrolling down, the new items added using the infinite load to the block show up correctly. Only the initial ones are affected by this problem.

Hi,

No, the Big Grid blocks are not sliders and thee is no option for this sorry! Only if you use Big Grid Slider or iOS Slider you will have this functionality – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/

Thanks!

Hi,

You can block the header ad from the code. Add a condition here – http://screencast.com/t/KQjX2vTAWXpG
http://pastebin.com/cwh8Hq7Z Try to replace the code with the one provided(make a backup of your current file) – http://screencast.com/t/Ao1vPbCNw

Hi,

I’m not quite sure how you want it exactly. As I understand it you want to place 3 block 7 elements inline (on a 3 column layout I assume) on all posts. For this you have to use a do_shortcode function and place the visual composer shortcodes in side it. The place the code in each post template you want to use the blocks on. If this is what you are looking for: http://screencast.com/t/EYW900UWqW then you can create the layout you want inside a page and then access classic mode and text mode and copy the shortcodes. Thne use them inside the do_shoprtcode function like so:

and place the code above the breadcrumb on each single-template.php file: http://screencast.com/t/zi1HZRMS

I hope this helps.

Hi,
In our site we have some posts with more than 100 comments. The problem is that each comment is too large (generally are explanations with more than 200 – 300 words), so I want to ask you for a little help if is possible.

Every new user has to scroll a lot to get down to the comment box, so I’ve thought to add an anchor text “Add your comment” just to the right of the text “100 Comments” like this:

100 Comments | Add your comment

I made the change into includes/wp_booster/comments.php on the line 32:
<h4 class="<?php echo $td_css_cls_block_title ?>"><span><?php echo $td_comments_no_text?></span> | <u>Add your comment</u></h4>

I want to ask a professional: is bad this change?, negatively affect something on SEO?, it has to be done otherwise?

Thank you very much for your time and kindness.
P.D.: I know very well that this question does not belong or is not covered by your support.

I cannot post image/screenshot here but my visual composer says I need to buy license if I want to activate visual composer. so without licensed visual composer I cannot edit any block and I even cannot see any blocks there to edit? So I cannot follow instruction to do my homework then.

Hello halcoolllc,

If you are referring to the Recent Posts from Visual Composer element, please notice that you can change the title of it when you edit this block, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/bry2Vi5i Also, please notice that you must not buy any Visual Composer license because this will come bundled every time with the latest update. If this is not what you mean and you need more assistance in this regard, please provide some useful screenshots where you can identify what you want to change and you can provide your website so I can inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello thanop,

All methods of posts sorting could be found in Block settings, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/cBu3Hz1wVXN For more information about block settings, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

This is not what you mean, provide more details.

Thanks.

inside visual composer I ddint see anywhere we can go and edit the blocks. The composer needs to purchase? I thought you guys already did it and I can just use it, right? Please let me know。

Hello,
The block most likely has a custom title set to it as there is no recent post predefined element. Please edit the widget/block and change it’s title whether it’s a sidebar element: http://screencast.com/t/wSkeIfy06bp or added in visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/6kFODbgZkhqP
Please read this guide to learn more about block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial
Thank you!

Hello,
Our theme blocks can be made to show pages by changing the post type in the block setting to page like so: http://screencast.com/t/Yc9GkaCbaa In this way you can filter pages based on ID in specific blocks on the homepage. You can assign featured images to pages exactly like you do on posts: http://screencast.com/t/jN2QttvgC
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately the slides in our theme use thumbnails to display content so the height will always be the same height: http://screencast.com/t/jaV43xY1 There is no dynamic height set to the block. If you want it to show the original size of the image, you will have to create it custom. Unfortunately there is no easy solution i can provide for this. You will have to hire a freelancer to help out with the code.
Thank you!

Hi,

1) Our theme blocks can be set to display other post types including pages if you enter the “page” post type in the post type field of the block settings like so: http://screencast.com/t/Yc9GkaCbaa

2) Unfortunately big grids cannot be made to slide. There are only 2 slider blocks available if you want sliding elements: http://screencast.com/t/f8FuiTFOm A standard grid cannot be set to slide.
Alternatively you can use revolution slider for more complex slides.

Thank you!

Hi,
In order to create a playlist element, you have to select the youtube playlist item from visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/V61tZPM0VI and then add your video ID’s from youtube in the block settings like so: http://screencast.com/t/MexiI0jYSm result: http://screencast.com/t/FQSa56Q7x
Thank you!
