If you want the same style like in the slider, then you can copy-paste the style of that flex block 1. Just edit the page with TagDiv Composer, add a new flex block, right-click on the element from the slide and copy style, then on the new flex block right-click and paste style.

I have been creating unique lengthy excerpts for some of my blog posts in order to have less dublicated contents on my site.
When I use a block grid for the posts on a page filtered by specific tag slug I set the excerpt length by 25 but I get the full excerpt displayed instead (whatever exerpt length I make while creating posts).
Can you help, pleasae?

When you are using the AJAX CATEGORIES DROPDOWN on blocks, then you can not exclude the posts from categories that you do not what, that option will simple load all posts from the categories that are set there in ajax categories dropdown.

In the example preview, the 3 posts in the slider and the 3 posts below in the Flex Block are the same stories. But on my page, there are different posts in the slider and the Flex Block. We are using Newspaper 10.4, tagDiv Composer 2.8.
We have integrated other social platform with wordpress. Integration plugin hooks in with new comment number calculation method with:
add_filter( ‘get_comments_number’, array( $someobject, ‘somemethod’ ) );
Logic is simple: sum of WP comments and other social media platform comments (via APIs).
Newspaper correctly displays comments number when in the_loop (home page for example) or in the_post (single post).
But when the home page section is built using block (template: global header template) it is only showing number of WP comments (so doesnt count comments from other platform).
Looks like the hook is not working in this block?
Please advise how can this be fixed or what should be checked?

This should work but my recommendation is to re-create the blocks just to make sure that during the transition everything will work smoothly.

Yes, the blocks will only be shortcodes if you disable the standard pack.
It would be a good idea to change with flex block if you no longer want to have a standard pack plugin activated.
You can disable it because the settings will remain set, but be careful not to delete from shortcodes when editing the page without activating the plugin.
You can try to create a new page where you just add flex blocks and see the result.

You can also set there a filter for posts by writing there the ID of the category which you want to include and you can write -ID for the one you want to exclude.

This is different – I’m calling for author to show in Flex Block 1 preview. It used to but doesn’t anymore (in iPad Portrait – in other viewports it shows ok). So I suspect a bug or corruption in my theme. Waiting advice from support.
