For the problem with ajax, please check the untested plugins that can be in conflict with our theme, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also make sure that you or your host do not have some security module or a firewall that is blocking the theme or theme plugins.
If you want to apply the background color only category pages, for category tags, then you can use the options from theme panel (without cloud template) -> https://i.imgur.com/qnC5aS2.png -> https://i.imgur.com/XxPH980.png if you are using a cloud template, you need to check the settings for style set on the category siblings -> https://i.imgur.com/199rSph.png

What you want is to have some more control over the categories template, unfortunately this can not be achieve with the standard category templates -> https://i.imgur.com/d1ycAMf.png, you need to use cloud category templates for tagDiv Cloud Library, these can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can set on grids and blocks the settings you want.

I am having issues building the home page. For instance, it won’t allow me to delete blocks when I press delete and nothing shows to the right or no header.

I am using the ‘Gossip’ demo for my new site.
In the demo using the page builder / tagDiv composer, supposedly I can select which categories I would like posts to appear from in the blocks across the page.
However when I try to change some of the categories in the blocks a message saying ‘no posts’ appears. The categories do have posts in them though.
When I select ‘All Categories’ then random posts appear. However this is not what I want. I want posts from specific categories to appear.
What am I doing wrong??
Please explain how it works, or even send me a link to where it explains in the documentation as I can’t find it.

This button has it’s greatest use in mobile. I can’t understand why they would not have it showing, it always was before in Newspaper 8. But case solved!
I think it’s not meant to display on mobile devices (all themes).

i have installed newspaper theme and customizing using builder. All is working fine. i am changing the mobile layout i want to do flexblock imgs to fullwidth on mobile and title,excerpt in container width. how can i achieve this? i have inspect the blocks that has left,right padding if i remove that all the elements of block go to fullwidth, but i just want to make imgs fullwidth on mobile.

And as far as the Youtube display, I have entered the correct information in the social media block as well as the API in the Theme. Hi – loving the Newspaper theme but wondering: Can I add a tag to an image in a Flex Block based on a custom value from a post?
What I currently have in the Flex Block is an image with a category tag overlaid on the image with the corresponding category of the post. So the article belongs to the category XYZ and the image has a tag overlaid on it that says XYZ.
What I want to do is replace that XYZ tag with a custom value from the post (in this case, it’s a custom value called ‘source’).
Would appreciate any help you can give.

So you want to set there an ad block, you can do it using tagDiv Composer and ad box -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/ on this element you can choose to use a code set in theme panel in ads -> https://i.imgur.com/CygD5Ys.png you can set a banner (image ad) -> https://i.imgur.com/oYFyKyu.png or you can set a code that will display some ads -> https://i.imgur.com/LDcAoNf.png
