How exactly are you building the posts? I see there is only one paragraph in the post content and the rest is code blocks of some kind and snippet boxes. That would be all there is in the post content from what I can see. I don’t know what is missing.

Try creating a new post as a test, write your post in it normally, check if all the post content is displayed then.

Hi,

Please use English as these topics may be of some use to other theme users. Many topics contain solutions to various problems and issues, and also useful information which can be searched for by users.

That would depend on the sidebar in question. If it is a widget sidebar it can be edited in Appearance->Widgets
https://www.screencast.com/t/2cq4V5Nx58
https://www.screencast.com/t/j4UwC9G2X7c
Or maybe it is simply a row split with in content + sidebar in which there are elements
https://www.screencast.com/t/dXZ7dbC1A
In this case you can edit the element directly in the composer. Here are some composer and block settings guides
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Hi,

For category tags the flex blocks has settings, so you can hide them if needed. Either use the general setting in Theme panel->Block settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/3p9bOiPqbGwp
Or the individual settings per block, in the tagDiv composer block settings, layout tab
https://www.screencast.com/t/VZHtkUd55C
I believe that is what you wanted to do. The settings are nor per a specified category, but per block or in general.

Thanks

Hello,

I’m not sure what padding you are referring to but please provide a link to your site so we can see the padding you mention.

As for the block headers, you can change their color from the theme colors section of the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/r2c9j7y8

Thank you!

Hi,

That would not be difficult using the tagDiv composer. First please check all the available block types
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Check the tagDiv composer tutorial
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Switch through all the blocks and choose the ones you want. Create a page and split a row to a similar layout as that website
https://www.screencast.com/t/UDQxWzcXf3e
Now place blocks in these columns. Any block or grid can be sorted by latest
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Filer posts by categories and sort them as well, set custom block titles, choose block headers
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
Limit the post number displayed by a block, choose pagination if you ant for the blocks. Also the fonts can now be set for individual blocks (check the style tab).There are many settings, all one needs is some getting used to as with all things.

Thanks

Oh. Seems like I misunderstood the function. I thought the switch will hide these “hidden” categoires on blocks on any pages (like the home page), but it says “category pages”. I think it would be nice, probably nobody would like to display their hidden categorieas on their start page 🙂

Hello,

If the ad comes from youtube, then only an ad blocker can stop the ads. The theme cannot stop ads from youtube.

Thank you!

Hey,
here is a minor but annoying bug: the Flexbox block (great features by the way there!) displays ‘hidden’ categories. That is ones that were set hidden in the Theme panel’s ‘Categories’ section (‘HIDE CATEGORY ON POST AND ON CATEGORY PAGES’ switch). Probably the switch is not implemented there.

Cheers,

Sz.

Hi,

Only blocks have multiple pagination options, and default category pages. The rest of the pagination would be only numbered pagination

Hello Bogdan B.

Thanks but I think there is a mistake: There is no “infinite loading+load more” option / I can’t see that option in this template cloud (loop block).

https://fotos.subefotos.com/6b50aa9762389bb03f9808b329f21b7bo.jpg

If I select “normal pagination”, “read more” never appears.

If I select “no paging”, even if I put a maximum number of posts, “read more” never appears.

I mean, I can’t get the “read infinity” with this boton?, am I setting something up wrong?

cheers

Hello,

Sorry but you cannot set fonts globally. The global fonts are found in the theme panel under the fonts section: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
The individual fonts are found in the tagdiv composer plugin settings for each block in particular.

Thank you!

Hi,

Now all I need would be an example of a post that does not belong where it is displayed, when possible. All the blocks and grids once filtered will only display posts according to that filtering. So for example if you were to choose the “Travel” category as a filter in a block
https://www.screencast.com/t/5mjBSsCxee
Then all the posts the block displays have to be included in that category. That would be the intended functionality.

Thanks

Hello!

This message appears only on one page after I make a change. Apparently she “corrupted.” I deleted another page for this same problem after a change, having to create it again from the beginning.

She was a normal page. A homepage that worked without any problem. After adding some new blocks, this error appeared.

Few blocks, I’ve created more than 50 pages much more complex.

The same error appears with the new Newspaper update (8
8), with pre-designed templates.

Hi,

That would depend on the owners of the videos, their owners have the option to monetize their channels and serve ads or not. Those ads could be disabled for you by installing an Ad-blocker extension for your browser, but not in general for everyone who watches the video.

Thanks

Hi,

Let’s try and identify the problem here. I believe you don’t want to display that background image for the related articles section, only for other blocks
https://www.screencast.com/t/IcdaPgqzTg
It can be removed by adding this code in addition to the one you are currently using
https://www.screencast.com/t/ryvSlN00L6
If you need something more please let me know

.td-craft-ideas .td-related-title.td-block-title {
background-image: none;
}

Hi,

Infinite loading is available for block and category pages. You could create a page and place a block of your choosing in it, filter it as you wish or let it display all your posts. Select infinite loading for it and also how many posts to display initially
https://www.screencast.com/t/hebLBgVK5
https://www.screencast.com/t/pysLgIOge
This would be a solution, you cold give it a try. Check out all the available blocks here

Also the block settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Hello,

You can add a tag with a minus “-” in front of it like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/HfjVnl8sGF
This way, all of the posts that have that tag assigned, will not show up in the block.

Thank you!

Hello,
There is no general fix as the issues are very different from one case to another. In some cases, you need to upgrade your memory allocation in wp-config to 256MB, other issues require this code added to the htaccess:
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

In some cases, the composer files were blocked by the firewall.
Every particular case needs the fix that applies in that specific case. There is no single issue where a general fix can be applied. Each case needs to be investigated and the proper solution provided for each case.

Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cpanel access so we can investigate your particular case and provide the solution that applies to you.

Thank you!

Hi.

Please notice that I purchased Newspaper theme at May 19th, and that I use demo (city news) with some changes.

I got an Envato notification about available update, but I’m afraid that I’ll lose my changes (added grid at frontpage, made changes to blocks (3 columns from 2 etc) and plan to change width to post pages.

Can you can check my website and let me know if updates are safe for me?

Thank you

Hi,

That will not be a problem, blocks and grids have such settings. Select from which category to display posts
https://www.screencast.com/t/jUiFtFOsuedY
Then only posts that are included in that category will be displayed.

The ajax filter will display by default all the categories when enabled. Add the category IDs you want and only those will be displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/RECxauzo
IDs can be seen here for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/TcusZNwfuVT
https://www.screencast.com/t/zfy6wWFER64G
When the categories in the ajax filter are clicked the block will be filtered accordingly.

More about block settings in this tutorial

Hello,

Please check the filtering for that block and see if there are any posts to show. Also check offsets or the unique articles setting as if you have duplicate posts, the unique articles will remove them. Please read this guide to learn how to set the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hi,

By default WordPress displays your posts in the frontage, sorted by latest. In this case if you want to keep using a blog style homepage, the module used to display the posts can be changed here
https://www.screencast.com/t/LN15HuYS
Also a sidebar can be set there if required.

You can alternatively create a page with the elements you want and set that as a static homepage (you are using one right now it seems)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

I see there are thumbnail problems, this happens when the theme is applied to existing content. In this case you can regenerate the thumbanils
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Hi,

@mmedia
This has not been implemented in the theme up to this moment. There would be other priorities at the moment. But it is noted and will be considered at a future time.

So if you want to remove the date for a specific block for the moment you would have to resort to some CSS
https://www.screencast.com/t/RUnybZHRTg
https://www.screencast.com/t/ctoYzhosCx7
Example code used here

.my_special_block .td-post-date,
.my_special_block .td-post-author-name span {
display: none;
}

Hi,

All the demos are made with the tagDiv composer, using theme blocks, grids etc. The demos used to be made with Visual composer previously, but they have been remade. The tagDiv composer is the main page builder provided with the theme. However Visual composer (now WPBakery) is still provided in the package.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
So there will be no problem creating pages with our page builder. Also there are many demos to choose from and install

Hi,

Entering 2 categories for example or more in a blocks category filter, will display posts that belong to each of them, not both or in all of them. Such a filter option is not available, please try to filter the blocks with their available settings
