Are there any plans to update the mobile theme so that it can be more customizable? I understand that the theme is already mobile responsive, but I’d like to create a mobile version of my site with same sized and evenly spaced blocks as you scroll down, similar to PopSugar’s mobile site. http://www.popsugar.com
Example: http://i64.tinypic.com/e13evb.png

Hi,
I am trying to recreate the feature story grid (3 big blocks) show in the Lifestyle theme here:https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_lifestyle/. Somewhere I read to use Grid 5 (not sure what grid 5 is) but it is not available as an option, only big grid 5 and those images are super small. How can I create this?
Thanks
On the Home page, I have Block 23 to show 4 posts per page. I also have Unique Articles enabled for the page. However when I click the Load More button, the 4th post repeats again after the load more button (essentially page 2.)
Note: The site is publicly available but has not been promoted or listed.

Good Morning!
I want to know how I can change the font color of the category in the photo below:

I was able to change the color of this block, but only by placing a custom CSS:

.td-what .td_module_3 .td-module-image .td-post-category {
color:#000;
}
Is it possible to put each category in a different color?
And there is problem with the Flex block 1 for fifth modules in the row with layouts 2/3+1/3, 1/3+2/3, 1/3+1/3+1/3, 7/12+5/12, 5/12+7/12, 1/4+3/4, 1/4+1/2+1/4, 1/4+1/4+1/4+1/4 for all layouts number limit post is 10
4 modules in row / limit post = 10 – http://prntscr.com/je0ivp – good
5 modules in row / limit post = 10 – http://prntscr.com/je0fpz – bad
6 modules in row / limit post = 10 – http://prntscr.com/je0j97 – good
Hello
I am having that fatal error on AMP while browsing from safari on an iPhone:

Any idea about how fixing it ?
Hello!
The site I’m working on requires an editorial workflow that has the need to select where a story will appear on the site.
Example: A “Top Story” is meant to be the first, large block on the homepage. Then other featured stories under it. After that, the typical news loop that is paginated and excludes the “Featured” stories. The “Top Story” won’t just be the latest “Featured” story.
I see the “Featured” category is hidden from users on the front end of the site and can be excluded from the loop. https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
When I make a sub category under “Featured” category, those stories are not hidden from the loop and the “Featured” category along with the sub category is visible on the front-end.
Is there a way to hide “Featured” and any child categories under it? It seems adding a child category and using it breaks the “Featured” functionality.
Maybe a bug? It would be great if we could have a set of categories to filter on that are hidden from the front end like “Featured” is currently.
Hope you have ideas on how I can do this. Thanks!
Hello! I am using the “title” shortcode element on my homepage and I have set the accent hover color to #9acd32 but the color does show when I hover. Will you please help me with this?
I am testing this under the first block under the slider labeled “Alerts”. I want the blue “read more” title to hover to green:
My question is a little vague, but let me explain.
At this point we have say demo 7. And have it modified to our taste (colors, additions, etc. etc.)
Now we have seen demo 2 and would like to implement some of the features (looks, banners, the way the homepage is set up, etc.) to our demo 7. (or.. take some of the features of demo 7 and implement that easily to demo 2). Now.. what is the easiest way to do this without disrupting a lot? I guess I can take apart the homepage of demo 7 and see what I want to keep, switch to demo 2 and put stuff back… but.. what if it messes everything up?
From what I can see, the pages are made up out of building blocks. Is there an easy way to see a homepage of demo 7 and see how that is made up, so that we can implement that to our current homepage?
(without just clicking on demo 2 and hit install and overwrite our whole site with a totally new look (which would trash some of the features we’ve added manually)
Hope it made sense.. and that you can help me here!
Hello Surfaceru,
Unfortunately, does not exist another version for sharing buttons than the one present in the theme. This functionality has been fully checked and it seems to work as properly. If you want to implement other sharing buttons you should implement it yourself through the code because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Unfortunately, please notice that we do not recommend to edit the predefined style of the blocks because you can easily break them, sorry! If you want to do this, you should do it yourself or please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you.
Another alternative for you would be to use the Big Grid 4 and hide the below thumbnails, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FrkqpryFDf1s
Use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
.td_block_big_grid_4 .td_module_mx10{
display:none;
}
Sorry but the Big Grid 2 does not have any such a load more button. I do not know what kind of changes do you have made on this but please notice that we cannot provide custom work at the moment, unfortunately!
Thanks.
sidebar to the right of the block name “Block Bad Sidebar”
Hello bobbymc,
Try the code below ->
.td_block_big_grid_fl_9 .td-post-author-name{
display:none;
}
The result -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wBU6UoYrj4
Thanks.
Hi,
It is unusual that when placing the block in your case in a split row, block 4 seems to display 3 modules, this block will only display 3 modules when placed on a full row
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-4/
Blocks should only be placed in these layouts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qSPrVFLrZp
If placed in a different row layout they might not be displayed properly.
We could take a look if you could provide admin login details by email at contact@tagdiv.com we will investigate. Include a link to this topic in the email.
That sorting option requires post views to be active, I see they are on your website. Now you must enable an option in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
As soon as you enable that option, the count will begin. Posts will gather views and they will begin showing up in the block based on the page views they get. Note that this sort will not work with caching plugins.
Thanks
1. Block 14 will always look like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-14/
On a full row it will display 3 modules, it cannot display 4. For now only the flex block has options to select the number of modules per row and can take many forms
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
2. By default when enabled, the ajax filter will display all the categories. You cannot exclude categories but you can control the categories that appear there. Enter category IDs in the required field and only they will be displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5bZs3Vebd8o
3. Blocks should only be placed in these row layouts to guarantee that they will display properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gt4sgP6Qahe5
The other row layouts are meant for multi-purpose elements.
The smart sidebar on pages can be used only with the 2/3 + 1/3 row split on pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Once the class is entered as mentioned the sidebar will remain fixed as you scroll down the page. that would be the intended behaviour. If there is a problem please provide a link to that page so we can take a look.
I’m not an admin here but I’ve had a similar problem following other updates.
Try clicking “Edit with TD Composer” at the top of the homepage – that is if you built it the page with TD Composer – if not, then you need to.
If you did, then when in TD Composer you should see the problem or delete that block and reinsert it again.
If that doesn’t work make sure you have the latest TD Composer update.
Worked for me – good luck 🙂

Sorry Simion, I ment the main bar title. not The theme blocks. When I scale the window the titles won’t get smaller and get beneath eachother : http://www.screencast.com/t/aRf7JeSe
Desired result : http://www.screencast.com/t/vZLUFq2nZm
thanks.
Hello,
I’m having some issues regarding the TD Composer. When I try to add a Block 4 in preview mode it works properly but as soon as I update and save the changes it breaks. I’ve added a screenshot so you can see what’s going on. I also tried to clear cache on server and browser but the error persists.
The second issue is when I try to set under Block 11 -> Filter -> Sort order -> Popular (last 7 days). It won’t show only the post from the last 7 days instead, it shows me posts from 2 months ago.
The URL is: https://www.inspireme.hr/
Thanks.
I’ve a few question more.
1) It’s possible in block_14 add 4 columns?
2) How exclude category from ajax filter category which I don’t needed?
3) I have row with layout 3/4+1/4, How in 3/4 part apply block_19 with 2 columns, like is in layout 2/3+1/3?
Thanks.
Hi,
If you use Visual Composer on your site, please deactivate tagdiv composer plugin.
Please edit your td_block_text_with_title.php file and replace all the content with – https://pastebin.com/GyidRDHY It will remove the default text from frontent.
This fix was implemented also into the latest theme version 8.7.4 (released today).
Thanks!
Hi,
If that is a page and theme block, note that the font settings available in the tagDiv composer can be different by device. So you can set a font size for desktop
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BNzGapj9
And one for mobile – https://www.screencast.com/t/x1xjUvvAcxr
These settings are not available in WPBakery page builder.
If you use WPBakery you could use CSS to set differ font sizes by width, with media queries. An example topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-manage-the-fontsize-for-better-responsive-text/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hello juanrod2005,
Maybe the thumbnails have not been generated properly, please try to regenerate them. This is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Then clear all caching and CDN if used. If there is still a problem, provide a link to your website so we can take a look.
Thanks.
Hi,
@popacombr Hiding the header and footer are not required anymore, since the empty page template has been added and can be selected for the specific pages.
On pages you can now hide elements per device, with the tagDiv composer or WPBakery page builder. A related topic with more information here

Thanks
I looked closely at the Big grid 2 block, I can make changes to the files and reduce its height, but how can I add a load more button?
Hello. Updated theme Newsmag to the latest version, good update, thank you for your work. But I have questions:
1. I see that the share buttons on post take a very long time to load, sometimes they are not displayed. This may be due to the blocking of Google Font in Russia? How can this be avoided?
In another version I made new buttons to share directly to the file td_module_single.php, now need to make changes to the file td_social_sharing.php. How to do this? To reduce the load I think to use the share buttons from Yandex https://tech.yandex.ru/share/.
2. I like block 14 (td_module_mx1.php), but I want to have 2 large pictures to show (resolution 509×300 as in the top level of the block .td_block_big_grid_4 .td-big-grid-post-0). How can I do that? I created my own Grid Builder, but this plugin doesn’t work well with categories and comments.
That is the name of the category in my case
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YYSvO0czL
The code will look in the category header section and when it finds that category name it will color the tag, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/I0PadH2u
This code will not work on the homepage. All the tags on block modules have a predefined black color, while the hover will be the color you set for the block title background
– https://www.screencast.com/t/L5CxtNbieNy3
The default hover color of the tags will be the theme accent color set in the theme panel.
This would be a related topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/category-label-appearance-on-block-1/
Maybe there will be more options added for the category tags design in a future update, I believe it is added on our list.
