I’m facing a couple of issues with my WordPress site that I could really use some help with. First off, I’m using a newspaper theme along with the “SSL & Security: REALLY SIMPLE SSL” plugin. The problem is that at least once a month, the plugin flags the TagDiv Composer as high-risk during the “vulnerability scan: Site-wide, admin notification” and disables it every time. It’s becoming a bit of a hassle to deal with.
Secondly, I haven’t done any design updates on my site for almost a year, but recently I’ve been trying to spruce things up by editing the footer and header using TagDiv Composer. Unfortunately, I keep hitting a roadblock with a “404 file not found” error every time I try to make changes—even when working on a new page. Any ideas on what might be causing these issues?
With Redirection plugin, I’ve sent requests of /?author={any number} to a 404
regex is ^/(.*)author=(.*)
This should include nothing past the = character, but for some reason it does not.

In both modules, the colors of the CATEGORY TAG can be edited in the module layout.
On this page, I also have block 11 and unfortunately, I don’t know how to edit the colors of the CATEGORY TAG here. They are black, and I want them to be the same color as in Flex Block 5 and 1.

If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.

You have malware on the website because I can not access it. Please update to the latest version 12.6.7
If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from the Theme Forest account and download it.
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.

I had installed on my local machine. So you cannot access admin.
What might be the issue? What is the api that is executing while click on activate button?

I just received a reply from a developer, he stated that this most likely happens due to the fact that the disable lazyload option is used on the first image. What he suggested is to check if the situation happens only for that block or also for the rest and if it also happens on the mobile or only on the desktop, and if the situation is only ep that block then 99% is because of that option.

In 12.6.7 your devs fixed this issue with webp on loop blocks, which is good.
But this issue with Webp and Caching is not fixed.
– You previously said you were only able to replicate it once.
To easily replicate it – logout of your dev site and in a few minutes inspect the html with image that is meant to load webp. It will ignore webp and show jpg/png or whatever is used..
Also if you run it through https://pagespeed.web.dev/ the error “Serve images in next-gen formats” will be reported as the url of the shown image is not webp.

To increase page speed, I recommend checking which thumbnails you are using on your blocks. You might want to avoid having all of them enabled and optimize and regenerate images. You can use the EWWW Image Optimizer for image optimisation, and the OMGF plugin for fonts. Additionally, you can use the WP Rocket plugin.

For example, add a flex block in a post template, go to the filter tab of the element’s settings, and from the dropdown category filter, you can choose between Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags.
