Hi,
That depends on how you want to design the website. Most of the theme features are presented in the theme live demo
Here you can see all the blocks (use selection on the right)
Big grids
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
Full Big Grids
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
And there are many other elements available. Also there are many demos that you can preview here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
It all depends if you think that there are elements available in the theme to create what is needed and suited for that kind of website.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The theme is based on a three column layout, that is how the all the blocks are designed as well. Here you can see how all the blocks look in different layouts
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
There are blocks that can display more modules per columns for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-15/
2. It could be possible, but I cannot say for sure. On pages using the tagDiv composer you can achieve full width results, but not a user defined width. That could only be done with theme modifications or custom code.
We try to implement more and more options and features with each update, and the list of suggestions and user recommendations is increasing daily. It is hard for the developer team to decide what gets introduced as soon as possible and what gets delayed.
Thank you!
Hi,
That cannot be done, or it would require considerable modifications to make. The Big grid slide is designed to function as it is now. It will slide the whole Big grid, not just a module form the grid.
You could maybe use a Slide on two columns instead and a block of your choosing in the remaining column, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/owrtrWpVa
You can see how the slide looks here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
Thanks
Hello Frank,
Notice that you can choose this kind of sorting from Blcoks Settings, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ckhNIg9y31u For more information about this feature, please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank for your understanding!
Hi
I ended up removing the grid and replacing it with two blocks, so that’s why it’s responsive now. I’m aware of the problem with the ad. Thanks anyway
Thank you for the reply! Is not there a way to use one single dimension for everything? I often change the modules / blocks and it is difficult to regenerate images every time…
Thanks again for the answer!
Hello SL2,
I have inspected your footer section from your website and I saw that your Instagram block displays the three images, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0aiIpWPu5 It seems to work as expected. Try to clear all of your caches, browser caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks for the response Simion. I found that there is a plugin conflict with the latest version of the ‘widgets on pages’ plugin, which we’re using to display ad blocks in posts.
Is a fix possible, or do you have any alternative suggestions how we might get around this?
Thanks
Hi,
That would depend on the block or module where you want to make this customization. I cannot give you a code that would work on the whole website. Please provide a link to your website pointing to the location, and details about the block where you want to do this.
Thanks
Just made the switch to TDC. So far, so good here: http://polksports.com/. Still some work to do.
Some quick questions:
1) Any chance of offering something akin to block 4, but perhaps with four posts per row instead of three?
2) Any thoughts about offering a wider template at some point? I know having user-defined width is probably not planned, but any chance you might move a little wider soon.
Appreciate the continued solid product and all the hard work behind it.
Hello vinmigliore,
First of all, I will thank you for your interests in our theme! Notice that you can turn off the unused thumbs from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wppMtrbqEZ8 For more information about what kind of thumbs are used by modules/blocks, please check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MqGWrVBF
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Knux0r,
I have inspected your website and the YouTube player seems to work as expected. Where is the problem? Yes, you should use the YP Playlist and all of your desired videos should have to be added followed by commas. For more information about our Playlist, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-video-playlist/
Unfortunately, please notice that you cannot use YT Playlists to populate the blocks, sorry!
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
AND THE “Limit post number” OF THE BLOCKS DOESN’T WORK ANYMORE EITHER.
e.g, WE SET 6 BUT SHOWS 7 POSTS ON THE PAGE.
HELP.

Hi
I have the same problem. I’m not ready to upgrade the theme right now, can i just delete somehow this header ad block because i don’t use it for my ads?
URL is home-gid.com_
Here is photo, i showed on it the place i want to add a new block to.
Hi Catalin,
Please have a look at my site http://newstrack.com . What I did is I placed the heading of top section i.e TD Big Block Grid 6 . I like this look but as you can see the heading are not clickable. what should I do to make them clickable.
Thanks
The images on my homepage at http://www.bramptonist.com are not loading. They load fine in individual posts and even in my sidebar, but for some reason not in the blocks on my homepage. I have tried turning off lazyload to fix the issue but this has not worked. Any suggestions?
You trending block does not overlap anything but it does not work as well. This is because of this js error in your console:
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZjLrcCkbg4
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi, your theme is very nice and I’ve decided to buy it as soon as I got the money you needed. Unfortunately I was not perfectly aware of the block and module system and related images. My hosting plan has little space available and I can not afford a more powerful one, ending up to fill the entire space by just inserting few images that are resized for each block, creating approximately 15+ files for each one. Can I somehow disable the creation of all these files by using only one dimension that fits all blocks and modules?
I hope I have been as clear as possible.
Hi,
Please provide more details about the issue, and what exactly you are trying to achieve so we can help understand better.
If you want the blocks or grids to display posts that you want from specific categories, that can be done for each element.
Maybe this guide would be of help if that is the case
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi @SimionC.
Thanks! It worked, but on the last two blocks it still shows the rainbow colour. Any idea how to get rid of that or is that only on my end? I tried clearing caches etc.

Hi,
This is where the block is defined
– https://www.screencast.com/t/j5wHiHVcHQM
And the module of block 3
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6gMBmK0D
I could not say if the code you have will work, it may require more modifications to achieve something like that, if possible. Maybe it would be easier to think of a different way.
Thanks
Hi,
The error is displayed when you are not using the tagDiv composer editor. A solution would be to edit one of your theme files. Please copy the code provided here
– https://pastebin.com/kwhQw4NT
Then edit the td_block_text_with_title.php file from your theme (Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_text_with_title.php)
And replace all the found code with the one provided
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XziIqPVDEhbG
Then the error will not be displayed anymore, when the tagDiv composer is deactivated. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused for you. Please let us know if you have further problems.
Thank you!
Hi,
Then that could mean that the admin-ajax process is being blocked by the server. The theme makes multiple requests and this may be treated as a threat by the server.
Please contact your hosting and explain the situation and provide theme a screenshot of the error in the console. They should be able to fix the situation.
Thanks
Hello,
Single image blocks are the first to be affected if using both page builders at the same time. Please do not use both the visual composer and the tagdiv composer simultaneously. Please only use one or the other.
Thanks.
