Thank you for your anwser.
So I thinked a Way to get around the problem.
How can I add in the category page, before the posts view, a new Block (using one of the predefined blocks) with a specific Query that shows only the featured posts?
Hi,
I have block 3 on my main page. I would like to change its text alignment from right to left.
What would be the best way to do this?
Kind Regards
The target page with such buttons does not exist for the time being. It is being created. I want it to look like at 2 sites:

Now it is like this:

Html Code Widget
<div class="td_block_wrap td_block_social_counter td_uid_5_5947db83cdb04_rand td-social-style5 td-social-boxed"><h4 class="block-title"><span>Społeczność</span></h4><div class="td-social-list"><div class="td_social_type td-pb-margin-side td_social_facebook"><div class="td-social-box"><div class="td-sp td-sp-facebook"></div><span class="td_social_info">1,245</span><span class="td_social_info td_social_info_name">Fani</span><span class="td_social_button">Lubię</span></div></div><div class="td_social_type td-pb-margin-side td_social_youtube"><div class="td-social-box"><div class="td-sp td-sp-youtube"></div><span class="td_social_info">185</span><span class="td_social_info td_social_info_name">Subskrybujący</span><span class="td_social_button">Subskrybuj</span></div></div></div></div>
Hello hanakousuke,
On category pages, please notice that under the main category will be displayed the siblings’ category like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kokTLsgMC3 For more information about this feature, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/ and for posts, here you will bring the category post, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XEyAZnQcuznM Notice that the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to display the sub-category tag, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I have followed this guide –
https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/
To add new blocks and modules. However I want to replicate the layout of block 12 and 13. When I copy the code from these blocks the page only displays the header and no content.
Can anyone please advise what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Hello Edragon,
I have made some tests on my website with a smart list and I did not encounter any problem with the featured image on the blocks. It seems to be right displayed, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vOpsy2M4F -> https://www.screencast.com/t/J7du1kpQJt Also, I have checked your source page and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to remove all of them, leaving just our required plugins to be active, clear all of your caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello sil2,
After you have turned off the blocks which you do not want to use, you should install the Force Regenerate plugin to remove all of these images created earlier. Most likely, you have 5 different images created because you have enabled some blocks which use 5 different image size. Turn off ALL of them and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Dear Team, How to show post view count on block template > https://www.screencast.com/t/clGT2ZU9LJ6 i want to show here > https://www.screencast.com/t/V86ciPgfsSQt
Thanks
Hello jaypee,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problem with your images on blocks. All of these seems to work as expected and I did not saw any image which does not fit the thumb. Please provide some useful screenshots with the problem so I can identify it. Also, before this, you should use Thumbnail Regenerate or Force Regenerate to fix this problem if this will appear.
Thanks for the message!
Thank you, Catalin for your answer, but this is not a case.
You create all those copys for EVERY uploaded image. Some of my posts have up to 50 images! Should youy just do it for feautured image ONLY? Should it be generated only on post save not any file upload? I was thinking to add a hook to rename futured images on post save. Add, let say, “FUTURED_” to the file name. And loop over all files in “upload” folder ones a day (cron job) and delete all thumbs for files where name <> “FUTURED_”. But this is quite complicated. I cannot just rename, I will have to recreate all thumbs again….. oh….
This is a big issue for us. “upload” folder becomes really heavy!
Any help? Onece again, I already disabled all posible blocks. There are only a few left but anyway, wordpress creates 3 copys and your theme still creates 5 more for EVERY image.

Hi,
There should be no problem creating a similar design for a block. You just need to place the block you want on a row, then stretch the row
– https://www.screencast.com/t/raxZGsjMTJ0
Next you have to set a background color or image to the stretched row
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WcFNpvyrw
You can also set some top padding for the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sAuUJqas1Ea
The result should be like in the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/beq1D2x6HE
If you are having problems using these options, maybe something is interfering with the tagDiv composer. Try deactivating all your other plugins except the editor as a test, and clear any caching installed. Then create a new page and try it again to see if everything works properly.
Thanks
Hi,
I cannot view the image you provided, it seems I don’t have permission. If you want to modify the modules that form a block, those are the files where the changes must be made. You will have to edit the module you want and modify it.
Here you can see what modules each block contains
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
Or you can use the browser inspector to check
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2g8TYuTuv7a

Hi,
1) Sorry but the theme module sand blocks do not have a built in video player. The video is only played once the post is accessed.
2) You will have to search for a plugin that can load the next and previous post as a carousel. The theme has no such option available.
Thanks.
Hi,
To make it exactly like that other font and also change the color (there is no need to enter the code provided in your other topic, just use this one), please try this code
.td-footer-wrapper
.td_block_text_with_title {
color: white;
font-size: 14px;
line-height: 21px;
}
Your website seems to be in maintenance so I cannot test this, but it should work as intended. Just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try this code to change the color of the text, only on the Block text with title. You can change the color to what you like in the code
.td-footer-wrapper
.td_block_text_with_title {
color: white;
}
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css. Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks
Hi,
You have to create the page with tagDiv composer and set it as Homepage
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Each page building block has options to filter categories and posts. In this guide you can see all the available block settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hello sil2,
Notice that our theme uses thumbs to crop images. Also, as you can see, the theme uses a lot of thumbs because we have some modules/blocks which are using different thumbs. In that folder, when you load an image, the theme will automatically crop the images for all of the sizes used by our thumbnails and the theme will prepare the images to be ready in case of using a block of those available. Also, if you want to reduce this process, you should turn off from the theme panel the blocks which you do not want to use for your entire theme, from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/W2vtuCiQb and then, the theme will do not make any images fro this thumbs.
I hope that you understand me and hope that you understand the entire process in this regard.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You could set a background color for the title on that block. Like in this example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YADFukGzuTz
This is the code used, you can change the color to what you want, and then enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td_block_14 .entry-title {
background-color: rgba(77, 178, 236, 0.7);
}
Thanks
Hi,
You can change the length of the post title for each module. This can be done in Theme panel->Excerpts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
For block 9 you can change the title length here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WmWzhUszuH5
Thanks
Hello,
You can use the page builder to create a block/grid/slider showing your latest posts. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello,
Our page builder was not meant to copy or imitate visual composer. If you want to hide a block from a specific viewport it can be done with css.
You can assign a custom class to every element in the tagdiv composer and then simply use your class in this css adding it in the theme panel-> custom code-> advanced css section. Here is an example:
https://www.screencast.com/t/IvXwT6w2vYTf and you can use the class to hide the block on a specific device like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/lqdAM8nu
Thank you!
Hi,
This is proving to be quite difficult to do. Please make the modification like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6NSClQWt
And then enter this code in Theme Panel->Custom Css
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yHpRXDUeWqzf
It should display it like you want
.td_block_big_grid_fl_1
.td-module-comments,
.td_block_big_grid_fl_1
.entry-title {
float:none;
display:inline-block;
top: -5px;
}
Thanks
Hello Paulo Campos,
Before making/customizing your sidebar, you should read our documentation regarding on this thing, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/ After you get acquainted with these options you should do at Widgets section and there you have to add every block you want to your sidebar, with drag and drop and create your sidebar. So, if you want to load a GIF, you should use the block Text with the title and add there you desired image GIF format.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
If you want to change the color of the text in that particular block, you will have to assign an extra class to the block: https://www.screencast.com/t/dG5p6LNV7eF
Then you can use the custom class to target the block with css and change the colors for that block in particular.
For my example the code would be:
.mycustomclass .td-module-title a, .mycustomclass .td-excerpt, .mycustomclass .td-post-author-name a{
color:white!important;
}
Thanks.
