Hi,

Some times my site only shows header. All the items below header just shows blank page. Only header shows up. It only happens to the homepage. Other pages, categories works fine. I am using w3total cache. Is there any caching issue or its a theme problem? Because when I use to change theme everything works fine. I happened 3 times till now. Today also this problem happened and when i slightly modified the homepage and added a row then everything worked fine. But I dont know why this is happening. The site we are talking is a news site and we cannot afford just to go blank. Please assist.

Thank You.

Hello,
It is probably a caching issue. Please clear your cache and please also test it on other devices to see if the problem reappears.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello emirbalin,

1) There is about Permalinks. If you want to change it, you can set the structure of this by setting from panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ueI0m3Z2zW As reference, please consult this link -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks

2) I suspect this issues it might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict.

3),4) Unfortunately, our theme does not have such option. Please try to search some plugins with these functionalities and test it on your side and see how it works for you or you can hire a freelancer/developer to implement these functionalities in our theme because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

5) Please make sure you have these requirements before further investigation is required:

a) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.6.4. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

b) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.6.4 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.

c)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours. Please try with other Facebook Id, as example cocacola or envato and see how it works.

Once you followed all the above steps properly and made sure you have not missed anything, (and the social counter still does not work), then you can send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with your login information so we can further inspect the issue.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello Ryuko,

Please ensure you have disabled all the active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as expected…these problems might be caused by some plugins which interfere with lazy load feature from our theme. Please try to disable this featured from Theme panel, ensure you have the latest update installed and check if your problem is still there. -> http://screencast.com/t/fryXLc1pVz3Q

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,

1) You can change the way the articles display from the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/T6WEkBBq9A
2) The blockquotes change only the text you select. I could not recreate the issue on my end. Please tr to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache to see if there is no plugin conflict.
3) Please provide more details to what width you would like to change.

Thank you!

Hello moor,

I have checked you website and saw the problem with your Big Grid displaying on mobile mode. Also, I notice you are using an RTL mode. Our theme has not been designed to work in RTL mode and this could cause some errors in the theme. Please check our demo preview and see that this feature works fine without problems, like this-> http://screencast.com/t/wh3urhM4A3y We suggest trying to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi

This could be a cache issue so try to empty all caches then test the site again. Also if you’re using a cache plugin make sure that you have the Ajax view counter enabled: http://screencast.com/t/VzcWBnUGXsC
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect this closer.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have a problem with video format posts. The featured image that should automatically be taken from a video doesn’t show up as thumbnail elsewhere on the site.

I insert the video link as seen here: http://imgur.com/orwkEou

The video is correctly embedded in the post itself but the thumbnail/featured image does not appear in blocks and modules: http://imgur.com/a/vRcpc

What I have already tried:

– disabled all plugins except visual composer
– accessed site with different browsers
– accessed site from different devices
– flush cache
– created a dummy site from scratch and the problem was still there

(note: I am not using CDN)

Buna

Multumesc!

HI

This is a problem related with the last update of WordPress but we fix it in the last theme version. Try to update the theme at the curen version available on themeforest, V 2.3.5, https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ clear all caches and test again.

Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi

Please make sure that you installed the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ This seams to be a css issue so please check in browser console if there are any error related with css files. Usually should be a 403 or 404 error. Also you can try to log in via ftp and rename the plugins folder, just to make sure that the issue is not caused by a plugin. For more details about this step please check this link: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/
If the problem persist try to reinstall the theme following the steps indicated in our documentation, clear all caches, leave all plugins deactivated and test again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Thanks!

Hello,
The front-end editor of visual composer was deactivated in our theme as it created a few issues and we had to disable it.
As for the errors please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear your cache to rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us known how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello vskaarthi,

Until now, we do not have any reports with this kind of plugin, Thumbnail Upscale. We recommend to our users to use the functionality of this plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and Thumbnail Upscale, clear all cache and check if your problem is still there. I have installed this plugin on my side and works fine. Or, it is possible to have some errors with other plugins wich could produce this issue. Also, you can try to disable your lazy load function and see how it works. -> http://screencast.com/t/DskJqTaBr4Lc

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi

That delay appear because the css from theme panel loads after the main css of the theme, loaded from style.css file. To avoid that delay try to insert the css directly in style.css: http://screencast.com/t/kOQTD07V clear all caches and test again.

Thanks!

Hi,
I am using the NewsPaper 6 theme and on several posts I see that no images are loading up!

Example: http://khurki.net/creepy-wikipedia-pages/

Please let me know how to resolve it. I think it was Smush.it but the problem persists even when I have disabled it. Tried clearing cache of the website and browser, not working. Please resolve.

Hello,

I’ve changed my WP Super Cache setting and I think it is working right now.

Thank you so much for your suggestions and help 🙂

Have a good time 🙂

Kind regards,
Nick

Already done that 😉

Disabled the lazyload. Cleared the cache.

The bug persists. It’s not always showing. But it might happen when it shouldn’t 🙂 Like when somebody visits for the first time and such. Will be a killer.

Connection is 10Mb minimum – 50Mb max.

Turn off the lazy loading feature, as it seems to conflict with some browsers when cache is full, slow connection, etc. This can be disabled in theme panel.

Hey Chris,

I cleared my Chrome history and caché, but the problem is still there. With the other two websites I shared above it’s also happening.

Very strange I must say, it has to do something with Chrome for sure.

Best regards,

Elvis.

Might be problem with Chrome. Be sure to clear your cache/history in Chrome from time to time. Make sure it’s updated to latest version.
