When attempting to add plugins in my WordPress
There are a few plugins on the WordPress plugin list page that say they are “Not Available (?)” and when I hover over the question mark it says “This plugin is not allowed on our system due to performance, security, or compatibility concerns. Please contact support with any questions.”
The plugins are:
WP Super Cache
WP Fastest Cache
W3 Total Cache
I was attempting to install WP Super Cache. I can download it after clicking on the WP Super Cache link, from the popup, but then when inside the WordPress plugin list it has a big question mark icon and says not available. This also happens when I attempt to upload it from my computer. It is not the hosting, GoDaddy, I talked with them and they duplicated my setup and had no problem getting and installing it. Other people say they have no issues. What can be causing this?
Hello tanose,
Do you have some AdBlocker at your computer? If yes, you should disable it, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if you are using an Adsense code, notice that validation will take a while until the ad will be displayed at your side.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello, I’m here to understand why a simple page assembled with Newspaper + tagDiv has 5000 lines of code (when a normal page with other themes is less than 1000/1500 lines). It is kind of weird, I have also activated Wp Super Cache but I do not see signs of CSS manification.
I’ve 500 words on the page and 4700 lines of HTML code.
In another page I’ve 200 words and 3000+ lines of HTML code.
Please can you give me insights to understand what is going wrong?
Thanks,
Alex.
Hello xplorai,
Maybe this will help resolve the errors: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-wordpress-posts-returning-404-error/ Also, try to re-save your permalinks, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thank you!
Hello tanose,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, make sure that your WordPress version is the latest one, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. This functionality should works as expected because I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as properly.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@swamplingman That fix should work for Instagram, the theme update released after the fix was provided contained the same code. The fixes were for the widget and a different one for the plugin. After you replace the code in the theme file for the widget, be sure to clear any caching you have, as well as CDN if used. Also clear the browser cache. Also if possible test with a different ID, see if images are displayed.
However it would be best to update the theme and social counter plugin to the latest version, if you use an older version. There were changes made by Facebook and Twitter as well, so they may not work with previous theme and counter. In the latest version there are no know issues with the socials. Here is a guide if you should decide to update
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The FTP method is the most reliable and recommended.
Thanks
Hello roamthehorizon,
Check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, please try the below solution ->
Set up the below code in .htaccess!
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello daveml75,
Provide your website URL and some useful screenshots with this problem so I can investigate it closer. Before this, you should remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
“Not allowed by WordPress” — means what exactly? Do you mean hosted as a WordPress VIP, or what “WP System” do you mean – *exactly* ?
Are you saying your web hosting service does not support it?
If your hosting is saying not allowed, best to reach out to them and ask WHAT caching is allowed; for example they may be running opcache and varnish and you may not need a caching plugin.
Or, you may have a budget account that doesn’t allow certain plugins at all due to consuming too much system resources.
Folks might be better able to assist if you give a wee bit more info 🙂
( I don’t work here; just webdev dinosaur since 1995 )
WP Fastest Cache is not allowed by WordPress just like WP Super Cache.
Hi,
I noticed that my browser Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0 is not loading the photos.
I deleted the cache …and I don,t have any special settings on it.
Thank you,
Dan
Hello daveml75,
Please notice that I have made some tests on my side and the Unique Articles does not break the latest articles pagination. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/ Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello eoryeon,
I have checked your website and it seems to work and I do not bring HTTP ERROR 500.
Notice that the 500 error is usually a server side error meaning that there is something wrong but the server couldn’t provide more information about the problem. It is a general error usually caused by configuration issues with the websites programming, PHP or system permissions.
I found here some useful information about possible reasons for this errors and a few tips in order to fix it: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/500servererror.htm Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out conflicting plugins. Also, please try contacting the hosting provider, tell them this problem and they should be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Kjray,
I have checked your console and I saw that you have some errors through it as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/c2gDqw51mgPC You should disable all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check your header ad code to be a valid one in order to achieve better results. As a test, you should try to make a new install to another sub-domain for testing via FTP way and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello TechieBraj,
I suggest you make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, clear all the caches, update the plugins to the latest version of them and check the results. The theme install should have to be done via FTP way.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
That code works properly, I tested it as well.
Without code – https://www.screencast.com/t/HU6wJ5s706
With code added – https://www.screencast.com/t/har5K9wl
Hiding the post views with CSS will allow the popular posts sorting to work, the views will still be counted. Enter the cod, enable the ajax view count and then clear the cache as specified
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Thanks
Hello TiffanyFG,
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Hello,
I’ve been struggling with adsense integration, and I desperately need help.
So basically, I’d been using the theme’s ad insert functions to insert the adsense ads (1 top, 1 bottom, and 1 in-line). However, since there’s not much option for me to fine tune the ads through the theme’s ad inserts, I decided to get rid of those codes, and manually insert the ads on every single post without the use of any plugins or theme’s functions. So I have completed inserting those ads on every post through the html section of the editor.
But here’s the problem.
The ads don’t display all the time, and this is not the problem with the browser cache, or Google unable to find the right size for the ad placement. The ads show perfectly and always with other themes made by other companies. I have tested this with 5 different themes and also the 2017 theme. But it was just these two themes, newspaper and newsmag, that do not display the ads all the time.
Please have a look at the following image:
https://imgur.com/a/S8j1FIz
The code I inserted on the pages are as follows:
<div class=”ad-wrap”>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– post-top –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-xxxxxx”
data-ad-slot=”xxxxxxxx”
data-ad-format=”auto”
data-full-width-responsive=”true”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
</div>
And the css I applied to the ads’ divs:
.ad-wrap {margin-top: 25px; margin-bottom: 25px; padding: 0; line-height: 0 !important; text-align: center;}
.ad-top {width: 300px; height: 250px;}
.ad-middle {width: 300px; height: 250px;}
.ad-bottom {width: 300px; height: 250px;}
The link to my website is on the picture from the above,
and you can click on any of the posts on the main page to test out.
Thank you in advance!
Also. Try clearing your Twitter links in the theme settings. Saving it. clear in cache. Reentwr it. Open your post in a incognito tab.
Hello.
I have disabled the post views, because I don’t want them to show.
I just tried your method to live css
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}
that I read above to these topic that makes post views (when enabled) disappear, but it didn’t work (I also enabled AJAX POST VIEW COUNT since I use WP Super Cache).
I just want very much to use popular posts without showing the number of views to each post and without any additional plugin.
You’re right it is cache! That’s the first step.
How about changing the button in the single product page?
Thank you.

Hi,
If you edited or created a new social counter widget, configured with your data, then the information it displays should be accordingly. Maybe you have strong caching, which prevents the page content to be refreshed. If you use a caching plugin or service, please try and clear the cache.
However now it seems to be displaying your data from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xKKaFbfTT6pM
The Facebook counter will display the values from a Facebook “like” page. Such as this one
– https://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Facebook-Fan-Page
The page must be public and have with no restrictions. If there is no like count in the Facebook page the counter will not display anything.
The Google plus seems to not have a valid configuration
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EcdHRkAj
Also YouTube is not configured properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1aWQzrqb
Try it like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/PAuvrm1c7mrb
Enter only this in the YouTube field

Thanks
Hi,
That code seems to work – https://www.screencast.com/t/w7OAfl8ooAL
I entered that in the mobile theme custom CSS code and the buttons color is changed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RXetWJ5LPZ
Maybe try and clear the cache of the browser you are testing with, and the website cache.
Thanks
Hello,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Make sure that your Social Counter are properly set up with the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
