Please notice that the Seo Yoast and WP Supercache plugin are tested with our theme but not the premium version of Seo Yoast and that’s why might appears some conflicts.

I have an Plugin conflict between Yoast Seo Premium and WP Supercache. In Frontend it looks OK, but I can´t edit or build Posts or Pages in the Backend. I can only see an white Page.
To make some Post I must deactivate fife more important Plugins to the new european Data Protection Act.
Its since the last Update.
What should I do?

Hi there, i’ve got the same problem with Instagram, as well as Facebook. I’ve cleared my cache, uploaded the latest plugin version, but nothing seems to work. Funny enough it does show Twitter followers.
Any thoughts on what to do?

I followed all the topics with the social counter problems. Instagram works almost fine but it doesn’t update the followers.
The Facebook counter still doesn’t work. I removed the Facebook ID and stuff, only the name is now in the counter. But nothing changed. I cleared the cache, I tried different browers nothing happened.
I also reinstalled the social counter and updated Newsmag but the counter is still 0.
Is there any solution?

In wp_option the line “td_011_remote_cache” is 450.000 characters long for me. The old records from Social counter 4.2 or so are still there and refuse to expire.
Trying to bypass cache from
public function get_social_counter($service_id, $user_id, $access_token = ”)
by
private function get_service_data($service_id, $user_id, $access_token)
gets infinite load and crash:
case ‘instagram’:
$td_data = td_remote_http::get_page(“http://instagram.com/$user_id#”, __CLASS__);
Maybe it fails for https://www.instagram.com/aurelvirlan/ where I should have 269 followers but it keeps showing 0.
So how to clear the cache by force? It’s normal to have such a big cache for a few pages website?

Hi,
The mobile theme does not have filtering settings, it’s options are kept as few as possible. The plugin is optional, you can choose not to enable it.
Regarding that layout problem, it could be solved by a simple force page refresh (usually Ctrl+Shift+R). Clear the browser cache if this is not working, or try with a different browser.

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, update all of the required plugins to the latest version of them, clear all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Try this suggestion. Deactivate all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Clear the cache again. Check if the images display. If this does not work, we could take a look.

When creating posts the featured image box allows me to select an image but when done it doesn’t show in the box or in the front page. However the option to Remove Featured Image is still there and clickable. i have made sure i have the latest theme version and have tried clearing the cache but no joy. Hopefully there is a solution.

I have inspected the website, and the images are not loading from what I can see. That is usually caused by code entered in the theme panel (including ad codes in some cases)in a child theme or directly in the theme files, or plugins.
I see that you are using the Jetpack lazy load for your images. Please check if the issue is solved when you disable that setting

Then clear you cache and CDN if used. Let us know the results of this.

In most cases when the mobile theme is displaying on desktop or devices where it should not, the problem is caching. We recommend the WP Super cache, this will work with the mobile theme properly. Other plugins can cause issues with the mobile theme.

My theme is updated to the 4 May version 8.7.4. I deleted cache via the WP Super Cache plugin; changed the instagram id to BBC and the social icon in my footer 3 links to the BBC account, but shows 0.
Hope you can help.
Done already. I continuously clear the cache with a special plugin: ‘LiteSpeed Cache Purge All’, but it still does not work.

Maybe it is a cache issue. Since the latest theme update (8.7.4) Facebook in the social counter requires just the ID, no other information is required

So no need for Facebook security keys or tokens. Try accessing your cache plugin settings and clear it. Then check again.

Yes, the latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.3. Ensure that installing has been made via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.
As a hint, try to install the Newsmag Travel demo and check the functionality of mega menu and try to replicate it on your website.

If you have the latest theme version the Instagram related elements will work. In all cases until now post update Instagram issues were related to some form of caching. Access the caching plugin settings and clear the cache. Check if this solves the problem. Try changing the Instagram ID as a test

It is nice that settings for wp super cache is provided from the developer end. My server uses litespeed technology. Hence, if setting of litespeed cache is also provided for newspaper theme, it will be very much helpful for users whose hosting servers are running litespeed.
