Hi,

Those tags displayed above the Latest Articles do not originate from the theme. This could be a plugin so please disable all plugins except Visual Composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thanks

Hello JJ0000,

Most likely, this error happens due to your untested plugins used by you. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem and the error is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

A caching plugin is meant to increase page loading speed not drop it. There is some other issue on your site. There could be another plugin that provides a conflict with wp super cache. Please disable all plugins except visual composer and wp super cache, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test for speed again.

Thank you!

Hello tagdiv,

I have used a custom font in our site thither.website/wbg

We used a woff file which came with the font files we purchased, once uploaded.

There is a issue of it not appearing in all the devices. We thought it was a caching issue but it doesnt get resolved even upon clearing cache.

Most devices especially mobile devices cant read the font.

Currently we can add 3 custom fonts (Refer to http://imgur.com/a/S2Ore)
can you help us to add more because there are many extensions for each font. (Such as bold italics and etc.) Refer to http://i.imgur.com/lBBpHH0.png

Hello keeltyc,

I need your website URL so I can take a closer look at it. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme without untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Clear all your caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello golive,

My advice in this regard is to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, install the latest version of the theme with only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. Clear all your caches and check the results. In this case, the theme should work as properly. For more information about theme installing, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

If the problem is still there after my advice, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look on it.

Thanks for the message!

We were using WP Super Cache so far but site seems to slow and we are getting recommendation to use W3 Total Cache Plugin so want to confirm it is compatible with your theme and page views and all theme feature will work with this plugin?

Hello DT,

It seems to be odd but please notice that behavior is not theme related. Also, try to disable all the plugins which are not tested with our theme, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and check the results. Probably, an untested plugin interacts with your database and check these values and that’s why now does not display correctly. If you want to add manually these values, notice that you can do that from Theme panel, for each post like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XCfVERKK4hYZ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QGHzNPRvETmD

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello p1mag,

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. Also, try your Social Counter with our Youtube account which is tagdiv and check the results. If this will work and yours not, it means that your YouTube account is not well configured. Clear all your caches and check the results.
For more information about Social Counter plugin, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey there, I’m getting these errors

Warning: require_once(/homepages/33/d249180215/htdocs/zielix/harrel/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header/top-widget.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /homepages/33/d249180215/htdocs/zielix/harrel/wp-includes/template.php on line 684

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/homepages/33/d249180215/htdocs/zielix/harrel/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header/top-widget.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5.6′) in /homepages/33/d249180215/htdocs/zielix/harrel/wp-includes/template.php on line 684

When I go to /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header and change the permission to these two files (top-widget.php and td-login-model.php) to 644 it works, but only temporarily, as soon as I clear my browser cache it shows same error.

How can I fix this?

I have seen similar topics about this, and done everything (cache clearing, plugin deactivation etc) but still I cannot save SOME of the options. I can save translations and social network URLs, but still cannot save Header (e.g. to show top menu), Template (e.g. to disable comments in pages). How to fix it?

Hello! Just recently switched to this Newspaper template and it’s great. However, the site loads a little slow and even with our cache program, it’s taking too much time for images to load. Please let me know if there’s a setting to pre-load the images so the boxes don’t appear blank at first and seemingly animate in. Also, if there are loading speed tips that you can offer, that would be great.

Thanks!

Hello,

You seem to have a js error in your browser console regarding an events plugin so please disable the events plugin or better yet disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello kostaskir,

I have inspected your website on mobile mode and I saw that your top Big Grid does not show as properly the featured images. Also, I have noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi,

Try making the change using !important it should forcibly apply, and check or remove any previous code from custom css or modifications related to this, also you should clear all your caches
The code should look like this

.single .td-post-title .td-post-author-name {
top: 1px!important;
}

If it still does not work send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this topic.

Thanks
