Normal when you click on the author name then you should be redirect to the author page where will be display all posts write by that author.
For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin, if they are author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case – http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If you are using cdn, make sure that is set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details and some screenshots with these problems.

Whenever I do any edits in the default newspaper theme, my yslow score in gtmetrix get decreses from 91% to 67%, and my managed wordpress cdn automatically turns to 0. please help with my issue.
I am trying to use the TagDiv photo gallery for the posts but because the text editor on the content is not the classic https://tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/slidegallery1.jpg, the media button is not there. With the new editor https://cdn3.wpbeginner.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/newwpeditor.png, there are galleries on that editor, but I can’t use the TD Gallery. Is there a way to use the TD Gallery with the new Gutenberg editor? Is there a way at all to use the TD Gallery?

Usually these problems are caused by plugins that has lazy-load animation (cache plugin, optimization plugin, cdn …), please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

But to be sure you can make a staging where you can set the actual website and there you can check the plugins.

Indeed the above suggestion does not work for me also:
1. Site is powered by Nginx web server, not Apache, No .htaccess
2. Never heard of MaxCDN. Was not listed in Newspaper requirements.
I am surprised this would even present a problem.

Are you using other cache plugins then super cache ?
Also I see that you have CDN maybe is from rocket loader, if you can to make a test, to use 1-2 days only super cache and check the results.
In the meanwhile will make some more investigations, about this, for the moment the chert this is that this problem is from same cache.

Yes, usually this is a cache problem, usually is fix by cleaning all cache and purge cdn.

We notice a difference in server performance based on the order in which we activated them. Does this agree with what you have tested in your labs?
We rebuilt SuperCache, and flushed our firewall CDN. The site seems to be running fairly well but we’d still appreciate our taking a look. You may notice something quickly that is not obvious to us.

Odd challenge here, and I hope I can get some pointers.
My site Wise Living Magazine (https://wiselivingmagazine.co.uk) was approved for AdSense, has a status of ‘Ready’ and I have created and placed ad units using Newspaper’s Theme panel > Ads. I have pasted the ad code into the ad spots (Header etc).
However, ads are only showing up in WordPress Previews of posts – but not the actual post itself when live! So far, no ads have been appearing on the live site, but they do appear when previewing a post (new or an existing post).
Could it be because I am deferring JS and CSS? Is there a bug with the Ad placements in Newspaper? Could it be caching? Am I being too impatient (but why would ads show in preview)?
Things to know:
Account activated 24 hours ago; ad units created 12 hours ago
Site status is ‘Ready’
I have purged the caches on CloudFlare (CDN) and LiteSpeed (WordPress cache)
No ad blockers
Tried incognito mode, ensured Javascript active
Checked script in <header> tags, checked ads.txt file
Plenty of traffic (>1k sessions so far)
Installed and using Site Kit
A couple of questions, please:
Key question: why are ads showing in Preview but not on the live site?
Could deferring JS, using LazyLoad etc be the culprit (though the same settings apply to Post Previews). Anyone else experience this with Newspaper?
Any ideas? Would love to actually serve the ads!

Thanks for your reply. I hope this is something the developers are able to add. Newspaper is a great theme, and allowing these thumbnails to be served from a CDN would optimize the theme even further and offer better incentive to create custom pages using the TagDiv Composer.
I’m working in a staging site with a new install of Newspaper (10.3.4) and plug-ins. I cannot delete any page items from the template. I can add items, but cannot delete those same items. The screen goes gray and this is where (usually) the confirmation screen comes up, asking if you are sure you want to delete the item in question. It never appears. Not running a firewall. I’ve deleted and reinstalled tagdiv composer and cloud library plug-ins. CDN is turned off and cache has been flushed. Please advise.
