Hi,
If you are using a cloud header, then you can use tagDiv Composer to remove the popup login (Header login element) then create a page that you want for login and make sure that tagDiv op-in builder is installed (from Newspaper > plugins), add in that page the page login element – https://i.imgur.com/vPrsKZi.png and set the menu login element in header section. Doing this you’ll get a login page like this one – https://i.imgur.com/hlGEVcN.png – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/tds-login-register/
Thank you!
Hi there at tagdiv,
I am running into some issues of witch I can’t optain if it is theme related or not, but maybe you can help or give a hint.
My newssite is running for over 8 years now with Newspaper and all postst are kept. My wp-postmetatable is very large (about 2,6GB) witch seems to give a lot of issues with stability of the database.
I recently moved from an unmaneged VPS (16 vCpu cores and 60GB RAM) to a shared hosting option with 24vCpu cores and 16GB RAM. I took over the site end 2024 and the previous owner helped with support on the VPS. Because of less time available and not being able to update Plesk to latest version, he stopped with suporting me on the VPS.
For years we used WP Rocket as caching plug-in witch almost never gave issues. Before the move a continues amount of databaseconnection errors was arising. The VPS had to be rebooted every few days because the mariadb service was killed.
Using a cache plugin (any cache plugin) gives Fatal database conetion errors or ‘Post can not be updated’. Tried Varnish cache without any other caching but that did not renew/cleared when I posted a new post. Also tried Redis Object Cache, witch worked at first, but then posting an post kept hanging and Redis didn’t clear anymore.
Because everytime I had to remove caching plugins via FTP to restore my site, I took a closer look at my database.
As far as I know I am only using cloud templates and flex blocks. But the fact that my postmetatable is 2.6GB big concerns me. Maybe you can help me out explaining if td-composer creates a lot of extra row in that table. At current time there are 1071550 totall rows in the postmeta table. I see a lot of the following rows
_vc_post_setting
_edit_lock
_edit_last
slide_template
post_views_count
and this repeats itself many times, but there are also references to other plugins like RankMath, WP Media Folder and FS Poster. It is tricky to get a clear picture of what is eating space unnessessary.
A hint of help would be much appriciated!
Atentamente,
Juan

Hi,
The author box is usually display on articles, but in case you want to display the same author on all categories, then you can use a cloud category and using tagDiv Composer you can use an author box element to display an author – https://i.imgur.com/ROd2bCV.png -https://i.imgur.com/dshEKzq.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Ok, I see that the menus are the same, so I will recommend to use the set the cloud header template as global, this can be done from Cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/LDowYyZ.png this will apply the cloud header on entire website and the problem will be resolved.
Also, if you want to have a different cloud header on a page, on category or single template you can assign an individual template directly from the page/template from manager – https://i.imgur.com/9gmvt0o.png – https://i.imgur.com/bOLq46Y.png
Thank you!
👋 Hello tagDiv team & community,
I’m currently building my personal digital magazine site using Newspaper Theme 12 and I’ve run into a strange layout issue that I can’t seem to resolve on my own. I’d really appreciate any help or insight you can offer!
🔍 The Issue:
The footer and content on post pages appears misaligned to the left side — but only on:
Category pages
Single post pages
It renders perfectly fine and centered on:
The homepage
Custom static pages (like “Privacy Policy” “Join Syaz+,” etc.)
🧪 What I’ve Tried:
Zeroed out margin/padding via tagDiv Composer
Checked all footer row/column settings (full width, centered content, etc.)
Applied custom CSS (example below), but this affects global layout and causes issues elsewhere
Inspected with dev tools — the td-container inside .td-footer-wrapper seems to shift left on posts/categories
You may view the issues when visiting my site on an actual mobile phone, weird thing is: the issues doesn’t show up on the tagDiv Composer’s mobile view.
🌐 My Website:
https://syaz.co
⚙️ Theme Version & Setup:
Theme: Newspaper 12
Composer: tagDiv Composer
Footer: Custom Footer Template from tagDiv Cloud Library
No caching/minification plugins running while debugging
💡 Desired Outcome:
I’d like the footer to remain centered consistently across all page types, including:
Category archives
Single blog posts
🛠️ Optional CSS I tried (not reliable):
body.category .td-footer-wrapper .td-container,
body.single-post .td-footer-wrapper .td-container {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
text-align: center;
}
🙏 Any help is appreciated!
I’m hoping someone might’ve encountered this before — or if tagDiv devs could shed some light on what might be causing this layout behavior across different templates.
Thanks in advance,
Syazwan Razali
Hi,
Wow, that’s smart! It worked!
I still have an issue with the menu, though.
I don’t have a “Cloud Template” menu set for my entire website (no one selected). However, when I tried to modify the header menu, I noticed that I couldn’t do so on the article pages.
For some reason, the header menu is different on those pages (you can see it on http://www.dr-detailing.com).
The error message I’m getting is:
“This type of header is not editable with TagDiv Composer. Please use a cloud header template!”
The home page works fine both on desktop and mobile, but the article pages have a different header.
I hope that’s clear. It’s a bit tricky to explain, but I’d appreciate any guidance on this issue.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Calin,
thanks for looking into this. A few additional details from our end:
1. We’ve used about ten different plugins that triggered the same “\_load\_textdomain\_just\_in\_time was called too early” notice, and they’ve all released fixes since WP 6.7 (November 12, 2024). The only one still spamming our logs is td-cloud-library.
2. To prove it’s definitely td-cloud-library, we spun up a fresh install with only the Newspaper theme plus tagDiv Composer and td-cloud-library active. With WP\_DEBUG (and/or WP\_DEBUG\_LOG) enabled, the notice appears—and disabling td-cloud-library alone removes it. Steps to reproduce:
* Install Newspaper theme + tagDiv Composer + tagDiv Cloud Library
* Add to wp-config.php:
`
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
`
* Visit any page and watch the notice flood the debug log.
3. We hunted down why that notice won’t go away under WP 6.7+. Here’s what we tried:
* Searched every PHP file in td-cloud-library for load\_plugin\_textdomain(…) calls—none exist.
* Made a small must-use plugin that removes WP’s JIT filters on “plugins\_loaded” and force-loads the text domain on init. But it still fails because WP 6.7+ attaches _load_textdomain_just_in_time so early that any __(…, 'td-cloud-library') call in the plugin’s global scope immediately triggers the notice—before our MU-plugin runs.
* In other words, as soon as the first translation function fires (e.g. __('…', 'td-cloud-library')), WP already tried and threw the warning.
What needs to happen: All translation function calls (__(), _e(), esc_html__(), etc.) in td-cloud-library must be moved out of the global scope so they don’t run before load_plugin_textdomain('td-cloud-library', …) fires on or after init. Until every translation call is wrapped in a callback (or otherwise deferred until after the domain is registered), that notice will keep spamming logs.
Hope this helps pinpoint the fix. Cheers!
Dear TagDiv Support Team,
I am writing to inquire about the high number of database queries, specifically duplicate queries, generated by your plugins tag div composer, cloud library (We have disable tag div standard pack for these problem).
Through recent performance debugging and analysis of our query logs, we have identified that a significant portion of our site’s database load originates from these plugins. This excessive query count is directly impacting our website’s overall performance and database responsiveness, leading to slowdowns and potential issues with critical background processes, including WordPress cron jobs (which sometimes fail to save their event lists due to database contention).
Could you please provide guidance or suggest methods for reducing the number of database queries generated by your plugins? We are looking for best practices or configurations that can help optimize query usage and improve performance without compromising essential theme functionalities.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hi Nikki,
This is what you can do:
– Clear all caches – Browser, WordPress cache plugin, and CDN (e.g. Cloudflare).
– Use normal URLs – Make sure you’re not visiting /amp/ or ?amp=1 versions.
– Resave permalinks – Go to Settings > Permalinks and click “Save Changes.”
– Check theme settings – Some themes have built-in AMP/mobile modes. Disable any AMP options.
– Remove AMP redirects – Check .htaccess for AMP rules and remove them if present.
– Redirect old AMP URLs – Redirect /amp/ or ?amp=1 to the regular post using a plugin or .htaccess
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using a standard single post template, the inline ads should be set in the theme panel, if is a single from cloud, then you need to set the ad on post content using tagDiv Composer. You can check more in our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-template-ads/
Thank you!
Hi,
This can be done if you are using a cloud header, this can be edited using tagDiv Composer
There are more ways to do this, one of the solutions is to use a row or inner row and set it in 2 columns – https://i.imgur.com/5MrjXC2.png one for menu and one for live search element, anther solution is to set the elements in the same column and make sure that both element have the option for “make inline” enabled – https://i.imgur.com/MKgXe2u.png – https://i.imgur.com/UKhq8FM.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I believe that what you need is a bit more complex. What you can do is to use the Lock Content in a different ways, on rows – per page and cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/HE9HH0z.png (can be done with tagDiv Composer), on cpt per sections using the locker – https://i.imgur.com/eVmONIH.png on cpt content (make sure you enable the option in the theme panel for that cpt – https://i.imgur.com/J9hWr0n.png) – https://i.imgur.com/nUe6f63.png
You can check more about the locker in our documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately there are no options to do this. It can be done only if you change or overwrite the css from the theme (here is a similar topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/modify-breakpoints/) but if is all about the navigation menu, then you can set it and use it on each view port you want and hide it from those you do not want. This can be done on cloud header with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m trying to add a search icon to my WordPress menu bar, which users can click on to type their search query.
I would like the icon to appear at the end of the menu, and not by creating if in Cloud Template.
Could you guide me on how to do this on the desktop version of the site?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards.
It doesn’t seem to be a theme issue.
I recreated the Newspaper parent theme and child theme folders as ‘old’ themes.
And I still get the 502 error.
And the plugins I use are as follows:
classic-editor
td-cloud-library
td-composer
td-social-counter
wordpress-seo(yoast seo)
wp-super-cache

Hi,
Only the flex blocks have the option to add/remove elements, the normal blocks use only the theme panel settings that will apply globally – https://i.imgur.com/kr3oLLV.png also you can import from cloud a flex block that was configurated to looks similar with block 11 – and you can edit it – https://i.imgur.com/ptKrbuO.png – https://i.imgur.com/cSPbpwJ.png
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks for the clarification!
I’m using a Cloud Header but with the standard mobile menu, and your suggested CSS for the expanded subcategories works perfectly in this setup.
Also, your explanation regarding the social icons makes sense. Since I want to keep them on desktop but remove them on mobile, the CSS approach is exactly what I needed.
Appreciate the quick and helpful support!
Hi,
Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Start by checking this guide: – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
If the issue appears on only one specific page, try restoring a previous version using WordPress revisions: – https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/ Also, check if the problem is not on cloud template or footer template (replace theme or set no header no footer from the theme panel).
If the problem still persists, please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com. When reaching out:
Make sure you have a full backup of your website.
Provide temporary wp-admin and cPanel access.
Include the link to this topic in your message so we can easily identify your case.
Thank you!
Hi Cloud Hosting, maybe you have something that is interfering, because for me is working, I set the “Category base” – and I saved the permalinks – https://i.imgur.com/8j68ITx.png now when I go on a category the link is like this – https://i.imgur.com/Eft6I95.png also on a subcategory – https://i.imgur.com/gI975nh.png so it should be the same for you (please notice that the “Category base” will be apply only on categories if you’ll go on articles will no longer work like that, this is how it’s works with a default theme from WordPress).
Thank you!
Hi Team,
I am facing this issue on my website maverickmefoundation.com. Please help. I have already updated the theme and the plugins, but the error message is not going away. I have also flushed the cache files…
Thank you.
Ritu
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the td-cloud-library domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Hi Cloud Hosting ,
1. Show Category Base – Pros & Cons
Advantages:
Prevents URL conflicts.
Clear content structure.
Safe and SEO-stable (default WordPress behavior).
Disadvantages:
Longer, less clean URLs.
Slightly less user-friendly.
Removing it gives cleaner URLs but risks slug conflicts and requires plugins or custom code.
2. Can You Show This URL Format?
Yes – WordPress supports this:
https://domain.com/category-base/category-name/post-title/
Go to Settings > Permalinks.
Use structure: /%category%/%postname%/
Set a custom Category base (like topics or blog) under “Optional” – https://i.imgur.com/U5WNNGm.png

Hi Cloud Hosting,
Just a simple user here, but hope these answers will help you.
What’s the use of Category-Base?
As mentioned on the “Permalinks” admin page, the category base is used only for links specific to category archive pages, not to single posts: https://prnt.sc/PHuWkYZb02TC
The default WP link structure for a category archive page is “/category/category-name/”.
If you prefer a different base instead of “/category/”, then you can place a custom term in that section. For instance, your category archive pages could be “/news/category-name/”.
For single posts, the links include only the category name, without the category base.
Is it possible to show the Category-Base also like: https://domain-name.com/category-base/category-name/post-title/?
If you want to display the category base in the single post link as well, you can set that base directly in the “Custom Structure” section: https://prnt.sc/zD7ceyJs0nbP
Any particular advantage or disadvantage of showing or not showing Category-Base along with Category and Blog Post Title?
It depends on each case whether your link structure could affect your website’s SEO.
You could probably check out this article which can help you make the right decision:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/seo-friendly-url-structure-for-wordpress/
Hi,
You can modify cloud templates, including the category cloud template. If you want to make a specific change for a particular category, what you need to do is duplicate the category cloud template, assign it individually to that category, and then you can make any changes you want without affecting the template used for other categories.
Thank you!
Hi,
It will be need to use a cloud header and use tagDiv Composer to drag the news ticker in the place you want -https://i.imgur.com/8I8PeBg.png
Thank you!
