If you want to change a user role, you can do it from the wp settings: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-user-roles-and-permissions/
Our theme does not allow access for editors to use the tagdiv composer. You will have to provide a different user role (admin) if you want your user to edit pages or change the capabilities with a plugin.

When using the call to action option with the new multi purpose plugin in the tagdiv composer it shows up in different horizontal length depending where I place them on my website and there is no way I can see where to change the alignment afterwards with the result I have different rows with 2 different alignments. Same is for the fancy text with image and that one is too wide. Now what I see is my colleague inserted empty rows with the reason without the alignment would even be worse?
Can anyone point me in the direction where all these alignments are located so I can compare it to the correct alignment of my theme and change it so my front page looks clean? (as said I clicked everywhere to compare the settings and they all look exactly the same but still i have the alignment issue or is this a bug?)

So you want to place multiple video embeds on a column. You could simply use text with title elements and enter the video links in them

If you use Visual composer the solution could be the same, text with title elements and links inserted in their content.

Hi, when i use TagDiv Composer and I want to add a new element called “Hero” (like the one in the video tutorial) i just cannot see the element on the list, what can i do?

Can you please tell me how to make the option for an Editor to get the “Edit with TD Composer” mode? Right when our editor is in Editor mode, she can edit a page with access to Visual and Text editor only. She does not see the “TD Compose” option. Can you let me know how to give access to users set to Editor role?
How can I calculate the correct image dimensions for the header, footer and full width rows?
I would like to use background images but they are not coming out well at all. It is hard to estimate the what the image height to width ratio should be and I am worried on different screen sizes/devices it will be all wrong. Not sure how to get the background image settings correct in TD-Composer.
Any guidance on this?

i’ve installed the theme 8.5, both tagdiv and visual bakery composer, but i cannot succeed in designing the HP using block. If I try to include a block that display the articles horizontally – on 2 or tre columns – in a full row of part of a row (2/3, or 1/3) i get as a result as much as one article per row. See screnshot below.
what am i doing wrong?
(i’ve worked with this template on another webiste with the 8.0 version and visual composer: all went flawless)

Unfortunately, I have inspected your backend page but I saw that I do not have any access to your panel and plugins section. It seems that the TD Composer works as expected, without any problems. Regarding on WPBakery Visual Composer, please notice that regard is not theme’s related and as I have explained you above, the multi-site has not been tested with our theme and also, we cannot provide support for this, sorry! There are some problems with the td-composer plugin in combination with a composerized WordPress (http://composer.rarst.net/). The following code:
$parse_uri = explode( 'wp-content', $_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'] );
require_once( $parse_uri[0] . 'wp-load.php' );
in
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php creates warnings (wp-load file not found) and the visual editor doesn’t open.
It’s better to use ABSPATH since that will always work:

There were some issue with the multi-purpose plugin in update 8.5, however these were fixed in version 8.5.1 of the theme. We have not had any other similar issues like this, since the mentioned update.
If you have the latest them version try deactivating and removing the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins. Install them again from the latest package. If you already tried this, and you have no additional plugins that could create issues, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look.

It might have been, but these parameters are essential in the functionality of the theme and theme plugins. If the theme system status is configured properly and the composer still does not work correctly, try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins as a quick test. Test the composer again.

That will not be a problem. After the latest theme update using the tagDiv composer on pages will allow this. Rows can be stretched to multiple widths, like this

@sestrik Visual composer will receive updates when the theme is updated. The latest version at that moment will be included in the theme package. When this happens, deactivate and remove your current Visual composer and install the new one

hi, i have the same issue – how can i make a static (not drop down) sub menu on one specific page? using tagdiv composer I try to drag in “list menu” block, but that shows a menu vertically, instead of horizontally – i want this but horizontally?
I have done some more testing with this and it seems to be an issue that occurs when an image is (1) centered and (2) added through tagdiv composer. The site has four pages for beauty-treatments, linked below:

The last one of theese (ogonbryn-fransar) has the image alignment set to center/middle using the normal text with title block. The other (first) three ones has the alignment set to “no alignment”. The issue described only happens on the last one (with the center alignment).
It seems this appear not only in Safari, but also in Chrome on mobile devices. I have only tested with iPhone so far though. Further more this doesn´t happen every time the page is loaded. Sometimes the picture loads fine, and sometimes it disappears only to be shown as soon as i double tap or bring out the page-menu.
Can you replicate the issue? I have tried clearing all cashe and tried with several different iphones. The issue is there on all of them.
tagdiv composer’s interface is all scrambeled when editing rows, i dont have any extra css or plugins in place that would be affecting this. I noticed this since updating to latest version of newspaper and installing the new multipurpose addon.
I also tried adding a child theme and is not recognizing it. Please help
I have a really odd problem after switching a site to ssl/https.
Everything works as it should and I have no mixed content warnings anywhere on the site.
However it seems that pages created using tagdiv-composer has an image-issue on iPhone (Safari browser).
On computer browsers images shows up as excpected. However on Safari (on iPhone) the top images only shows up the second I touch on either the menu- or search-icon. The images seems to load correctly but don´t get displayed untill something else is loaded as well.

Looks like tagdivtheme doesn’t update Visual Composer license
I figured out myself, seems that Nginx was blocking the new Visual Composer version.
Enabled php parse on js files in php-fpm and it works now!
