Hello,
Since today, Visual COmposer stopped working, it just shows the source code in the admin page editor. I think thats because I updated wordpress to latest version.
How can I fix that?
Frontend works correctly, is only backend where Visual Composer doesnt load.
Thanks.
Dear support,
I’d like to create a custom page in visual composer or tagdiv composer. I already read the article about the tagdiv composer but it seems you can only load blogposts into the columns.
When I create a new page I can only choose for the tagdiv composer. The pagebuilder button doesn’t show up. It is installed. How can I create a custom page with multiple columns?
Kind regards
EDIT:
I did find the button now. I just looked different than in the tutorial video. Now I can’t find the templates. Is there a place I can download them?
Hi,
You could simply edit the page with the tagDiv composer, and create the layout you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/C6nyOJOB
Split the row as you want and start adding elements in the resulting columns. Rows can be stretched as well if needed

Check this tagDiv composer tutorials as well

Hello guys,
when I edit the homepage with tagdiv composer i look at the preview on the mobile device as i want it to be, when I publish the update on the mobile nothing has changed. I tried to make a lot of changes but it’s still the same on mobile. The homepage is set as static, I tried both with mobile plugin active and without. Can someone help me?
Hi,
Ok. Thank you.. my bad =)
Another question:
I would like to show all my posts excerpts on my homepage.
I know i can do it with Visual Composer.
But if i use example “Block 12” it will show post excerpts in computer, but in mobile it shows only title?
Is there anything to do, so it would show also the excerpts in mobile view?
Hi,
Please try and deactivate the tagDiv composer from the plugins section. This composer has a different functionality for the single image, which interacts with Visual composer.
If you decided to use Visual composer as the page builder, deactivate the tagDiv composer.
Thanks
I have the same problem.
I can´t use TagDiv Composer.

Hello.
I want to show the sub category in Tagdiv Composer Block, but it doesn’t work well.
Like attached img, I type the category slug in “Ajax dropdown – show the following IDs:”
img link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/16iXixoIdoF67EMlJ3YEZbtjG37PSaqtX/view?usp=sharing
But in this img, only “명언 시리즈”(slug : speech) menu is appeared. Of course the other category has post, but it doesn’t work now.
img link : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Esu3uG7tcGStMKudFbEYMwTCs0R7nmV6
I want to show this sub categories in block 2.
Could you tell me the solution, pls?
Thank you.
Hi, i was trying to put up some content so that my category pages can rank for strong keywords. I added up around 1000 words on category description. The sad thing was that the tagdiv composer does not work on category description. As i couldnot style them well the page looks horrible now.
Later i tried some tab codes with custom css. Now it looks better. But the css conflics at few places. So i was thinking if the theme dev’s can provide some style shortcodes. I thought about visual composer, but i really dont want to use any other content builder without tagdiv composer and the style short codes should not be that hard since many wordpress themes used to provide 3-4 years back.
Here is how my page looks now,

Anyone looking to style their category description, you will find the mark up here, i made few changes in css though (Let me know if you need them)

I can’t add media on new post/articles I deleted the plugin Visual Composer and installed the new version, but nothing same problem. Please reply
Turns out it was the TagDiv Composer plugin. As soon as I turned it off, that Edit Live with CSS window went away.
Hi,
I’ve created the site and it works fine on laptops and phones and have managed to troubleshoot everything with browsing through the forum which is great, however I can’t find a solution to my problem.
My problem is that on tablets – you can see images here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1yzK4vIdcgSZtcehp-tzzIlERNsAH1tgO
1. The sidebar is cut off (no matter whether portrait or landscape)
2. The images on my pages/posts are also cut off (portrait and landscape)
I have used the widgetised sidebar and visual composer on all pages and then I’ve used the td composer to edit the image sizes so they appear correct, which they do on laptops and phone, just not on tablets. Please help.
If you’re using an outdated TagDiv themes like Newspaper or Newsmag and you suspect that your website might be infected, you can verify through our free SiteCheck scanner. Update the themes to patch the vulnerability, then inspect your blog for suspicious users. We also advise that you test your settings, change your passwords, and scan your server for any backdoors that may have been left behind.
Also, worth checking the changelog for each new version of Newsmag to check what has been patched, including any security fix.
Much like updating WordPress to fix security flaw in core WP code.
But, check your site with the Securi free scanner, and that way you will know you’re okay 🙂

Hi,
Thank you for your appreciations, the tagDiv composer is meant to allow you to create pages easily, achieving many possible designs.
The functions that are called for each module are declared in the general td-module file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PrqlX29O9t
I believe that is what you are asking.
Thanks
Thank you – I solved the Problem. I had to map it in TD-Composer.
Thank you
Hello otfonseca,
Unfortunately, the theme was not been tested with this kind of layout, sorry! If you want to use the Visual Composer, please check the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ The maximum recommended layout, in this case, is the 1/3+1/3+1/3 layout. Also, notice that if you want to use our multipurpose plugin you can use the 1/4+1/4+1/4+1/4 layout but only for multipurpose elements.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The tagDiv composer can only be used on pages, that would be recommended for Visual composer as well to ensure proper results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Thanks
Thank you! the tagDiv composer not use in other componrnts?
Sorry. I’m using google translate 🙂
Visual Composer columns are not being customized. I can only follow the standard stipulated by Tagdiv composer. That is, if I want to set a default 1/12 + 10/12 + 1/12 does not stay. How can we solve this error?
Hi,
Everytime that I setup the alpha channel under Them Colors – Mobile Menu – Menu Bar – Background Color, I keep getting a grey background color on mobile.
If I add custom css to set the background color transparent, it changes all the elements padding on desktop.
BTW, I’m not using a mobile plugin or tagdiv composer
I assume this should be a simple solution, I hope so…
Thanks and hoping to hear from you soon
Hello,
Since the page is built in the tagdiv composer you can simply add custom code in a column text element like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/wUghyiwTNT2l
Thank you!
Hi,
That would be the overlay menu page template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/p5cgVU4tAM
The page templates should work with both composers.
Thanks
I found the bug, (and it is a bug!)
I tackled the problem with renewed determination and got results. I’m looking more fondly on TD Composer this morning.
The bug occurred because I was testing a column text block to see if custom css could prevent the padding of a text block title but not the text below it.
While the text padding moves the text away from a border (good), the ‘me-too’ header padding leaves an unsightly white strip beside the colored background of the header (bad). I need to make it clear that Custom CSS was empty while creating (and re-creating endlessly) this bug.
So . . .
Home Page Layout:
• Full width row with banner image
• 2/3:1/3 row with ‘td-ss-row’ added class to make the 1/3 row sticky.
• inner row 1/2:1/2 .
• several blocks in each of the two columns, a mix of column text and raw html blocks
At the bottom of the left hand column (as it turns out bug will work at any place up or down the column) I put a default column text block. I changed the title to ‘Test Title Adjust” but I was happy with the default text (it was only a test, after all!)
-
so I did not change it
. I gave the block an all-around border and padded it left and right in order to create the unsightly header I was hoping to correct.
It saved fine the first time in TD Composer and displayed correctly in the page. However, TD composer did not append a [/vc_column_text] shortcode to close this block with its default text.
When I next open then save this page in TD Composer (without doing anything else), it is apparently confused by the [vc_column_text beginning. . . .] but no [/vc_column_text] shortcode to close the block.
Its response to the confusion is rather strange! At the head of the second column, it adds a second pair of quote marks like so: [vc_column_inner width=”1/2”] becomes [vc_column_inner width=””1/2””]. This breaks the layout, placing a full width second column under the ½ width first column. (repeat visits to TD Composer seem to sprinkle pairs of quotes in places down the second column, but I haven’t really explored that.)
Removing the extra quote marks around the column width restores the layout (only momentarily, if the padded default text box does not have new text added to trigger the adding of [/vc_column_text].)
Demand that users change the text? Otherwise don’t create the box? Alert box them if they don’t? Add the closing shortcode anyway?
So, continuing on, it seems, I’m still playing with the column text block title that I’m trying to ‘unpad’. I can get every title including standalone titles to ‘unpad’ by using custom css ‘.block-title{ margin-left: -4px}’ but that leaves all the standalone titles jutting left and looking unsightly. Any ideas on how I can identify only those titles within a text box?
Thanks for the offer of the refund, but I’m perfectly happy with Newspaper and TD Composer (much better than Visual Composer) for the photo magazine blog for which I bought the theme and for which it is licensed.
I’ve been taking a liberal interpretation of localhost usage to try the theme out for a client looking to port a much more text-based DNN website to WordPress (which will, if and when it sees the light of day, require a new purchase/license.) This is the project I’m not so sure about, but finding the bug has certainly improved my mood!
Regards,
Alan
Hi!
I’m trying to achieve a homepage header like the Law, Spa and Smart App demos. I disabled tagDiv composer because crashed my website 3 times.
Can I achieve that using visual composer?
Thanks!
