My page is http://www.jazdaprawna.pl
Comments are enabled in the wordpress panel and in the theme options. Everything is well set. Comments stopped working after I updated the template to version 4.2. I also included TagDiv instead of Visual Composer.
Where is the problem? I read that many people have a problem with that.
Hi,
Please try as as a first step to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, then check if the composer works properly.
Additionally check the theme system status, ask the hosting provider to make changes according to this guide if necesarry
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Seems there is a 404 on a theme file, ultimately you could try a theme re-install by FTP if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know if there still is a problem.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe the plugin does not work on pages, only posts and categories. But that would mean it should not work on Visual composer pages as well.
Unfortunately we have not made any tests with such plugins and the tagDiv composer, I could not give you a solution or cause for this to happen. Normally the posts are meant to have a single author, that will be displayed.
The plugin you mention also seems to be somewhat outdated for the latest version of WordPress and theme.
Thanks
Hello,
I have the home mounted with visual composer, with several categories.
Some publications share several categories. And consequently, sometimes it comes out in the same post, visible in two different categories in the home.
Is there any way to avoid that?

Hi
my problem is that the theme was purchased by another developer and I don’t have access to this account.
I’m sure you can see there is a paid version of this theme we are using but I do want to update the Visual Composer. How can I do this?
thanks for your help
Paul
Hi,
That code outputs the theme name and version in the page source, I don’t know how this is an inconvenience for you. You could remove it from the shown file if you want.
There is no relation between this code and the Visual composer plugin provided bundled in the theme package.
I don’t understand what exactly you are trying to do with the theme files, maybe you could provide some more details and I will try to help you.
Thanks
Hello,
I suppose that your problem comes because your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are planning to use Visual composer for your pages, then deactivate the tagDiv composer. Single images are affected by both composers when they are active.
After deactivating the tagDiv composer plugin the image should display properly.
Thanks
When I create/edit a page and go into TagDiv Composer, I can add a row. But when I try to add a Text with title element and try to Edit Content, the WP Editor just hangs with the loading icon. It never renders.

Good theme with lots of options but I seem to have a problem when creating a homepage as a “page” instead of a blog listing. As a news site, we use bylines of many different writers who provide copy through syndications or wire services we subscribe to. The articles are posted via a “CHB” account and then we apply the correct bylines of writers using the “byline” plug-in. If we use the “blog” home page from recent posts, the “byline” names appear properly but when we create a new home page using TD Composer, the bylines are lost and the “CHB” line appears instead as the writer who created the article. This didn’t happen with the WP Bakery VC Composer but we are like the TD Composer and are using it to create our home page. The bylines appear find on the category archive page listings and the post template but not on the articles and excerpt used one the home page.
Example: Here is the latest homepage: https://www.capitolhillblue.com As you can see the lead article in the biggrid list at the top lists “CHB’ as the author because the article uses that ID and not the “byline” that is supposed to appear.
Second Example: https://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/69693 This is an article that appears from the link on the home page. The correct byline is listed in it.
Third Example: https://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/category/congress This is an archive page. The correct “bylines” appear in the BigGrid on the top of the page and also on most recent articles listed under it.
Is there a coding that can correct the listing on the home page?
I am trying to set custom (google) fonts in the theme panel. After changing the fonts and stylings some are saving and they are displayed on the front end. Others are reverted back to their previous setting after the save. This has happened multiple times.
I am running the latest verion of the theme and all plugins.
Also I notice some of the fonts/stylings are taken from the demo installation (default demo)… I have made a new homepage layout in TD-Composer.. and set style and layout options in the theme panel. Can I just uninstal this demo to remove its influence? Or will that cause I lot of issues if the stylesheet disapears?
What the best way to approach that?
The issue is when the page loads it loads the default font and colour accents. After 2 seconds the custom settings kick in and are displayed correctly…. but the initial load is still the ‘default’ settings. Should I uninstal that demo or should I look to edit the css somewhere. I suppose that would lead to quicker page speed if I did it that way??

Dear, I believe this code snippet has to do with Newspaper … Does the theme (or WPBakery Composer, which was part of the theme) not use Ajax and jQuery? Does not Newspaper need to call these scripts in any file?
Hi
I took over this site and whilst trying to update the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin I deactivated it, deleted it then realise I didn’t have the .zip file to reload it – HELP!
can you supply this ?

Hi,
This isn’t for untested plug ins? This is for the visual composer td image box?
Hello!
I made the upgrade to the latest version 8.5 but I can no longer add any Visual Composer elements. The popup opens, all the elements appear, but clicking any one of them does not happen. Now if I edit any component that was already on the page I usually get it.
I have uploaded again all the files of the theme, including the plugin and did not solve.
I also tried to disable all plugins leaving only Visual Composer and nothing. I currently use a child theme:

I look forward to a return as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
Using that row layout provides the same results for me as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/U52Ku73Ia
You should try to use only the recommended row layouts in Visual composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Or create a row layout like this, there should be no problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OxPVkCL1baRE
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SvVO99l14
If you are planing to use Visual composer as the page builder for your website, you should deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Visual composer specific elements or layouts may be affected by the tagDiv composer.
Thanks
Hi,
Watching the video you have provided it is clear the tagDiv composer is not functioning as intended. There should be no such issues using text elements.
Please try as a first step to update the theme and theme plugins to the latest version
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
After this try as a quick test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and check if the problem is still present. Additionally disable your browser extensions, or test in incognito mode if possible.
We will take a look if none of these suggestions fix the issue. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
Can we get the source code for td-composer? The zip that comes with the theme contains only minified JS files.
Regards,
Hi,
I really couldn’t say why this code that is present only in the page source would be picked and displayed in the search results like that.
This code originates from the tagDiv composer plugin and is related to the Live CSS editor, from the admin bar

hi Simon
thanks for answering.
here’s a screenshot of a part of the layout

i know that blocks should adapt to the layout, but this isn’t working for me and i don’t know why. I’ve installed both the composer plugins.
HERE HERE… nycinsider… tagdiv composer has many great elements, but it sadly fails to deliver on some of the most simple of things which should really be a basic function to any page builder platform, such as adding text and being able to simply make some simple customization to that text.
I regret the day I moved away from VC to td composer.
I have been trying to add the TD column text element to page, but cannot for the life of me figure out how this works, something that should be so straight forward.
Bogdan (tagdiv support) in a previous thread claims is works exactly the same as in Visual Composer… REALLY! I am not finding that at all. Adding text and the ability to customize that text, is so much easier and better in VC than with tagdiv composer… I am finding anyway!
Here is a short video which shows the difficulty I am having adding text to page > http://nimb.ws/uA9yGr
Some help and guidance with this would be much appreciated, as I am losing the will to live trying to get some simple text added.
Hi there,
I’m struggling to find an answer to the following. I have created a banner ad for a client and placed it on the static homepage of our newssite. I used Tag Div Composer and the block Single Image to place the ad on the desired place on that page.
The problem I have is that my image is not responsive for all devices. If I want to place it as a code in the Ads section I found the code to use, but can’t find other sizes for that image in the upload folder. Besides that, how do I make sure that when someone clicks on the ad, it will link to the site of my advertiser? I don’t see an example for that in the code given on the forum in the non-Adsense ads section.
So to put it simple: I have a selfmade image/banner ad, I want to place it with tag div composer on any place I prefer on my (home)pages and I want the image to be responsive when showing on a tablet or mobile phone. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Hello,
Please choose the grid style from the tagdiv composer. Set it to grid style 4.
And then add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box: .td-grid-style-4 .td-big-grid-post .entry-title{
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.7);
}
Thank you!
Hello monsur,
You should use the Youtube or Vimeo playlist elements from TD Composer, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
