Hi,
Please try as a first step to deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, and clear any installed cache. Then deactivate and delete the tagDiv composer plugin and install it again from the theme package.
After this create a new page and check to see if everything works as it should, regarding the row background options.
Also take a look to the theme system status and see if the WordPress and server parameters are set according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If there is still a problem please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can investigate.
Thanks
Hello,
In order to split the row in 3 you only need to edit your page in the tagdiv composer and split the row like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/9HzoFiD6
Thank you!
Hi,
You can simply edit the page with the composer and change the block template header style, to the one you want for each block on the page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3R8S16sWrc
Here you can see all the available block header styles
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
Also more useful information about the block settings and options here

Please let us know if you need further help.

Hi,
I’m using your theme with visual composer and I have a question about the “block” elements.. When I drag and drop one of those blocks the layout shown in the visual composer is different of what I see when publishing the page. For example I drag a block that shows three images per row but when I publish the page it shows 5 images per row. See attached images.

Is there any setting I’m missing?
Thanks.
Hi,
Each block title can be customized the way you like. Simply edit the page with the composer and change them

Widgets in sidebars can be customized in Appearance->Widgets section

Just using Visual Composer did not work, however if I just use Tagdiv it works. It would be obviously ideal to be able to use both.
This is what I received from support, that is why I disabled VC.
The only think I could think of it the child theme caused the problem? I’ll try to move back to the main theme instead of using a child? or do you have a child theme I can download?
Hi,
You used Visual Composer to create also your posts – https://www.screencast.com/t/s77PNwJBHwxz so in this case you will have to use V.C. and deactivate tagdiv composer.
Tagdiv composer doesn’t work on post pages.
I have disabled tagdiv composer and activated V.C. on your site.
Unfortunately in this case you will not be able to use tagdiv composer on your site.
Thanks!
Alin V.
This is the email I received when I emailed contact@tagdiv.com last time:

Hello,
After updating theme and all the plugins, i can’t edit content with TagDivComposer.
Moreover i moved website from http to https.
In console i see these errors (even if a i desable VisualComposer):
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
So WP editor doesn’t load, could you help me to solve this problem?
Hello,
You can add an ajax filter to all of your blocks on the front page. edit each one in the tagdiv composer and enable the ajax filter for each one.
Thanks.
Hi,
Using the tagDiv composer there are options to set a background color or image for the rows, in the row settings CSS tab
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Mb5lB4HvMr2N
There should be no problem in this matter. Please provide some examples of the issues you are having, so we can inspect the issue further.
Thanks
Hi,
If the tagDiv composer is interfering with other Visual composer elements, deactivate this editor from the plugins section. Then everything will have to display like before.
Deactivate the tagDiv composer, then simply create pages with Visual composer.
There should be no issues like grids displaying like you mention, even if both editors are active
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wCIbRfhAop3Q
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VuR7LEHQ
This could be caused by other things, like custom code, plugins or maybe a child theme. Please try as a test to deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins, and check if this has any effect. The page template you are referring to has to display properly with both composers active, or just with Visual composer.
Thanks
Hello,
In order to move over from VC to the tagdiv composer you should follow this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
As for the ad on the bottom of the post, please check the ads section of the theme panel and remove any unwanted ads. That is the ‘article bottom ad’
Thanks
Hi there,
I would love to create an image across my page. I had this done before with Revolution Slider. But as you can see ( http://www.serinawilliam.nl ) there is now a blank space. And when it pops up, it takes a lot of time to load. It is not attracting my clients when my page isn’t working correctly.
I want to fix it with just using the picture and not have Revolution Slider doing the presentation. But how can I do this? When i use ” Image” element in visual composer it show up too small and not the way i want it
edit; I don’t know what happened but the image appeared again. But it still takes a lot of time to load. I think my page will have more benefit with using the simple image code/element in visual composer instead of using Revolution Slider.
Hi,
Unfortunately such row layout options are not available in the tagDiv composer editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
The blocks and other theme elements are designed to be used and display properly only with the current row and columns options. That is the case for the Visual composer editor as well. You should try and use the available row settings, to create the website.
Thanks
Hi, so because of the issues with visual composer and tagdiv, I’ve had to move the newspaper theme onto a different site. I’ve installed the theme however when I try to install the demo content, it says installed but none of the prebuilt pages are there or none of the settings came in.
Hi,
Something is not functioning properly on the page. The tagDiv compose works fully, there should be no problem using any of it’s options and features, without any custom code.
In this case the width of the column is not applying as it should
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qH3LVvr4
This can be caused by plugin conflicts, or maybe custom code. It is not happening in my tests while having only Visual composer and tagDiv composer active (and theme plugins).
The page layout is displayed as intended

Thanks
Hi,
That should not happen. There was a similar issue before regarding this matter. It happened when users updated the Visual composer plugin to the latest version before it has been officially supported by the theme and included in the theme package. That is not recommended.
The version currently supported and included in the bundle is Visual composer 5.2.1. This version works properly with the theme. Please check if you have this plugin version installed at the moment. If it is not, deactivate and delete it and use the one provided in the theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hi,
Updates for the Visual composer plugin will be provided in the theme package, after they are properly tested. Direct updates from the plugins author are not possible, those are available only for purchased plugin licenses.
However you should not update this plugin if you have purchased it separately, until it is officially supported and included in the theme bundle. Please check in the theme package and follow the guide that is provided above, to update Visual composer.
The other topic provides some solutions for the problem you are having with the icons, please follow the suggestions mentioned there.
Thanks
How can I use TAGDIV COMPOSER to edit default post page? I don´t understand nothing of coding and would like to edit the default post page as same I edit my home page.
Thank you.
Hi everyone on TagDiv,
first of all congrats to Update to 8.1. – really great again and the TagDiv-Composer is awesome (after you get used to it) 🙂 … – great new ideas and possibilities. Keep up the great work!
During the update I found a few problems, I do not know, where to change or where to search. Please check attached screenshot with numbers from 1 to 3

1. We use MegaMenu on this layout, unfortunately the height of the menu is to small – approx. 20px – to make it look nice, I need a height of 40-45px – where to change it?
2. Below nearly every page is a white line which will ruin the layout. Not only on the Home-page, also on
e.g.
https://www.pureglam.tv/fashion-blog
https://www.pureglam.tv/technik-blog
https://www.pureglam.tv/beauty-blog
How to remove them on individual page-IDs?
3. Where to change the background color of the Top-menu. Unfortunately not possible to change on Theme colors.
Thank you for your assistance and keep up the great work and great support!
Hi,
I found that Tagdiv Composer can not set row background with image or color at its css option.
Is this a bug?
Thanks
So I figured out if I turn off visual composer and only use TagDiv then everything is ok with the layouts. However I was instructed that some of the issues I was having with other articles came using both, and that now I can only use visual composter. So what should I do?
This is what it looks like with visual composer turned on, as you can see it looks like the Big Grid doesn’t fit.
http://prntscr.com/gm4o92
Now after I turn off visual composter everything seems to fit ok.
http://streamtheplanet.com/
But then it creates the problem of having content under the sidebar I was having in my other topic I created.
Is there is no switching back to Tagdiv composer now that I’ve used VC?
So I was told that I’m forced to use visual composer only on my site. Which I’m doing. I wanted to setup one of the template homepages that were included with the theme as my new home page.
http://streamtheplanet.com/homepage-newsmag/
However whats happening is that the pre-set layout has visual composer columns in it, and those columns are not showing up.
I’ve made no modification to the page, this is the preset homepage that came with the theme.
