I have 1800 pages. Do I need to manually modify the image height on all pages? This is not how the site looked a week ago. Is there a way to automate this process? Please note, we took no action to put a height restriction on our site. Is this something that Newspaper Theme did with it’s most recent update?
Also, we noticed our “Share This” plugin is no longer working on Pages. Is this related to the update.
Also, can we still use visual composer with Newspaper. Is this still part of the theme?
If you can help me understand what our options are moving forward, I would appreciate it.

You can edit the homepage with the composer you used to create it, and remove or add the elements you want. Visual composer if the page is created with this editor, or tagDiv composer if you used this one. Do not use tagDIv composer to edit pages, if the page was created in Visual composer. This may lead to problems

I am facing a theme speed issue after adding custom CSS to my theme, from the theme panel. Initial speed, without the custom CSS, is 94/97 on Speed Insights which is super.
Upon adding the custom CSS I get these 6 strange render-blocking CSS which where not there before:

As a result the website speeds down by 79/91, which is great, but why not speed up more (I mean your theme has amazing speed).
Even if I deactivate all erelevant plugins like Jetpack or Contact Form 7, I still get render 4 blocking sources (which I don’t get without the custom code)

Based on your instruction I added to the td-speed-booster.php the following code

but the issue persists.
Unfortunately I cannot use WP Cache on my server because it does not support the plugin. I can use other 3rd party plugins to optimize (Autoptimize, Above the fold) but that will only take me to 84%.
Any suggestions?

Please keep in mind that you must have only one-page builder installed on your side. Also, you cannot edit the page with TD Composer if the page was created with VC. If it worked in the previous version it should work in the latest one as well. There is no need to activate Visual composer, it is provided pre-activated in the theme package.

If you do not want to use the tagDiv composer for your pages, try deactivating it form the plugins section. It is activated by default when you update the theme.
If the issue is still present, also deactivate all your other plugins except Visual composer and clear any installed cache. Then test again.

I did not make any change on my front page, but some elements like post slider, static images, slides, etc do not show up. Also, some slides do not function properly, it is just static with multiple titles on top of each other. it just happened suddenly.
But, on the back end, in the visual composer it is still there. Can someone help me…or does it have soemthing to do with the visual composer itself?

I don’t know why I am not seeing the problem. I suggest you try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then check again.

Most likely, all of your untested plugins can interact with the TD Composer and causes this errors. Remove all of the untested plugins, leave just TD Composer and required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.

1. The latest theme update featured the introductions of the new front-end page editor, the tagDiv composer. This editor is activated by default at the moment you update the theme. If you are using Visual composer, please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Then check the functionality of the image box again.

2. If the plugin is not displayed in the plugins section, the it is added differently. Maybe you inserted code or shortcode in the theme files, or the theme panel custom code sections.
3. If you want to display an image in the ads section you can do it like this

If you have tried this and the image is not displayed, it could be a caching problem. Try clearing any caching installed then check again.
4. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the mentioned parameters in this guide, if necessary

This could be the reason for slow loading and other issues, like settings not saving properly.
The theme is tested and works properly with the Visual composer editor provided in the theme package. This does not require any activation, I could not help you with the activation of a purchased Visual composer issue.

Unfortunately, even with all plugins except td-composer deactivated it still appears. If I deactivate td-composer, the error disappears. It’s a pity that the theme is not working without.

You could try to manually upload the tagDiv composer editor in the plugins folder. Simply unzip the plugin and upload it to the plugins folder in your wordpress installation by FTP.

There has been nothing but issues with the re-installation of this template/newspaper theme. The WordPress backend/editor is not updating things that I do.
1) For example, if I go to home page, and prepend to any column, add single image, the image uploaded or chosen from the library displays as a much larger size then the image size that was uploaded.
2) On the home page, https://www.delawarenewsline.com, on the left side is a plug in called Zotobox displaying social buttons in the debug/left browser position, yet the plug in is not even displayed in my plug in list.
3) Theme settings>ads> when I put the url of an image, and click save, and refresh my browser, it does not show any image at all.
4) sometimes when i click update on the home page, it takes a really long time to update.
It seems that images displayed on “posts”, that are displayed on the home page displays properly on the home page, but when you try to edit the home page using the Visual composer for images, it does not. I recently purchased the pro version of Visual Composer bakery but not able to validate it because the email used is inactive/no longer exist.
Can you take a look at these issues and see if you can duplicate them and see what needs to be done to fix this?

A user noticed some problems in iPad 2 visualization.
Last voice of the menu is going on a new row, but also at the elements under the menu have visualization problems and the news are overlapping as you can see from this screen we received from the user: https://ibb.co/dkANNk
Now we would like to know how to proceed as portrait mode is a very common visualization (and iPad is a very common device).
All the test we are making with screen emulators aren’t giving us any problems at all, but
on a iPad 3 we have tested the same problems.
Could we manage the responsiveness of the portrait mode from the Visual Composer?
Do you suggest any other quick solutions?
If needed we can provide you admin access to the production back office and the test back office as well.
