About the ads management:
2. There’s a problem with your ads manager, for the ads in articles, you can access this url:

I used the “article top ad” with a 336x280px ads, and is appearing a horizontal ads. And in “article bottom ads” I used a responsive ads.
In the homepage I used:
– a 728x90px in custom_ad_1 after the header block named “em destaque” and a responsive ads in custom_ad_2 after the block named “preparacao”.
As you can see doesnt matter the size of the ads blocks, your theme have own sizes in specific locations. I dont know why this is happening, I tried to desactive all plugins (except visual composer) I verified another site with the same theme, and it is working fine (like hxxp://sensacionalista.com.br).
9. How can I create “sliding sidebar blocks” like in the demo of newsmag? Note that I want to use this functionality with the sidebar blocks created in visual composer, not with the widgets.
10. About the size of the cover images for the articles. I tried to use the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails, but without sucess with your theme.
What I can do to adjust a better view to the images in each type of visualization that you theme offer? For example, for the same posts your theme use diferent sizes for the homepage and for the page of the categories.
As you can see the same post “O Que Faz um Analista Tributário da Receita Federal?” with the cropped image in the page of category:

But not cropped in the:

Please make sure that this also happens when using just the theme’s Visual Composer plugin as this could be case by a plugin. If noting changes please also provide your site’s url so we can have a look at this and inspect it.

Please also try this without using any extra plugins leave just theme’s Visual Composer plugin active and make sure you empty all caches/purge files and test again.

Hey guys, great theme and a well sorted update.
I have a little problem with my main navigation.
A couple of months ago I set all of my pages to be pulled from their respective categories as I thought this would lessen strain on the server and reduce the number of calls to visual composer but after doing some testing the performance wasn’t noticeably different.
I’ve now decided I would rather like to add more functionality to the new pages through VC so I have changed all of the menu items back to having their own page so they don’t pull from the category.
Now I have all of the pages in the main navigation set to pull their respective page in the wordpress backend via Appearence/menus as you normally would but when I refresh the home page and click on my Navigation items they still pull the content from the category and not the new pages
I have refreshed the permalinks, cleared all of the caches and tried it in several different browsers but the problem remains.
I did activate cloudflare on the site a few weeks ago and then decided to turn it off, I am wondering if the site is still being fed content from cloudflare even though it has been off for a month or so? How I would go about checking this.
I have had a few weeks off from developing this site whilst waiting for the new update so it may be something simple that I am overlooking.
Any ideas would be very welcome
I also have a little problem with the navigation in Chrome and firefox on my android tablet. The main items in the nav bar are fine, the sub pages show when you press the nav item and they work fine but the main pages in the navigation don’t open when you click them, just the drop down appears and you can’t access the main page.
Please let me know your thoughts

1. Category page cannot be build via Visual Composer like your homepage. Theme doesn’t have option for this and you will need custom modification, unfortunately we cannot provide any custom work for the moment, sorry.

I am not very good with coding, and am trying to set up my site using Newsmag. However, I cannot get the columns to display correctly – especially on the homepage. Please see here: http://www.thecarexpert.co.uk
The content appears too big for the column and so is spilling downwards. I assume this is in issue with Visual Composer, but I can’t solve it.

1. I dont know if is I or you that didnt understand, I want the show 3 figures in the header (just occurs to my homepage) when I click in a specific category, for example to:

4. I´m facing problems with the adsense implementation in the middle of homepage.
I did many tests, I created 728×90 ads block and a responsive block, the 728×90 I put in the custom_ads1, after the posts of the category “notícias” as you can see in my homepage, and after the category “preparação” (above the latest articles) I put a responsive ads.
For both, the size appears responsive. And by this way I can conclude that isn’t a problem with the adsense code. So why it appeared responsive? I want to use 728×90 ads like appears in the newspaper theme.

6. How can I remove the “latest articles” from homepage and bring the widget “stay connected” to the top of the sidebar? I don’t know how to decrease the distance between the sidebar blocks of the visual composer and the blocks created in the widget section.
7. In the visual composer blocks, like I did to the category “notices” (notícias) in the top of my site, how can I put buttons to show next and previous notices? Like in this site hxxp://sensacionalista.com.br
We’ve noticed that by default the code from visual composer pages appears in search results (site search). For the moment I’ve manually adjusted search to only return posts, but the same hooks are used when searching things such as the media library, which means we can’t currently search uploaded images.
Is this the default behavior? Is there a more elegant workaround?

You might have noticed above that I have in fact added ID’s of blocking styles and Js at the appropriate place in speedbooster plugin but these are still appearing in Pagespeed insights results.

i have activated the theme’s post sharing buttons but dont know why i am getting some extra similar sharing buttons along with them too ?
the plugins active on my site are:

– table press

– seo by yoast,

– w3 total cache,
– revolution slider,
how can i remove the the extra sharing options as show in the picture ?

Please check if you have this issue after you disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer active, also empty cache. If you don’t have this issue anymore activate your plugins one by one and see which cause this issue.

I tried to activate Newsmag theme but visual composer didn’t work. So I have to return to my old theme.
There are some “sitemap” plugins out there which can build a timeline list of stories, although that might be 100 pages for some sites, and not practical.
Technically might be easier to simply use the built in hooks to generate the equivalent of the normal WP ‘archives’ widget for showing news by date….
maybe build a “page” and use visual composer, and insert the “archives” widget which would be a list of all your indexes by year, month ?
in any case I have seen some “sitemap” plugins that do what you want, so maybe look in the plugin repository for those as first step if you don’t know how to write the loop/query code on page template yourself.
