I understand what you have said, but not sure on exact “element” to fix.
On a mobile emulator website you can see here http://screencast.com/t/DaCDfWvLI
the left margin or padding has been set in each element on the page through Visual Composer modules.
Now as per this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/CSGN7h8ID that there is no padding etc in each Visual composer element.
Is this a bug within the theme?
If tested the theme on a brand new WP install and it does exactly the same. I hope i do not need to apply a fix every time the theme is used.
As to a fix i understand the @media query setting for css. I am wondering to which class i would apply padding or margin too.
Would it be the body??? as it seems to be only the page elements, not the header etc??

If I purchase visual studio and install it, so I can use some of the Visual Composer plugins, will this break the theme? will I have the theme shortcodes in Visual composer or will I have to manually install them?

Unfortunately the license doesn’t allow us to also distribute the manual/guide for it.

Those warnings are built in the plugin by it’s developer, we already removed some of them but it seems we missed one, we’ll try to remove it in our next update. Sorry for this.

Hi Guys,
I am doing a site here http://www.softwaredesignbiz.com/katrina/
Now on the home page i have applied a 20px padding to all the visual composer elements to have it show nicely on my mobile phone.
But every other page all elements site too far to the left either on a mobile or when you minimize your browser window.
What is the fix here, as i dont really want to have to apply the fix to every element.

Thanks for you reply. I disabled all of the plugins. Only disabling one had any effect WPBakery Visual Composer but all that happened was the code showed up on each page.
Could it be a problem with the ID. I am using the tabs in post rather than pages so I am generating the code in visual mode on a page and then coping the code into the backed of the post. Here is the code that I am using.

Ever since I updated to Newspaper v3.8.4 I’ve had a notification on post and pages in my dashboard that says: “Hola! Please activate your copy of Visual Composer to receive automatic updates.”
Thought maybe I updated it incorrectly. So I deactivated the plugin, deleted it. Then I switched from my child theme to the main Newspaper theme, and reinstalled the js_composer.zip plugin.
But I’m still getting the not activated notification on posts and pages. Is there anything I can do about this?

But this one has some limitations and depending on the other blocks it may not work properly.

Re, Font Awesome:
I think the theme uses the built-in icons from Bootstrap 3 (aka “Glyphicons”). Adding Font Awesome would slow down the site a little bit, even if loaded off the CDN.
Still, you could likely simply add this in the appropriate place:
(likely in the header section, and/or in the td speed booster plugin)

Its working now which is strange.
I activated the child theme and all appears to be working.
As a side note is their a way to implement ” Font Awesome ” Icons both in the menus and throughtout the site?

I am having a drama with Visual Composer. As you will see here on a site I am doing ” http://www.softwaredesignbiz.com/katrina/ ”
The alignment and CSS Animations are not working. The first paragraph About Us, the single image and the text below it have animations applied to it, but are not working at all.
Please help me out here to get them working. I have used visual composer on other sites I have done with different hemes and the animations work fine.

Always a trade off. Many folks whined about wanting it separate vs built in. Now it’s separate and folks are complaining about that.
Just ignore it and get on with life. The version with theme and the commercial version will never be “in sync” 100% — the bundled version is a group license, the commercial version is from the VC folks. Frankly THEY (Bakery folk) should setup a proper notification with WP for the bundle version, since this impacts many themes we work with here.
Not an issue specific to this theme, in other words 🙂
Do we have to go through this every time this “WPBakery Visual Composer” have a update now today it’s saying to update again to a new “version 4.2.2” is there any way to stop this because no one can update this plugin but the owners,it’s a big PAIN keep saying a update and we can’t even update it our self…

I have just started to use this theme and I am trying to to a few test posts but I have notice that the tagDIV Shortcodes are not showing in Visual Composer I have the latest theme and used the Visual Composer plugin from that download and is version 4.2.1
