Hello!
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. For example, in the step3 here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-cryptocurrency-price-ticker-widget/
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

i have the Problem that my Page deactivated over night the tagdiv composer and the tagdiv standard pack. I have to reactivate it every day. Could anybody help me? Tagdiv Newspaper Version 12.3.1 and WP 6.2
Hello. I didn’t see anything in the forum that addressed my issue specifically. On the Pages area, if I choose to edit the page with TagDiv I immediately get an error 500 internal server error. I did refer to the section on TagDiv not working to no avail. I did deactivate all plugins but TagDiv plugins, and the hosting requirements to run the Newspaper theme are all there.
I don’t have a problem accessing the admin area or website. Only error I get is when trying to use TagDiv Composer.
Any suggestions?

If you zoom in to 300% or 400%+ (at least on my PC) this dropdown menu labelled “The Rimont” appears on a sticky row that follows the user up and down the webpage. The Rimont is the name of the demo and header theme, and I can isolate the element when viewing the Chrome console, but I don’t see where it’s coming from in either the visual composer or in the shortcode editor. Has anyone seen this before? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
How do I apply the global footer to the category template. (Is it global in the sense that it is applied to homepage, and page and post templates?) When I edit the category template there’s a message that I have to edit the footer template separately through the cloud templates. But there is no option to do so under category template, and as mentioned I already edited the “global” footer.
As far as the posts, I haven’t been able to find any “post” template. How do I apply the “global” footer and global header to those templates?
In the grand scheme, we are looking for an effective mobile strategy that allows use to edit – either through CSS or the TagDiv composer.

I already have the Category filter set on: “current category”
But when I use it on the parent category page I do not see children’s posts.
I have 3 levels of category, on the last level it works fine but I don’t see the grandchild posts in the 1 and 2 levels.
I understand that this could not be possible from the TagDiv Composer panel, I wonder to know the position of the php file to edit the code.

This could allow a malicious actor to inject malicious scripts, such as redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into your website which will be executed when guests visit your site. This vulnerability has been fixed in version 4.0.
The tagDiv Composer module must be updated to avoid wordpress hacks. Could you give us a feedback on this point. THANKS.

Hello to all, I downloaded newspaper 12 and cloud templates of smartlist 4 and 5. I’m just trying to get my ads active on smartlist 4 and 5. But when i try to save ads code in composer it says saved it actually doesnt save. What can i do?

There is no issue because the security issue was added in the tagDiv Composer version 4.0 -> https://i.imgur.com/sF8iilF.png those from jetpack put a condition there lower than 4.0 and I think that’s why that alert appears. Please deactivate, delete and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/OrzLvR2j and clear all cache.

I have tested with only tag div plugins. It has done nothing to help. When I hit the tag div composer on the home page to edit, it sends me to a 404 page. Nothing seems to fix this at all.
I can not edit any of my pages with the tag div composer (so I basically can’t edit them at all). When I hit the composer it sends me to a 404 error page. I have done a plug-in check and it doesn’t change anything. Go daddy checked my server and ran an error log and found errors with the theme. This issue is new. I need to be able to edit my home page. please help.

I’m frustrated. I’m paying for support. You don’t understand. When I hit the tag div composer on my home page to edit my home page it sends me to the 404 page. Using the composer does not work. I literally can NOT edit my home page or any page with the tag div composer. I’ve been instructed to do a plug in test. I did that and it doesn’t fix a thing. This is the Theme! Please help me figure this out. The issue is with the theme. Not my server and not a plugin.

Did you have the plugins installed, activated, and up to date?
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache.
Make a full backup, update the theme, do these steps:
1. deactivate TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall (delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).
