The goal is to be able to edit the content on each blog page one by one by replacing it so it is custom-specific to the page, e.g. hows stars twinkle i want to edit items 1-5 from my last reply, for why the sky is blue i want to edit items 1-5, etc.
I want to keep the template the same. I want all blog pages to pre-load with items 1-5. Then I want to be able to custom-specific edit each blog pages so the dummy content is removed with actual content.
I could provide a code to make them invisible to users that aren’t logged in, like regular visitors. Please try this code:

You can add it just for posts, edit the post template with the composer and add a Raw CSS element anywhere in the post template https://prnt.sc/Wt8lOtDLl4Eh then add that code in it https://prnt.sc/P-O0VhkYCSGe
Then clear the cache and check on the website. The views should not be displayed anymore if you check in incognito mode for example, or if you log out of the website.

Such things are not actually issues. As you can see, we provide a multitude of post templates, each with different designs and layouts -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single Some display a smaller featured image, some display a larger featured image. And of course, any of them can be customized with the composer to achieve the desired result. You can also make your own post template if you want.
On your website I see you are currently using a default backup post template. I believe you used to use a standard template before, which looked like this for example https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/15-grooming-techniques-every-man-needs-to-know/ Isn’t there an error on your post pages when you are logged in as an admin?

I assume that the error happens when you try to edit the post template with the composer. What if you try editing it like this:

I was confusing the websites, sorry about that.
So to remove the post views from the post template, please edit the template with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/_lkDuWx4VESx and in the composer you can simply delete the post views, for example -> https://prnt.sc/VJQcNFWJ-jhV Then they won’t appear in the post page anymore, which is what you wanted.

Is there a way to exclude a specific category from search results in the tag composer search template. Or include results from a specific category only.
I see it. There is a problem with the width of the columns. While the rows in the composer limit the available space for regular posts built built with the wordpress editors, WPBakery has its own rows and design. So there are rows inside rows, each with their own layout and design.
Thankfully it’s not that much of a problem and can be fixed with some CSS. That depends on how you used WPBakery on the website before. Did you use it for posts perhaps, or just for pages? If for example you just used it for a few pages, then those pages can simply be recreated with the composer. But if it was used on a lot of pages, and maybe even posts, then it must remain active and I’ll start looking for solutions.

Pressing them should open the import window like this https://prnt.sc/3jez0fGCOtp7 Then you select what you want to import and confirm. But if these steps aren’t working correctly, then it means there’s a problem.
From what I see you have the WPBakery plugin active. And I believe there is a bug because of that, which affects the composer. Could you make a test and deactivate the WPBakery plugin and try again?
Did you use WPBakery before for the website? If not, I suggest removing it. The theme doesn’t require it in any way.

So you want logged out users to not see the submit a story menu item? Or what exactly will be different in the header logged in versus logged out.
In the composer there are some options for display restrictions, they are available for rows and columns, and inner rows and inner columns, like so -> https://prnt.sc/eDY_sXIz2ftM Using that option it is possible to show or hide content based on being logged in or not.
In the Submit page you could add a new row and use some text saying that they have to register first. Then hide that row for logged in users. But I’m not quite sure what you want to do with the header. Could you lease explain more?

The issue is happen on all of our reviews (hundreds of individual pages).
Our Single Post cloud template started as a blank page and was made custom with TagDiv Composer. The Review summary block comes at the very end. The structure of the page looks like:

That’s not actually a page template, like the way a post template is. It can be a bit confusing.
That page template option refers to the purpose of the page, not something that can be applied to multiple pages. For example you need a Contact page, you can import a Contact page from the cloud library, meaning a page that was built for that purpose. Importing a page from there creates a new regular page on the website.
If maybe you need to reuse something in multiple pages, like a row containing various elements, you could save that row in the composer using the right click menu -> https://prnt.sc/9np4SnbuslUf Then you can reuse it anywhere -> https://prnt.sc/D7QQQNywr-Kb Or maybe duplicate that page and start with it when you need to build more pages -> https://prnt.sc/U7cPB3jYJFp0

I’m using the Video Block in tagDiv Composer on a page (not a post) with a self-hosted video (no YouTube, no Vimeo, just an MP4 URL).
Before the video starts, I want to show a custom poster image, the same way you can define a thumbnail on Vimeo.
I don’t see any option for this in the block settings.
– Is there a built-in way to set a poster image for a self-hosted video? If not, what’s the recommended approach?
– What image is shown by default? First frame of the video?

We are running Newspaper theme version 12.7.6 on our WordPress site (https://www.opisantacruz.com.ar) and we are experiencing an issue with the mobile menu not opening when tapping the hamburger icon on mobile devices.
Here are the details:
**Issue:**
The hamburger menu icon is visible in the mobile header but tapping it does nothing — the menu does not open on Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android/iOS).
**Setup:**
– Theme: Newspaper 12.7.6
– Page builder: TagDiv Composer
– Mobile header configured in TagDiv Composer with the “Mobile menu” block set to “Mobile Theme” menu
– WP Rocket plugin active with “Delay JavaScript execution” enabled
– WP Engine hosting with server-level caching
**What we have tried:**
1. Excluding tagdiv_theme.min.js from WP Rocket’s Delay JavaScript execution — menu still not opening
2. Excluding /td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme — menu still not opening
3. Excluding tagdiv_npm — menu still not opening
4. Excluding /wp-content/themes/Newspaper and tagdiv-composer — this caused a blank page on article URLs and had to be reverted
5. Clearing all caches (WP Rocket + WP Engine) after each attempt
**Console errors detected (Chrome DevTools):**
– [Violation] 'setInterval' handler took 133ms in tagdiv_theme.min.js?ver=12.7.6:236
– Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token '.' in swg-basic.js:1
– Two 404 errors: /wp-content/cache/min/1/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/snippets/text.js and ace/mode-less.js

Which specific JavaScript file handles the mobile hamburger menu toggle in Newspaper 12.7.6, and what is the correct way to exclude it from WP Rocket’s Delay JavaScript execution without breaking other functionality?

We are running Newspaper 12.7.6 with td-cloud-library 3.7 and td-composer 5.2 on a server with 56 CPUs and 64GB RAM.
Our site has:
– 214,000 published posts
– 209,000 attachments
– PHP 8.0, MySQL 8.0
Every time we activate td-cloud-library or td-composer, the server load spikes from 8 to 90-127 within seconds. We see 100+ php-cgi processes and 80-100 simultaneous MySQL queries running against wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables.
We have already tried:
– Updating plugins to latest versions
– Adding database indexes (including spro_tagdiv_recent_posts from Scalability Pro)
– Increasing PHP memory to 512M
– Clearing all cache
The plugins are incompatible with large sites. Without them active, the server runs fine. With them active, the site crashes.
Please advise what is causing this behavior and how to fix it for large sites.

I am experiencing an issue with TagDiv Composer on a WordPress website using the Newspaper theme.
When I add a Column Text or Text with Title element and click Edit Content, the popup window opens correctly but remains stuck on the loading spinner indefinitely. The content editor never appears and it is therefore impossible to edit the text.
The issue affects both existing and newly created elements.
Environment details:
Theme: Newspaper 12.7.6
Theme Database Version: 12.7.6
WordPress: 7.0
PHP: 8.3.31
Server: Apache
WordPress Language: it_IT
Multisite: No
Caching Plugin: None detected
The WordPress editor itself works correctly and I have not identified any JavaScript errors related to the issue.
Could you please advise whether this is a known compatibility issue or suggest additional troubleshooting steps?

After updating Newspaper (and/or its related plugins), new posts created after the update save blockquote/quote HTML with backslashed attribute quotes, which breaks the markup and styling.
Example (from WordPress code editor)
…<div class=\”quotesourcebox\”>…</div>
Expected:
…<div class=”quotesourcebox”>…</div>
Notes
This affects only posts created after the latest update; older posts are fine.
The problem appears to be double-escaping during editor save/serialization (Gutenberg / quote styling / quoteStyle/className handling).
On the frontend, the malformed class=\”…\” causes CSS selectors like .td_quote_box to fail.

Could you please confirm:
which component is responsible (theme vs td-composer/td-standard-pack), and
provide a patch / hotfix so quotes are stored with proper attributes (class=”…”) without backslashes?

We are not able to edit the home page content on tagdiv composer, but are able to edit the article and review pages content with composer.
We are getting – Server Error
500
Internal Server Error
Error box says – Layout sync error in Content
The editor expects 6 zones but the page is rendering 0. Usually caused by an unclosed HTML tag in a text block (e.g. <div> without </div>). View page Undo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) to restore.
We checked the code with AI, and there are no unclosed HTML blocks.
We have tried to disable all plugins except tag divs, that did not work.
It is working fine on our other website, though. Maybe some code issue here.
Cannot understand the problem; it works on one page and does not work on home page.

What happened to the (Single background image) in the TagDiv Composer? Is there another element we should be using instead? I have that element on my page, and it is just showing whitespace. When I search for it in the composer, I don’t see it.

The logos must be changed with the composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
So for example if you edit the homepage with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/ZGIbsCY7sfgP and click on the logo, you can remove the default demo text logo -> https://prnt.sc/wUaH5M_BUiU0 and set your own. You can use a text logo, or an image logo, or a SVG.
Or is there a problem with the composer? You mentioned that it isn’t working. If the composer isn’t working on your website, I will take a look at the issue. In this case you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, and I will investigate as soon as possible.

The posts use a cloud post template, that’s not actually a sidebar it’s a column with blocks in it. It can be called a sidebar however.
You have two choices for pages:
1. If you build them with wordpress, same as the submit page you mentioned, then the pages can use widget sidebars. In that page for example there is a sidebar, but there’s nothing in it. Please add widgets -> https://prnt.sc/C_YAmGjf59HK
2. Or build the pages with the composer. Use a layout that has a sidebar column -> https://prnt.sc/Tj6hMs7PRi_s and add blocks in it from the composer.
