Module mx6 which is used by this big grid is set differently. It does not have author and date set to it at all in the theme files. You can add them by editing the module file and adding this code to it:

<?php echo $this->get_author();?>
<?php echo $this->get_date();?>

Then it will show up in your big grid. You can then style it a bit with CSS to give it the correct font size:

Hello,

It seems that the method you use for ads is different from one site to another. On the first one you use this class: http://screencast.com/t/0BkSkX9rKCe3 and on the second you use this one: http://screencast.com/t/lfhybkEJY
These are custom classes you use for your adds that are not generated by the theme. When using custom ad spots, the theme css does not apply so make sure you use the same method in both cases if you want to have the same results.

I ran a few more tests on this issue and it seems that this is the default behavior of the element. It is not just at your end. When the page containing it is set as the homepage, the alignment gets set to middle. So only on the homepage will the title be centered.
You can overwrite this alignment if you want by using this custom css:
.home .td-post-template-8 .td-post-header-holder{
vertical-align:bottom!important;
}

Unfortunately, there is not an option for change the dimensions of slide. These are default. Another possibility would be to change it manually using Css code but this option we do not recommend.

The featured image used on post template 8 is streched using javascript code and it wont display the caption.
