Try adding this to Theme Panel > Custom CSS:

.td-sp.td-sp-googleplus, .td-sp.td-sp-pinterest{
display:none;
}

Also, I’m pretty sure the social bar at the bottom uses the class .td-icon-font

Try the following CSS, should make the icons show up

.td-icon-font{
color:#222222!important;
}

And to make the hover look nice

.td-icon-font:hover{
color:#ffffff!important;
}

To leave the mail icon as it is since it has no background

.td-icon-mail-1:hover{
color:#222222!important;
}

For removing the filters try this Custom CSS in your Theme Panel

.td-module-thumb a:last-child:before{
background:transparent!important;
}

Changing the text color:
.td_module_wrap .meta-info .td-editor-date, .td_module_wrap .meta-info .td-module-title a, .td_module_wrap .meta-info .td-editor-date a{
color:#000000!important;
}
Adjust #000000 to your preference.

The “theme” is not a skin, it’s not a clickable graphic of your pages. A theme is collection of CSS and JS elements, including style classes and dynamic elements, as well as ajax calls to the dbase, and queries to pull posts into modules.

If you mean a background graphic, that is usually set as a background image to the page, and is generally not clickable in CSS unless it’s an ad layer.

You could likely edit some of the elements in the style.css file to make certain things like borders and such clickable, but why would you want to do that?

Sorted the top bar log-in section with a quick change to top-menu.php:

I didn’t think “note” was a class used, and you’re defining it but then not using it in your example ?

In any case here is what I’m using for a paragraph tag in Newsmag:

blockquote p { font-size:20px !important; line-height:26px !important; text-align: left !important; padding-left:20px;}

Bootstrap CSS not used in theme, unfortunately (wish it was!), for buttons, etc.

You could save out the custom CSS and JS from Bootstrap using the customizer and then fold those into the theme by adding calls to the JS and putting the CSS at bottom of your style.css.
